Xperia X10 :: Get Rid Of The Language Option On The Message Screen?
Sep 29, 2010Is it possible to get rid of the language option on the message screen? It's too easy to touch and I do NOT want to send messages in Bosnian!!

BB Curve 8500 :: Typing Language Greek - Have To Change Language Each Time Writing Message / How To Fix
Aug 20, 2010I have chosen English for the main language and Greek for typing language,but I cannot read sent or received SMS although they are sent and read properly by the recipients.When I turn typung language into English I can read the messages but still with problems...in that case I have to change language each time i m writing a message.That seems to be a problem.Does anybody knows anything about that?

Sep 19, 2010Every time I compose a message and start typing a bar pops up at the bottom of my screen with the current language on the left and a x on the right to close it. I hit this to close it and get it out of the way but the moment I start typing again its there! I dont find since I have had the phone any use for this annoying pop up so, Is there any way of stopping it?

Actually I only have English and others, but not Spanish for menus and writing. Is there an option? Also, when I turn on the radio I found an issue. If you save the station the RDS option will not work because the station name is showed instead of the RDS information, is there a way to avoid this?

1. slide finger towards right to unlock
2. slide finger towards left to silent phone
The issue is that phone gets silent without the intention to do so. Is there any setting by which I can disable this Silent functionality?

This new Xperio neo V, when you start PC companion does not offer this, only Support Zone, Contacts Setup, Media Go, Sync Zone and File Manager. What has happened to the 'Internet Connect' option? This was very useful for connecting a PC to the internet.

Nov 24, 2011My Xperia X10 mini got switched off automatically and since then it is showing that "sorry, the process com.android.phone has stopped unexpectedly, with an option tab for 'Force close'." And since then it is not rceiving or sending any signal. It is also not getting connected to the PC. My repeated attempts by switching it OFF-on have yielded no results. That sorry window doesnot allow me to access anything in the mobile but for some duration of milliseconds when it is force closed with the option tab.

Oct 28, 2011I got the official 2.3.4 upgrade from the PC companion and am very happy with it. Part of the changes seems to be that I get new message notifications in the middle of my lock screen (meaning I press the power button and my screen goes from blank to the lock screen, and in the middle of that is a notification that says I have "New messages:1" with a envelope icon beside it. I've checked sms, email, whatsapp, skype, handcent, etc etc and I cant find any messages that are new. The notification bar is empty. I've also tried sending myself a message to see if it will clear, but it wont. I'd previously cancelled voice mail on the carrier side too.

Jan 27, 2010I've recently bought a nokia E72 after losing my E71 and I'm really disappointed with this mobile phone. I share most of the problems shared by most of the users. Messy software, awful sound, horrible build quality with lights comig from everywhere. But lately I found another problem with my mobile. When I create a new message, in the messaging menu, I don't have the option to create a MMS message. All the options I have are ''message (sms) / audio message / avatar sms / e-mail''. No signs of MMS creation option. I tried to uninstall the ''avatar sms'' software to check if the MMS menu would appear but still nothing. I've check the MMS settings and all the settings are ok, but still nothing in the messagin menu to create a MMS.

Example, now I set my phone language as English then my map shown in English else set phone language to Thai then map will show in Thai.

Both are connected to my apple ID account and whatnot with iCloud turned on on both, my iPhone is updated with IOS 8.1.1 and have Send as SMS on. Sep 12, 2012This is my first Blackberry. It's a Curve 9320. I switched it on, and it comes up with Device Language Selection Screen with English (US) and a down arrow, and an OK box. Nothing I've tried gets me past this screen. I would prefer UK English, but either English would do if I could use the phone! The paperwork that came with the phone seems to assume you know how to use it. Searching the Blackberry site hasn't come up with anything useful.
