Sony Ericsson :: SE Elm / Need Camera Clarity?

I bought a Sony Ericsson Elm on June 28, 2010. Some of the pictures taken by the camera have a red line (and sometimes another blue line can be seen) in the center. Does this depend on the lighting conditions? The line seems to appear whenever the focus is on a dark object and can also been slightly seen in lighter areas. The lines appear continuously while shooting a video. And also, when I was shooting a video the other day, the phone just froze after I stopped recording. I had to remove the battery manually in order to get the phone working. Is there some problem with my mobile or are there any adjustments to be made to make those red lines disappear from pictures?

When I'm using the front camera as it saves the actual image doesn't seem to be as clear as the imagine on the screen itself. Also when using it in certain lighting conditions it seems very grainy.

I bought Sony Xperia Z2 a few weeks ago.. im noticing that in the night when i take pictures ,specially portraits ,they r very blur & not upto the mark.. in the daylight camera works fine...but nights pics look very bad.. no sharpness n clarity at all .
Also i have noticed that the moment camera takes picture its pretty clear but after some processing for about few seconds the image looks very soft n blur. i have tried all the modes n scenes n 20mp shots also.

I just have bought a Nokia X2 mobile a week before. The main reason to buy that mobile is, 5.0 mega pixel camera and some new features which is not in other branded mobiles. After that, I was disappointed and shocked because of the camera is not having the clarity is equivalent to the 5 mega pixel. It seems like 1.x. I don't know Do I need to apply any settings or Is this a manufacturing defect?
Already done camera settings as the following.
Camera pixel : 5.0 mp.
Flash light : off
Even though, I'm capturing the photos with worst quality like darkness. I have attached an image which was taken using my mobile with worst quality (i.e. Nokia X2). I had good trust on Nokia branded mobiles.

I bought a Nokia 6700 slide mobile on the 26th of June, 2010. I had a great liking for this phone before buying it. The 5MP Carl Zeiss optics camera, ALS display and so many other features impressed me. But when I purchased this mobile for my birthday on June 26th, I was very much disappointed with the camera quality. Despite having a 5MP camera with Carl Zeiss lens, the pictures taken by the camera are of very poor clarity. The clarity is similar to a 1.3 MP camera and is worse when pictures are shot in any lighting condition. I had great hopes on this camera after reading so many good reviews from several websites. But, this camera is not on par with my expectations and has failed me. My Nokia 7210 Supernova mobile which I had earlier used to take pictures of excellent clarity.
Are there any adjustments to be made before taking a picture? I've used all modes specified in the Options but to no avail.

I updated my mini pro yesterday night. Overall response is fast.Camera application is looking weird with limited functions. The 2.3.4 version of camera application shoots better pictures than the updated camera application. Camera window opens and shows up the visuals as if they are zoomed in by default despite not using zoom in feature.I'm disappointed with this update of camera functions.

I'm looking for a new phone, preferably a Sony Ericsson. What's important to me is that I can use the WLAN at university and I can't find any information about that on the Internet. Can anybody tell me about SE solutions? Another aspect that matters to me is the camera, it does not need to replace a normal camera, but the photos should be of a certain quality. I'm quite satisfied with my k800i on this point, but the resolution could be a bit higher.

i bought my Aino for just 1month plus, and just yesterday, when trying to take a photo, I realised there is no "click" sound and when i proceed to take a 2nd photo, it hangs. only when i shut off and on the phone again, it goes back to normal, but after a while, when trying to take a photo again, the same thing happens and it hangs. does anyone have this problem? i called the sony erricssion call centre, but they just tell me to do a master reset everytime i ask them abt any problems, even when i encounter no ringing sound when sms comes in, the call centre aso tell me do a master reset.

My W760i camera will not open now. I press the shortcut button and I get the press 0 for help screen. After a few seconds the phone returns to the wallpaper, then goes back to sleep. I get the same message if I go through the tools menus.

I have just bought a used SE k850i and are very disappointed! I had a k750i before and were expecting a much better camera. The photos taken with the k850i are just grainy, grey and blurry! And I know how to fix settings and so on, and I have the latest firmware installed and everything. This is a photo i took today.And here is a photo I took with my K750.

