LG :: LGNPST Not Saving Settings?

I'm working on an EnV Touch trying to get the EVDO to function correctly on it. I have USCC, but I don't think that's the problem Under Data, there's the HA(A12) user id and password, and its supposed to look like this (from what I've read): XxXxXxXx@uscc.net (x's being the pESN).I set that up and click write, but it instead shows up as XxXxXxXxXxscc.net (x's being my phone number, and yes, it is missing the @u part.) It doesn't matter how many times I write it to the phone, it just doesn't save.
I'm doing the editing with my phone powered on... could that be the issue? All the other settings wrote fine with my phone powered on.

While browsing I have stumbled on two sets of settings, that i can't find any more:
1. battery saving settings...not just "make sure to turn off unused apps". I mean "go to menu options and select..." .
2. internet browsing settings...similar to above, but geared toward browser settings.

When you update your firmware using LGNPST, you actually run a script file.(The file name ends in .scr)What is the language that these scripts are written in, and does anyone have a basic guide to follow?It is not the same scripting that is used on QXDM, although some of the commands are similar. Normally, when you flash the phone to another carrier, you will lose the Media Player, and Navigator... etc. It is possible to keep these apps, but you must program the phone through the script.
I've been working on the Voyager scripts, and I can fix alot of the issues that are common. MMS, WEB, Media Player, Navigator, Etc. Problem is that my script errors out at 65% completed. Cant figure out where the faulty line is either.

I have an 8gig micro sd card and none of my contacts, photos, songs or anything will save to it, they save to the phone instead and I don't know how to change it.I would just jst the usb but my computer doesn't recoginse the phone on my computer either.

Every time I choose a scene mode and go back to manual mode the settings gets reset. (i.e. focus mode, ISO, metering mode.) It is annoying to set it everytime. Why can't the app remember my settings.

My E72 light time out is currently set to 5 seconds, I have tried everything to change this to a longer period, but all i get is a message telling me that it is unable to change, due to power saving mode active.

I've looked around on the net but have not been able to find a solution to this problem.Using an N8 (on Nokia Belle), the WLAN settings does not seem to provide any place to specify the username and password for a proxy based network (Note:this is not the pre-shared key for the WLAN, but the username and password asked by the proxy server). When the browser is used, it prompts for the username and password and then works. However other applications cannot connect to this network as they seemingly lack this feature and the phone does not make this globally available.Nokia Configuration Tool (NCT) 6.3 seems to allow placement of username and password values. When configuration is transferred back to phone, NCT shows successfully configured, but this does not seem to be the case when the settings are used by the phone.

In the "message settings' option menu, "e-mail settings" isn't available. I have managed to set up several email accounts by simply going into the 'email" option in the "messaging" menu, but I can't set the phone to check for emails automatically or to notify me of new emails, etc, etc, in other words, I have no menu option, for adjusting the settings for emails. I am running the latest version of the software
version 10.60.

There is no "Voicemail settings" in the "Call settings" section. It seems like a first page of Call settings is missing because at the top of the list it says "Call settings", then immediately under that it says "Other call settings".

my laptop crashed which meant everything had to be reinstalled losing lots of data including PC inbox. However I have all of this data in my blackberry handset (Torch 9800), any advice on how I may be able to pull all my emails into my outlook. I am not bothered about contacts, calendar to tasks but really need to access the emails.

Updated my phone last night... never had a problem sending screenshots over text before.... now all my friends aren't getting my screen shots and are receiving error messages "the image is not supported and was deleted". Why is this happening and how do I fix it. My friend said it might be because my phone saves it in something other than JPG... if so...why. why was it working before and now its not.... Thinking of switching back to apple...

I think I'm going a bit crackers, I have a Blackberry Storm 9500 on Vodafone PAYG, and cannot for the life of me work out how to save a contact from a new SMS. I tend to give out my number, people text it so I have theirs, but saving them as a contact from the initial text is proving impossible.
I have tried C&P, doesn't work on anything other than the text fields within the messages themselves, so if they don't type their numbers in the actual text, I can't save them. There is no option to save them in the Blackberry button menu, just to call or SMS them. There is nothing at the top of the conversation that is "clickable", there is just the little person icon and the number, clicking either does nothing, it doesn't select. Same with the number at the beginning of each subsequent text from them - doesn't select, can't use the highlight/copy function on them.
I know there is the long way round, to write the number down then input them but this seems like such a basic function there must be a way to do it directly? If not I think this along with the other function issues (short battery life, regular freezing, low grade MP3 player functions) are going to make me swap it for something else. Shame as I still think the click touch screen phone is ideal for me personally.

