Jun 9, 2010I used to have no problem receiving and sending emails on my E63 but when I updated my Nokia software it wiped out all my settings and my email account. So I set up the email again (btinternet) but it will only receive, not send. I get a 'queued' notice on the email in the outbox and it will not send even if I try to send manually repeatedly. The incoming and outgoing mailserver is the same (mail.btinternet.com) and I can't see what else can be a problem.

Oct 27, 2010We recently moved a client of ours back in-house with an exchange server. There are about 5 users that use BlackBerry smartphones. All of the smartphones were configured and activated without issue and are working fine... except 1. This one particular phone cannot reply to messages (Gets the red "X"). It can however compose a new email and send without issue.I've tried deleting the Desktop CMIME service book and resending, to no avail Full wipe and reactivation, to no avail I used the sendastool to reconfigure send as permissions for this user and repeated the steps above, to no avail.I'm just puzzled at this point as to why this one phone cannot send reply emails (again, sending new is no issue!) Granted, i'm not on location and am not seeing exactly what the user is doing, but he has been using his blackberry for years and knows how to send email/reply, etc.

As of yesterday 1am, the 30 or so emails sent to my gmail haven't appeared on my Blackberry. If I try to send a message I get the standard 'packet error' message. I've googled for various solutions, but they all seem directed at users with older blackberries, so I haven't been able to use them.

However, I go to compose an email, and my phone tells me that "no message services are configured". That would be fine, if my email was not already set up, according to my blackberry. I tried going through the whole process again, and then it tells me that my email is already set up. But, it says I can only save a draft, not send, when I'm done.
I owned a pearl before this, but never used many of the features. I would like to be able to use more of them on this phone. I am a bit of an electrical gimp.
