Xperia X10 :: Its Stuck At "Sony Ericsson" Boot Screen?
Dec 28, 2011
X10 stuck at "sony ericsson" boot screen...Then it shows an image of camera with blue arrow down pointing phone... after it shows "Sony Ericsson" boot screen again, what follows black screen like being shut down. Looks like the battery consumption is increased, cause in couple of hours it starts beeping red light... Today is 4th day since it`s started.
Updated 2 weeks ago, was ok, turn phone off(hang) back on- now just fails to boot (flashes 14 sec) shows sony logo 1 at boot, then flashes. You plug into PC, ask for boot file driver? Looks like latest patch (maybe) screed up boot up of phone. I've never backed it up. Doing a phone repair. But will I lose everything? Including doc + paid games 90% done. This is a fresh phone, what happen to my games + data (I need them?) I pulled sd card out. I never herd of a phone not booting? Lost contacts. games(paid) etc memos. I've completed repair, all data on sd card, all phone data gone?
I think I have bricked my phone I don't know how. I press the power button on top and get normal buzz then Sony Ericsson in white letters on black background and stays there. Tried reset by turning on top button whilst holding middle button, no good. Tried holding back button whilst plugging in usb charger cable no good (LED wont even come on to indicate charging) tried with sim card in and sim card out, no good. Tried with memory card in and memory card out, no good.
Wanted to load new firmware update from SE support site - before I have updated with no problems held back button whilst plugging in usb cable and released back button when told me to on screen but now it seems there is a different way to update through pc companion now, well it tells me to pull down the notification bar but how can I do this if the phone wont even get to the normal screen with notification bar? How can I go back to the old way of updating firmware using SE update or do I have to do it through companion software now.
Since this morning I've been having trouble with my K850i. I took it off charge this morning and attempted to turn it on. The keypad lights up as does the light around the camera lens but the screen stays blank. These lights continue to stay lit and I can only turn off the phone by removing the battery. I rang SE and they said to try updating the firmware on the phone. The update service told me that I have the latest firmware but I tried updating anyway. It hangs at 0% and then says it has failed. Last resort is sending it back to get repaired which will probably take weeks.
My phone looks like a tiny brick now. I can't reset it, I can't upgrade/fix/repair because it's stuck at the SE logo. It happened after internet browsing I've been prompted to forcefully close the browser, then later on it wants me to close the SE home app, then finally it's reset and I can only see until the SE logo.
I tried removing the battery for more than 10 secs, pluggin the usb cable while pressing back - still can't connect to pc. I tried holding down power+home, nothing.
Is there a hard reset button somewhere I can use? I'd rather reset everything with all my data than send it over to SE support since that means it'll take weeks with no phone
Today,I turn on my X8,and i want to go to market and download some apps,so when i open market,it pops out this log in thing. Then,i type my gmail password, then it said network error, but i am connected to my wifi already. Then,I press try again a few times and it still said network error. Then I went to settings, accounts, and I tried to delete my account and open a new account, but it said something about not responding something like that and it pops back to settings. So I factory reset my x8,and when it reboots to the sony ericsson text,it hangs.
i cannot open my xperia play, it stuck at Sony Erricsson Text, but i can open it when i connect it to PC or charge it, but when i remove the usb chord or charger it restart right away, and it will stuck again in sony ericsson text, why my xperia become like this?
Well the Warranty is up on my phone and i was wondering if anyone has any ideas on how to bring it back to life. I was sending my friend a text message and right after i hit send the screen went white and the telus logo showed up (boot screen). Now it's stuck there. I tried pulling the battery out and when i start it up it stays on the Telus screen. Tried plugging the charged in but still nothing new. Anyone ever heard of this happening. I'd like to try and fix it and if it dies completely due to my tampering i'll just end up buying a new phone anyways. Any help you guys could provide would be great. My only chance is to maybe pick up a USB cable and see if i can access the files and upgrade firmware or something. Oh and the screen doesn't dim it stays on bright until i pull the battery.
my iphone froze up while opening the phone app so i did a hard reset (held down power & home button until it shut off). when i turned the phone on again it got stuck on the boot screen. i tried plugging it in to my computer to restore it but nothing happens.
my old w550i is stuck on the please wait screen :S? after i flashed the phone it has ben stuck on this screen. i fully charged the battery befor i flashed it, I used SeTool2 and the correct firmware and i also backed up the gdfs? yet its gone wrong. any help will be great
My blackberry 8900 has been running slow over the last day or so.A few hours a go it totally froze.I took the battery off and rebooted the handset. When the handset was booting up, it was stuck on the tmobile screen and doesnt boot up to the main screen to allow me to go onto the blackberry menu etc.I have tried to reboot the handset a few times and its still stuck on the tmobile screen for hours...I have even tried it without the sim and still no joy.
