I recently updated my X10 to the 2.3 version (Gingerbread) earlier this week, but doing so has brought along a problem. Ever since I have updated i cant get into my SD card on the Phone, or when I run PC companion. I have to slots here at home for me to test the card, but it was working absolutely fine until the update, honestly it was seconds afterwards it stopped working.

View 7 Replies View Relatedi updated my cliq2 system to 1.1.30 yesterday.But mobile can't read the SD card.I have two SD cards.One is the original 2G sd card,the other is kingston 8G sd card i bought previously.
I am sure of the 2 SD card is OK.i can use them in my PC.And i tried them in my friend's phone.They can work too.Then i formated them.But still can't be read in my 1.1.30 Cliq2.
Now i set my Cliq2 back to the 1.0.23 system again.phone can read SD card right.
In Contacts, at the top above "My number" it says "Cannot read SIM card". I got a new SIM card in case the old one was faulty but it's just the same. Rest of phone seems to work OK, including Contacts I've added.

So i would like to buy a 64GB micro card but if the phone cannot read/write for example 90 mb/s I would rather not buy that fast card.

In fact, it doesn't even ask me for my PIN number, it just boots as normal but I have no connection to any network. I've tried using the SIM card in another phone and it works fine, therefore the problem is with the phone itself.I'd recently had my phone network & bootloader unlocked by wotanserver using the test point method - because of this I thought the DRM keys would be fine (e.g. TrackId & Timescape still worked). However, when I was updating from GB .42 to .62 OTA (to flash a GB ROM) my phone brickedSo, I searched high and low for a solution and ended up using s1tool to restore the locked bootloader. Then I used flashtool to flash a stock ICS ftf file. It seemed to work (the phone rebooted) but it was then I noticed that the SIM card wasn't being recognised. Also, in the Flashtool log I noticed that a blue line was there saying 'this file is ignored simlock.ta'I've tried everything I can think of to fix this.

I did not know my media files were saved on my SD card. I thought they were saved on my device.
In the options, under Memory, it says Media Card cannot be read. Verify that the memory card has been formatted.
First I took the memory SD mini card 8G out and put it back in.
Still same message.
So then I went to Format and formatted it...as it asked me to do.
Error message came up. Saying Format Failed.
However all my files are gone.
I am so mad that my blackberry told me to ensure it was formatted. Everything is gone off my BB.
Is there a way to recover this data?
I haven't backed up my BB before.
All of a sudden I can no longer read the text of my incoming mail, however if I click to reply I can read text then

My Xperia Z3 Dual with KitKat had 2 buttons on the dialer app, one for dialing with SIM#1 and one for dialing with SIM#2. Now with the Lollipop update the dialer app no longer has this 2 buttons, and when I dial a number and then tap on the "send/dial" button it does not ask me to choose the SIM I want to use, it automatically uses SIM#2.

When I tap on a contact a pop-up window ask me to choose the SIM card, but when I dial from the T9 pad this doesn't happen, it directly uses SIM#2.
The phone pairs and connects but when calling using the car handsfree nothing happens and I cannot receive calls. When this happens the car radio controls freeze and I have to switch the radio off and then on again. It all used to work fine before under 1.6. Trouble is I've got a long 18 months left on contract using the X10 mini which I now regret buying after being talked into it at the Phones 4 U shop. I've tried my ancient SE K700i and it works perfectly, so it's not the car.

The vutual sticks now seems to have stopped working, games don't even register they are there. Also the screen is playing up too, when it screen closes down, no matter how hard I press power button screen hardley ever comes in to life. Sometimes I can swip to unlock and can feel the phone vibrate as if something happaning but screen never comes alive. I now have to remove battery to restart.
I've tried doing a complet re load and took everything back to default but nothing.
I'm getting near the end of my tether, as I don't want to ahve to send my phone off for 2 weeks as I've got no replacement! Stupidly I sold my old phone.
I have a 32gb SD card from my Galaxy S4. The V10 will not read it. Lady at AT&T says Samsung & LG don't recognize same stuff on the card. I don't wanna lose what I have on my SD. How do I get my V10 to read the files? Also I'm waiting on the 200 gig card.

I bought a great at&t 9700 today which i tested before i paid for. I got home and noticed the sim card was tough to get in and i forced it. Doing this broke a contact point off in the sim socket giving initialization failed message. I took the phone apart trying to come up with a fix of my own...... no success
-what are my options? i cannot find the main board and the socket is integrated unlike other blackberry models.
-can i buy the main board?
I broke the 2 of 4 metal inside my BB 9900 sim card holder, so it does not read my SIM-card anymore .

Thought i could live with it. but can't. You can't have any music, video content etc. My first blackberry died in a pint of guiness (don't ask), i took the sd card out before the insurance claim and had my fingers crossed that it would have survived the black death, but when my new replacement BB came it couldn't read the card. which i thought was down to the black stuff - initially.However since then i've tried different cards leaving me to believe i may still have the data on the original and that the phone or card reader is cream-crackered?
View 6 Replies View RelatedI've had my Blackberry Torch for a few months and it used to flash "Media Card Inserted/Removed" constantly (alternating between the two) untill I would just take it out and give up. Now it has got to the point where it won't read any memory cards at all. I recently posted about this and was told to format the card in my PC then in my phone, which worked great for a few hours then it flashed "Media Card Removed" and was not recognised at all after that. Now when I repeat the format procedure (in PC then in phone) it recognises it for about 10 seconds then says its removed. The media card slot doesn't appear to be damaged or loose.