Whats the deal with this? When I go from "taking picture" to "viewing pictures" to "filming" etc. the camera freezes in an in zoomed blurry picture. I left it to the store and they send it to service. I then got the answer it was unrepairable. A NEW phone was sent to me.

Got my Elm yesterday and assumed it would have a front camera for video calls, but to my surprise it DOESN'T?I read a review of the phone where it clearly DID have a front camera.So today I phoned up SE (alas, I noticed the way too low volume during calls) and they told me that you can only get the front camera version of Elm outside the "Nordic" countries. What's up with that? I'm so disappointed. Who needs video calling when the other part of the conversation can't se me?Any thoughts? I can return my Elm during the next 14 days, so I guess I'm asking if anybody knows of an online shop where I can get a front camera-enabled Elm?

The green heart family is just to make the people fool.Both hazel and elm has very bad camera...there are blue and red lines in picture and very sharp specialy in dark.I suggest every one NOT TO BUY THESE SCRAP HAZEL AND ELM.I am also facing camera problem like the others but sony ericsson is sleeping and not paying attention and providing no solution for it, main question is why they are not providing any solution for this problem, when every body is talking about this problem.I WILL NEVER BUY SONY ERICSSON ....I SWEAR........at the last , NOKIA IS BEST IN ALL WAY......i am uploading picture sample so that you could know what i am facing........

Recently my C905 phone camera does not save the picture taken even though on the screen stated saving after that it doesn't show the picture taken like it always do before. But the video mode it safe the clip taken. My memory card size 2G still not 50% full. Now I only can take video shot but not still picture. Phone call, sms, internet radio are in good condition. Whats wrong with my C905? Am I have to changed it with new NOKIA?

I have just bought C903 and noticed that there is something wrong with the camera, actually there is something like dust or missing pixels when I turn it on and they appear on every photo or video. They are visible only if zoomed or when I put them on my PC. I've tried to clean up the lens but nothing changed. I am really worried since it's not just 2-3 but hundreds. I am attaching a sample photo just as a reference.

My camera won't take any pictures. I click to take a picture makes the shutter noise and then just goes back to the menu and doesn't save the picture. I can take video perfectly fine but it isn't the quality of a regular still picture. I've downloaded and ran the Update Service and it hasn't done a thing to correct the issue of taking a picture.

My C901 camera doesn't work anymore. When I open the cam cover it just shows cyber-shot logo and goes back to the menu. can some body help me? This happened after I placed in a flash menu file. Placing the flash menu file was a success but when I used the camera it didn't work now. I just bought this. I tried removing the flash menu file, turned the phone on and off, made the latest update, and master reset.

I have read all the topics regarding modding of camera drivers.I tried every driver like best_pic_color_V8, witchkings cx v8.0, strong 1.5 beta, cyber-sHut v4.3 by pohuman , tough-shot and 3 more.All the drivers are very good and are efficient in giving good colors. Now i am interested to mod camera driver.So can anyone give me tutorials for developing code for camera driver.I am a starter in programming and i know basics in assembly and c and java.I think all the modders are writing codes depending on hardware.What i understand after editing the driver in notepad is that you are giving values and changing them for every mode (twilight,auto,document etc.)Even if it's time taking i want to learn these things and i am interested in it.So can anyone send me the link for tutorials.It will be a great help for me.

I have a 2 year old k850i phone which was never a perfect phone like my k800i but that I liked a lot. A few months ago the loudspeaker stopped working and then the screen just a few days ago. So I ordered a replacement for both things in ebay and I opened it to replace it. The ringer now works perfectly. The screen however is very dark (low contrast) probably due to the low quality. No complaints here. However, everytime I start the camera in picture or video mode (not replay) the shutter opens and the phone freezes. The typical camera display comes up but no image (from the lens) is displayed. Do you have any idea of what I may have done during my "surgery" to the phone?
I have tried reinstalling the firmware with SEUS with no luck. I also reopened it again and all connections seem ok.