So I got my Verizon m8 today and went through the setup process. Everything seemed to be going well until I restarted the phone. Upon reboot I noticed I was no longer connected to wifi. I connected again and rebooted again. Same thing. I've tried everything I can think of, including a hard reset, and still it refuses to remember my wifi password?
OK, just found out that it's related to password length. My wifi password is 63 characters in length. As a test, I reduced it to 9 characters and it then remembered it after reboot. How long it can be and continue to work?

when I try save my pics off my HTC One to my PC, they are stored on the phone in a 'thumbnail' folder no. Once I transfer them to the PC, I cannot zoom in on them at all as they lose all clarity completely. I can only imagine that the problem is the phone somehow saving the pics as thumnails rather than as they used to save.The pics used to store in DCIM/100media.They now appear to save in DCIM/thumbnails.

Saving to my internal memory works fine. Saving to the SD card receives a "Media not Found" error message and no photo is saved. I can view and use all other photos and apps that are saved on my SD card, so it is loaded correctly.

I have a LG SHINE TU720 phone, its pretty old and i just have a quick question. It used to be proper, everything working but recently whenevr i take a picture it saves it, but its nowhere to be found in the phone or the memory card. I have the primary storage set to memory card. It used to save the pictures taken in the memory card and i could edit them and stuff. However, now all the pictures that i took frm this phone that were saved on the memory card are all gone. Cant find them anymore? And i cant find any of the new ones either that i take. Can anyone help me out with this.I had pictures from my old Motorola that broke that were saved on the memory card. I could see them fine on the LG but cant see any of the pictures i took or take with the LG phone...

I took a bunch of photos with my iPhone 4S when I first got it in January using HDR. I could have sworn it took 4 photos each time and I was able to pick the best. Great photos by the way. After I upgraded to iOS 5.1, now I just get two. Is this something Apple has changed or maybe there's something wrong with my camera? I read somewhere that the iPhone would take a minumum of at least three. All I get is two now?

I have the current version of iOS on an iPhone 3G. In Mail when I click on an email address I have the option to create a new contact. I click to create the new contact. I go in my Contacts and the eddress isn't there. Is this is known problem? It seems to have not been working for quite a while. Very annoying.

My stocks app is not saving changes no matter what changes I make. After making a change, I'll exit the app, re-enter and it defaults back to a whole bunch of stuff I didn't add.

My phone reset itself and I lost all my contacts, so I started adding a few which worked OK, but now when I try to add and link to facebook and save contacts it appears to work (saving via the messages screen or via people) but if I exit out of people or messages then go back in the contact disappears.

Is there any way of saving web pages to a file on the N97?Most browsers that I know have this functionality, but not the Nokia browser. I installed the Opera browser, which allows you to do this, but as it's impossible to change the default web browser on the N97, you can't use it to open links in messages.Saving as a bookmark isn't any good, as that only saves the URL, not the page.

So I used to have the 8900, and whenever I had a text message, I can just highlight it and click 'save', and it would save a copy of it in a folder, which means I can delete the one I got. For some reason, with OS 5.0, I do not have that option anymore. I went to the SMS option and had it saved to an SD card, but doesn't work.

When receiving a new call from a new number (with caller ID, this number is not in my contact list), I can see both the name and number displayed, if i go to Add to Contacts, only the number gets copied over, and i have to manually type in this name (came displayed thru caller ID), is there any ways to get this default name copied over every time when I add a person so I don't have to type it in? A side question, numbers broken down to ### ### #### with spaces that are saved in contacts still will work with calls, but when receiving text messages my phone wont recognize it was already in my contacts(as in, it will show the text is from a number instead of the name I saved in my contact list). because text message numbers come with +1######### format.