I called the t mobile customer services and they tried to fob me off saying that there is a problem with the network at the moment (for 3g and data services) and this is the reason why my phone wasnt booting up...I know this cant be the problem. They said the only thing they can try is do a reboot from there end?? But that doesnt seem to have worked.Anybody had this problem and does anybody have any idea what the problem could be and how to resolve it??
This is happening for the second time with me. First time was while installing Videostone and the second time now is while I was trying to uninstall Appstore Patch for 2.0/2.01. The installation stopped suddenly and the screen froze on the spinning wheel on both instances. Then while I tried to hard boot the phone (pressed the sleep/wake button and home button till the iphone switches off) the phone just refuses to start at gets stuck on the boot-up logo. I again have to pwn using a custom firmware and I end up loosing all my data. I am sick of this and need to know whats happening.
Earlier today, while my tour was charging it randomly rebooted itself, but it wouldn't boot all the way - the load screen froze about 2/3 of the way through and then didn't do anything (for like 15 minutes) I did both a hard and soft reset, but the phone still won't boot past that point. Because it won't boot, I can't connect it to the computer to reinstall the OS or anything.
I plugged my Motorola Razr into the USB to charge, and it is now stuck on the 'dual core technology' boot screen. The device was already powered on, but when I plugged it in, the screen went black and it started to turn on and paused here. I have tried holding the power button and plugging it in and unplugging it, but nothing happens?
My Zylo's screen is now blank?! I've taken the battery out and re-booted after a few minutes - the usual log on and graphics appear but then the screen goes blank instead of showing the usual main menu.
I can't get my phone to start up. It is hanging at the Sony Ericsson screen with the black background. My big problem is that Three claim that it has water damage (it hasn't) and probably won't let me send it back to them to get it reflashed (I've no idea what this means but it solved a similar problem in the past). Furthermore, I can't get my computer to recognize the phone when I connect it. Is this the end?
I have a spare K800i that I use every now and again and today I switched it on and it went to a white screen and stayed like that for 10 mins, it wouldn't let me switch it off either so I had to remove the battery now it wont even power up. Is there any way of fixing this or do i have to throw it out.
My girlfriend has one of the above, having a few problems with it (randomly freezing/turning off/won't startup when turned on etc.). She's never done any updates of the software at all, so I took the opportunity to backup all her contacts etc. and then master reset, to which I was then going to install the latest updates.
That, was at least the plan. The reality is 2 hours into the 'master reset' we're still stuck on the 'please wait' phase and the phone is doing nothing, literally nothing. It's had the battery off the back, and it will restart back to exactly the same place of 'please wait' then do nothing.
I am stuck at the Apple screen when I rebooted and when my wifi comes up, I can ssh into the device and do "killall SpringBoard" and it will respring and then start to work but what is wrong and how can I fix it?I didn't install any new apps since the last reboot and I have reinstalled winterboard so I am not sure what the issue is.
I got this Samsung U600 on Ebay and it was loading to the Ultra Edition II screen. Since this is not a US phone Samsung US won't fix it. I had to call UK and they gave me somebody like K&N Logistics but I haven't called them as I am trying to fix it myself. I flashed the phone using the Opti software and now I get the "SGH-U600" and the beginning and it won't go anywhere else. It just stays there. Prior to flashing it still wasn't working but atleast I was able to startup and use the USB cable to flash but apparently looking on the net this happened before and they were suggesting some tools that really I don't want to buy just to fix this phone.
I was recently using my LG Prada phone (ke850) and when I turned it on, it was stuck on the logo boot up screen, and just stays there, even if i take out the battery and restart it. I wonder if anyone had this happen, and if there is a way of fixing it w/o sending it away.
