I recently had my phone repaired under warranty and since its been returned the newer versoin of Android has been installed and the process to save onto my SD card has changed and cant read the old messages saved form the earlier Android version.

View 1 Replies View Relatedrecently, I used my uncles iphone 4 to imessage my friends. my uncle recently decided to give it to me and get himself the new iphone 4s. Since its from out of country, we went to unlock the iphone 4 and got rid of the old sim card and he got a new sim card with the old phone number (same number for iphone 4). my problem is that im scared he'll be able to receive my old and new imessages. I had deleted them on his old iphone and reset the whole thing twice.the problem is that on the old iphone, I did input my own apple ID to send messages, but I realized later on that it was using the PHONE NUMBER as the CALLER ID. Sure the messages still synced into my iPod 4g and back and forth.
I heard that sometimes, two iphones that had the same sim card or phone number tend to send to each other messages as if it was one phone and that concerns me. Is it possible that when he activates his new iPhone, the old imessages would show up on his phone as syncing? I really don't want him to get his hands on my old messages. The is another "feature" of the SG-II's built-in email app that infuriates me regularly:Each time when the mail app reloads emails from the server, it deletes all previous mails from the inbox (be they read or unread). Thus, if one accidentally triggers two reload/refreshes in sequence (or has automatic mail downloads enabled) this causes the unread mails from (an) earlier refresh(es) to be silently deleted and to "disappear", before one has a chance to read them! This happened already a couple of times to me and this is really insane
View 1 Replies View RelatedI used to back up my iPhone 5 regularly. I backed up manually with iTunes several times a week, and automatically to iCloud. For some time now, my iPhone will not back up to iTunes or iCloud. Backup to iTunes died first, then backup to Cloud. When I try to back up manually, I get an error message saying "iTunes could not back up the iPhone '[my phone]" because the backup was corrupt or not compatible with the iPhone. Delete backup for this iPhone, then try again."Â
However, iTunes shows no backups for this phone. Under "Latest Backup" iTunes also says "Your iPhone has never been backed up to iCloud.Â
At the Apple Store they tried a few things and now say all I can do is a full system reset. Without a backup, I will not be able to restore anything.Â
All I need to restore are the photos. I can access them on my PC when I plug in the iPhone, and I have copied the photos to my PC.Â
If I do a full reset, how can I get the photos back onto the iPhone from the PC?

My old Xperia TX is encrypted. So "Xperia Transfer Mobile" app and "PC Companion" are not working here.
Internal "Backup & restore" app exist on both phones - my new Z5 and TX and serves the same way - it can back up all text messages (and other data which I don't need to transfer) and it does work with encrypted phone! First it asks for password for decrypting and then works fine. I'm saving my backup to SD card. I'm inserting SD card to Z5 and trying to restore with same data but... BnR app can't see saved data on SD card!
I made some researches on content of backups and I see they using different formats for backups. Different files structure, different files contents and different metadata format.
A few days ago my message had lost and I wanted to restore back.My friend suggested me to use the restore function but after it complete, my files such as photo and contact and even new message had all lost. How can I recover back all of my files or undo the restore and make it back to the phone just like before I did my restoration.

I have a replacement handset and have tried resetting to factory settings, checked via Nokia website updater that I have the latest version etc all to no avail. Nokia phone helpline suggest that I send it back for a reset but I am then without a phone for 10 days so will probably settle for a refund. Does anyone know if a fix will be coming from Nokia? The problem that I am having is the messages that were sent to my tmo.blackberry email address that are saved to my phone I cannot find to save to a computer. I have tried forwarding the saved messages to another email address but when I do I get a red "X" and it says "Unlisted message error". View 2 Replies View RelatedMy Blackberry torch automatically deletes saved text messages. When I go to my saved messages folder most or all of them will be gone. I've noticed that when it begins to delete old messages it turns them green so I can not read them again and old messages that I have saved also turn green and are automatically deleted. This is a highly disappointing weakness of the torch and as I am new to Blackberry I thought saving text messages would be an easy and basic task to do. I have never had this problem with any other make of phone. Other than this problem I have only had a few glitches and like the phone but I would not recommend it.
