Nokia :: Email Not Updating Properly
Aug 1, 2010I have had a problem with the email not updating properly.It only seems to pull in the emails when I connect to the internet. When I first connect, I get a the email messages coming through. If I stay connected, I don't get anymore emails.It used to always alert me when I got a new email, but now nothing happens. I have checked the settings and it says that it should automatically update every 5 mins. Even if I press send/recieve and I know I have an email that should be there, nothing shows.

Nov 23, 2015I received the latest lollipop update and have since not been able to update my emails without turning my phone off and back on. Sometimes it will work for about 8 hours and then it stops working again. I have deleted and reinstalled the standard email app, cleared caches, and dumped all downloaded apps as well as starting in safe mode, debug mode. I am hesitant to factory reset, but will if there is no other option. Verizon is my carrier.

Apr 17, 2012 as I said above the E-mail hasn't been able to stop updating itself and it's depleting my battery quicker than usual. I've tried turning off the push option and turned the iPhone off and on several times. It still does the updating on its own.

After that I brought my device to BB centre in Indonesia ,upgraded my OS and they warned me I'll lose all the data inside my device, which is okay because I have my data backed up before After that they upgraded my device to version 5.0 bundle 1728.After finish restoring my data, I try to set my email (yahoo email account), and it prompt me to input a password... which I forgot what my password is (doh!).Then after that using my laptop, I reset my yahoo email account password, and set a new password. I'm surprised that when I try to set my email again it prompts me an error message : "Invalid email address or password. Verify your email address and password. If the error persists, contact [URL]"Same problem when I try to login using yahoo messenger on my device, or my blackberry internet browser.

Before the ICS update, they all worked fine on that schedule. After the ICS update, the corporate account still updates fine, but the other four do not. I changed them to update every half hour, but no change. They still do not update. If I go to the account and manually refresh it, it will download my emails.

But I am having difficulty accessing the email settings on my Torch so that I can tap in the new password. I then have to tap in my user name and password. I assume this refers to my blackberry username and password. But, when I delete an email from my iMac, my badge does not update on the Mail icon on my iPhone, unless I acually open mail on the iPhone. The iPhone acts like the Push function only works for receiving emails and not for deleting them from the iMac.Â
I have deleted my iCloud account on my iPhone and then reinstalled it, and that did not fix it. What can I do to fix the Push issue that I am having?Â

Dec 22, 2010my X10 crashes at random moment since I updated it to android 2.1. It happens while playing games, making a movie and today it happend while I was talking to my boss on the phone. Also, when it crashes, sometimes it keeps crashing just after booting. I already tried to remove the sd-card and see if that makes any difference, but it doesn't. Then I ran the update to android 2.1 through SEUS again to see if that makes any difference, but again, it doesn't. It still crashed while I was shooting a video.
