How do I relock bootloader safely if I need to repair via SEUS? Would it be better for me to relock the bootloader then unlock properly via Sony? I did pay for the Da Vinci service, so I'm not in a rush to make a mistake! I'm planning ahead for the ICS update and just in case I want to reverse to 2.3.

i recently upgraded my x10i to android 2.1, everytime i press the power button to lock the screen it disconnect me from my network, no service message appears, so everytime i press the power button again to unlock the screen i have to enter my pincode and reconnect again, hence, i dont recieve any messages and calls whenever i lock the screen or when screen times out?

This is supposed to be easy: just use the RUUprogramme that can be found on htcdev.com. The problem is that all the versions of the RUU there require a LOWER version of the ROM. I have 2.26.401.3; no RUU seems to be working with this.

I also managed to install CWM at that time. When i tried installing a custom marshmallow rom i received several errors and decided i wanted to revert back. So i relocked the bootloader but now i have no os installed and if i try unlocking the bootloader again i get stuck on white screen with htc logo and purple letter at top entering recovery... After this screen i have to wait for the battery to die before i can do anything with the phone again (stuck)
I have tried flashing a different recovery file but i keep getting remote: signature verify fail. Without unlocking bootloader i cannot get anything to work. I have no working mobile phone atm.

that Moto continues to support the Photon, with ICS in development for Q4. However, there are community developers that could have a fully-complete, stable ICS build ready in a matter of WEEKS if Moto were kind enough to unlock our bootloader and provide us with a few updated drivers.Would it not be good customer service to provide users with this? Would it not improve customer loyalty? I am a big fan of Motorola devices, but I can see why people are being driven away by their locked-down nature. I implore you, Motorola, to please provide an official unlock tool and make available updated driver libraries and/or source code.

The device is a SM-920F, I made the OTA update to 5.1.1 upon powering it. Not sure what the bootloader and rom exact versions are, but I will add them to the post if necessary.

View 1 Replies View RelatedEach time I press the lock button or I hold the A key, the display automatically turns off and the phone is locked. I cannot check the time on the phone or see if I have any new messages without unlocking it, checking, then relocking it again.
This may seem really miniscule but on my old hanset when the phone was locked if you pressed and of the buttons on the keypad the screen would light up, not unlock, and i could check the time or whatever.

I didn't do anything to it but before the speaker would fuzz in and out of call and then it started doing that permanently. Afterwards my phone just started to lock and unlock several times before it ultimately locked me out even after I tried to press the unlock button. I tried pulling out the battery several times and it alleviates the symptoms for about 3 minutes and it goes right back to locking and unlocking again.
There is no sound while locking and unlocking the phone and even no sound while playing you tube. (i use iPhone 4S).

View 5 Replies View RelatedEvery time i end a call, i can see the phone is allways doing something else, like browsing the web, or opening the gps aplication. Last but not list, for several times and unexpectedly i hold the call, or i end it by mistake.
I'm sure this happens because i keep telling it to do it (with my face touching the screen, during the calls!!!)
The phone have those 3 physical buttons on the bottom, (the red one, the green one and the menu one) and lets face it, those are the same 3 buttons existing in all nokia non-touchscreen phones).
So, two questions:
a) With those 3 buttons, why do i need the touch screen during a call??
b) Is there any option or aplication or trick to automatically lock the screen on the moment i start a call (incoming or outgoing) and unlock it when i end the call?
I recently upgraded to a new BlackBerry Curve 9320 smartphone in about September 2012. Recently it is acting all faulty. It keeps locking and unlocking itself. The trackpad gets stuck and will not scroll but then will scroll in some apps or menus. Is it a software or hardware fault? What can I do to sort it out?

I thought the battery had died or become disconnected, so I pulled the battery, put it back in, and plugged it in to charge. I came back to my phone's screen going haywire. It's locking and unlocking itself repeatedly inside the time of a single second. The sensor that I've noticed sometimes gets blocked and turns the screen off is clear, the battery is fully charged, and the screen is unresponsive. Is there anything I can do, or am I out the cost of the phone?

Now, nobody seems to know of any solutions to this problem. I know it is the carriers that are at fault, but I just want to know if it is *possible* to unlock my bootloader. View 1 Replies View RelatedI have installed custom ROM of gingerbread v27 on my x8. I followed correctly all the guides and instruction and was able to succesfully run the custom ROM on my phone. All the requirements are met. (baseband is xxx015, and manuf. code is 11w28). After 1 week of succesful usage, suddenly a weird thing happens to my x8. When i tried to insert a different sim, it will reboot itself automatically and would do this cycle continually. If i removed the sim, it would just boot perfectly.
So i decided to factory reset my x8 on CWM and reinstall the custom ROM but the same thing happened after that.
Then i decided that i would relock bootloader and that made the whole thing worse. My x8 won't boot at all and won't even charge. If i connect it to my PC it would just stay under flash mode (green light goes on for 10 secs and the off for 5 secs and then recycled).
For some time I'm trying to make the process of unlockbootloader lamentablemnte this does not work, I'm doing in windows xp with PC Companion installed and operating adb follow all the steps but when Fastboot recognize that the phone is stuck and does not recognize this, I thought at first it was the virtual machine and how he was making the USB connection but probe in a native windows machine and not turned.