I tried to jailbreak my phone using quickpwn for mac and now my phone is stuck on the apple load screen and will not start up. I am running firmware 2.2 and i followed these instructions to the http://www.iphonehacks.com/2009/01/j...-mac.html#more I was able to put my phone into dfu mode and on the iphone it showed that it was flashing the new files. But after my iphone tried to restart automatically, it has been stuck on the load screen ever since.
I wanted to root my galaxy s2, i followed the instructions up till the point where i flash with odin with an insecure kernel, after reboot , the phone is now stuck on the samsung boot screen.I cant even boot into recovery modem.
We have an airave and whenever I leave the house or come back home I have to turn the phone off and then restart to get it to connect either to the airave or an outside tower so the dc will work again. I got home, turned the phone off and left it off for a couple of minutes. Turned it back on and it's been stuck on the black screen with the red motorola icon for about 8 minutes. Is there a force-shut down?
I did a factory data reset on my phone through the settings menu. The phone rebooted, but will only cycle through the Droid boot up animation. I let it go for about twenty minutes. The phone will not let me use the power button to shut it down. The only way to turn it off is to pull the battery. The phone had no problems before this.
I let my phone's battery run out, after plugging it in the the charger for about two minutes, i turned it back on, and my phone has been stuck on the AT&T Rethink Possible boot screen. I have done a batter pull, and still nothing
i bought this KRZR k1 in may2007 unlocked since i was gonna use it in Europe, it worked great

Here are my problems i charged phone with wall charger and turned it on all i get is a black screen with this on it....
my iphone was working just fine. it is jailbroken on 3.1.2 with blackra1n.sent a text, put the phone back in my pocket. when i took it back out it was stuck in the boot screen with the status icon stuck half full.whenever i turn off and then back on it does the same thing.itunes wont recognize the device.
I've got a brand new Curve 9300 less than a week ago. I've updated it's OS to version 6, and it worked perfectly. When I attempted to configure my email, it automatically asked to update with my carrier's email setup software. I just chose ok. I got three warning messages, which I don't exactly remember but it was about something may not function correctly (regarding to version difference). I just continued installation, and it asked for a reboot. When I rebooted the mobile, it goot stuck at the boot screen. Then nothing! The thin status bar bellow BlackBerry's logo fills up until it's full, then nothing happens. When I wait for longer time (a few minutes), I get a message on a white screen with a tiny font with "App Error 606", with one option of 'RESET'. I pulled out the battery and restored it a few times, nothing different. Notes:The LED does not do anything, except for a single red blink when it rebootsThe keboard seems to be responsive. I get the Alt and Shift indicators in the top right corner when I press themThe power button doens't seem to cause
Yesterday was my first day trying to use my new E7 as my primary phone. I am having a major problem where the phone is stuck at the white nokia log boot screen and it keeps restarting.
In the days before, I updated from the original 13.x firmware to 14.002 though the ovi suite. After about an hour of usage yesterday, I opened the on phone ovi store application and it said an update was required before I could use it, so I let it update OTA. After the update, I opened the application and tried to get Angry Birds Free. The download started, then I pressed an in app button to do something else in the mean time and the phone froze up during the screen transition. Restarted with 8 second power cycle. Back into the ovi store to continue the download, this time the phone restarted on its own halfway through the download. Back into the ovi store a 3rd time to continue the download, phone froze up. Restarted with 8 second power cycle. Wouldn't get past the boot screen.
Yesterday I was able to get the phone to connect to my computer and I attempted to reinstall 14.002 firmware 2x, which seemed to work but I was still stuck. I was able to call Nokia Customer Care and the support person tried some of the same things I did. Then without a sim card in the device we connected to my computer, tried to reinstall firmware, it complained about no sim card. I put an old non-working sim in the device and the home screen came up all of a sudden. So it appeared to be fixed.
I'm back to the same issue today, only now my computer won't connect to the phone. I've tried 10 times. Once it connected but only as a storage drive, not to Ovi Suite.
I've been having some problems with my k810 and was informed to attempted a master reset as a solution. This then produced a "please wait" screen. I came back 3 hours later and it was still there. I powered it down and removed the battery. After reinsertion and powered it back on and the please wait screen reappeared. Hopeful that the process would resume or restart. I left it alone for another 3-5 hours. When I returned the screen was still there. I don't think that the reset has been completed as this morning my alarm went off but after I disabled the alarm it reverted to that darn screen.
