I have an 8gig micro sd card and none of my contacts, photos, songs or anything will save to it, they save to the phone instead and I don't know how to change it.I would just jst the usb but my computer doesn't recoginse the phone on my computer either.

View 4 Replies View RelatedSince the Update to ICS the ringtone settings of my neoV (SI: 1254-4760) has been behaving odd: I usually set my phone to vibration only, but once the phone has been used for media playback or as alarm (using the app Alarm Droid), the ringtone setting changes to sound activated without any input from the user to do so. In previous versions the media volume was separated from ringtone volume. I see 3 possible reasons for this behavior: I need to change a setting. The volume management has been changed for ICS.

1. battery saving settings...not just "make sure to turn off unused apps". I mean "go to menu options and select..." .
2. internet browsing settings...similar to above, but geared toward browser settings.
I'm working on an EnV Touch trying to get the EVDO to function correctly on it. I have USCC, but I don't think that's the problem Under Data, there's the HA(A12) user id and password, and its supposed to look like this (from what I've read): XxXxXxXx@uscc.net (x's being the pESN).I set that up and click write, but it instead shows up as XxXxXxXxXxscc.net (x's being my phone number, and yes, it is missing the @u part.) It doesn't matter how many times I write it to the phone, it just doesn't save.
I'm doing the editing with my phone powered on... could that be the issue? All the other settings wrote fine with my phone powered on.
why does my C3 -01 keep changing some settings by itself? I have it set to always ask before connecting to the internet because I dont want to run up huge bills but I often fint it has reverted to connect when required ! (I have never knowinyly connected to the internet other than by wifi) I sthere any way I can permanently disable the phones ability to connect via the network?

Things like screen brightness, tone volume and even the type of ring tone for calls & notifications will change. I use a lock screen so accidental button pushing is not the reason.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI've looked around on the net but have not been able to find a solution to this problem.Using an N8 (on Nokia Belle), the WLAN settings does not seem to provide any place to specify the username and password for a proxy based network (Note:this is not the pre-shared key for the WLAN, but the username and password asked by the proxy server). When the browser is used, it prompts for the username and password and then works. However other applications cannot connect to this network as they seemingly lack this feature and the phone does not make this globally available.Nokia Configuration Tool (NCT) 6.3 seems to allow placement of username and password values. When configuration is transferred back to phone, NCT shows successfully configured, but this does not seem to be the case when the settings are used by the phone.
View 9 Replies View RelatedI am hoping to get some help with a problem I am having with my Virgin Mobile LG Rumor 2.I have found a great website that will allow me to download programs directly to my phone that you cant get on Virgin Mobile's store (Go to http://www.getjar.com)Now, I have down loaded various programs for MSN and Facebook chatting, RSS Programs, however, it seems virgin mobile has restricted 3rd party access to the internet. The programs install fine, they run but as soon as they ask for access to the internet....the program comes to an abrupt halt.
I have heard that giving access through Bitpim is possible, however, bitpim does not fully support the Rumor 2 (see it as CDMA Other). Is there anyway to let 3rd party programs access to the internet on the LG Rumor 2? Is there any "secret access" to the phone that would allow me to change some type od settings?I like the Rumor 2 but am pulling my hair out trying to figure a way to let the programs access the net.
I have the 200MB plan and use the internet when I am ONLY on WiFi networks. However, while exploring 2.2, I recall seeing a setting that, if the WiFi connection drops, the new setting stops the Bravo from using the 3G. If the Bravo changed over to 3G to maintain the internet connection (apparently the default setting), massive data charges would be incurred. I have tried to re-discover this setting but no success to date. Any way to use / change this "WiFi to 3G" setting?

I did set the alarm with google now, but around 8 o'clock i also checked the Alarm and Clock app and verified the correct alarm time was set and turned on. Then the alarm went off at 0830. It was a one time alarm and no other alarms were set.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have used Sony Ericsson phones for years and all my previous phones have had a feature on the camera whereby you could zoom in on a photograph you've taken, and then save the zoomed/close-up image as a seperate photograph.
If this feature exists on the Mini Pro, I certainly can't find it. I took a photo with the camera of something quite far away. The camera will let me zoom in on the bit of the image I want to see, and will allow me to view it, but I want to save the zoomed image. The far-away image is useless to me.
I have been downloading games and apps and they are saved on my phone memory and now the phone memory is full when the sd card ( memory card) is empty . So is there a way I can get my x8 to install stuff on sd card or a way I can move them there?? Oh and im using Android 2.1.

After selecting "save photos to SD card by default" option in camera setting, I took pictures and it gave a message "Memory Error" and the pictures weren't saved on SD card.
