I have had the phone about a month now been working fine until today, it wont even turn on. the battery was half full and it just turned off and now wont turn back on well it tries to it vibrates! and that's it.

My battery used to fail on me at 15% and later on sometimes even at 30+% (After 8+ hours stand-by/usage). But since a few days (also after updating to iOS8) it just dies after 3 hours and sometimes it indicates it has about 70% left. The fact it only gets worse makes me think it's the battery. It's slowly dying.
But updating to iOS8 seems to have made it worse. So it could also be a software problem.Is it worth the try to change to a new battery first before restoring the iphone etc.?When I plug it in to charge it has the same % as when it died.

my BB curve 8520 just shut off by itself and the battery was half full.i took it out to reboot it the red lite went on and the down load bar stuck half way to the end and froze.

Is it normal to drain 18% in 1 and a half hour with constantly use (radio, messenger, and 1-2 more apps) lowest brightness .. Im always thinking its draining too fast.
View 5 Replies View RelatedSometimes - not always - when I connect my phone to any Bluetooth audio device the Bluetooth volume (by design I believe) drops to half volume. When I hit the Volume Up button the bar will move up in a weird, sporatic way and never actually get louder, however it will eventually show full volume. Sometimes when I hit the Volume Down button it'll shoot all the way back down to half volume with one button press and I can then press Volume Up again to actually turn up the sound. Most other times it will shoot down to the bottom and never change volume until it's completely muted - so it'll jump from 50% volume to silent right at the end.
It doesn't happen every time - just about once every 10 or so times. This has happened to me with two different RAZR Maxx phones and I've seen my roommates RAZR do the same thing on a couple different Bluetooth devices.
I'm hoping the ICS update will fix it but the bug made it through the last OTA update.
I am having a major problem with my Xeparia Ray, the battery dies even when the phone is turned off and not in use. This is on top of the very short battery life I get.I was wondering whether anyone else had suffered with the dying battery whilst turned off problem. If you have did you find a solution to it. Unless I am using the function I turn off wifi, bluetooth, gps etc.I love the Android system and the compact format of the Ray, but I am getting very close it hitting the phone with a very big hammer and switch back to Samsung.

It just keeps repeating the same process over & over again. This happened when I was using an app. The app lagged and it restarted and now it keeps restarting. My stock Xperia Neo, running gingerbread (Received all updates from sony) has following issues. The battery runs out of juice rapidly (3 - 4 hours). Even when I turn the phone OFF (not idle) it drains completely to a point where it does not want to power on anymore. Also the battery wont always charge, and when it charges the phone (not the battery) gets really hot (the part where cpu is located).
I thought the battery had given up after 1 year; So I ordered a brand new battery. When I received this new battery, the phone restarted. But this new battery faced all the same problems. Phone running hot, battery draining really quick (withing 3-4 hours idle, wifi and data turned off). And when the phones powers off due to the battery being completely empty, it does not restart any more and it does not charge anymore.
His text message gets interrupted halfway through by an old message he sent before (be it a previous message from a few minutes ago or from weeks ago!) It only happens with texts from him, no-one else. I've tried deleting our conversation but it makes no difference. It's getting so frustrating cos I have to keep asking him to text me again and a lot of the time I just get another 'cracked' text!
View 9 Replies View Relatedi have a blackberry bold 9700 v 5.0.0.862 ( bundle 1446, platform 5.1.0.175 I fully charged my battery monday night, unplugged it before going to sleep.When i woke up the phone was turned off, when i turned on i got a white screen with a battery with a red line through it but no blackberry loading screen.I didn't know what was wrong so i plugged phone in to charge a bit. when there was no change i unplugged it and held the power button. After many many many attempts to turn it back on finally i got the BB loading screen.The battery had full power when I finally got it turned back on.I used the phone throughout the day but come suppertime the battery was still full so i went to a friends. Halfway through dinner the phone displayed " BATTERY DRAINED TURNING OFF HANDHELD " .
Got home plugged in, turned back on and battery was 50%. I charged it to 100% and unplugged it before going to sleep. Woke up this morning to ringing phone i answered it had the chance to say hello then it displayed " BATTERY DRAINED TURNING OFF HANDHELD " !!! Went to turn back on got the battery screen again , finally after an hour or more of trying to turn back on it finally loaded and guess what?? THE BATTERY IS SITTING AT 100%!!I don't know what's going on but my phone keeps saying the battery is drained and the phone turns off but the battery is still full.

Since installing the 5.1.1 update my battery life has been dramitically reduced. Chragring time has also increased which confirms the update is carring extra luggage. I had 5.1.0 running about a day and a half before needing a charge. Now its holding a full charge about 4-5 hours before it shuts down.

The bottom half of the display is less bright than the upper half.
It came into contact with water but not in a high amount, about five drops hit the iphone and I dried them imminently away.

Below is a screen shot from my Maxx. I don't know if the screen consumption is ordinary, but I am surprised that the screen alone is causing substantially more than half of the battery drain. I have the brightness set on auto, and I turn the screen off every time after I finish using the phone. Is this consumption normal?

The problem is that: While charging ONLY the Battery gets too much HOT and it never shows Battery is Full (Charged it for Max 1 Hour 45 Minutes) This problem suddenly appeared, so I formatted the Memory Card as well as Hard Format/Reset the Phone, but still the Battery is heating too much
After disconnecting the Phone from Charger, the Battery is FULL and I can use it without any problem and as usual. The Talktime right now is around 2.5 Hours and Standby time is around 2-3 Days
Uhmm From holding my phone to portrait position, then to landscape after i click the camera it started but kinda half, half is what is in from of the lens*caputuring,but other 1/4 half isnt camera its just a black blank part, then later the camera become whole screen.is this alright?? sory no idea,noob if this is alright to the phone.

Since updating to iOS 5.1.1 I have had battery problems, discharging at around 4% per hour even when not used. Turning off every concieveable service and reloaded iOS as a new device unfortunately has not solved the problem. I have resorted to leaving the phone plugged in all of the time and recently started to turn it off overnight. To my surprise, the phone continues to discharge when turned off!
