I got a problem with w995 after camera driver update i tried,"v3.0_Extreme Sharpness Special Edition_for_w995_VGA_640x480 Video Resolution" photo is not as i want very low quality, i can't record any video cuz while im recording video phone close camera and back to the standby menu and the biggest problem is i lost the English Language in phone.I don't know what is the problem.please any one help me

View 4 Replies View RelatedI downloaded A2 Uploader, clicked on "System file tool", connected the phone, went to ifs/settings/acoustic, dragged and dropped 76 files in the folder. I switched the phone back on, no difference at all. I used Rodriguez HD V.4. Did I do something wrong? I was expecting a dramatic change to the sound volume but nothing noticeable changed.

Now i am interested to mod camera driver.So can anyone give me tutorials for developing code for camera driver.I am a starter in programming and i know basics in assembly and c and java.I think all the modders are writing codes depending on hardware.What i understand after editing the driver in notepad is that you are giving values and changing them for every mode (twilight,auto,document etc.)Even if it's time taking i want to learn these things and i am interested in it.So can anyone send me the link for tutorials.It will be a great help for me.
View 3 Replies View Relatedi am having trouble changing the camera driver of my sony ericsson K850. I am trying to get WitchKing's CyberShot Xperience 8.3. I am using a2 uploader and whenever i place the camdriver0.dat into the ifs/settings/camera folder, i close down a2uploader by clicking shutdown, then when i turn my phone on after reinserting the battery i can tell the actual camera image is different, but the menu is still the same. I cant go to manual focus or any of the features that cybershot xperience offers. I have also tried replacing the en.lng file into the correct folder (forgot which one it was, but I know it was exactly the folder the tuto told me to go into). Can anyone please help me? I really want the manual focus.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI recently purchased a W995 and I am trying to turn off the shutter sounds for the camera. I know many people with SE phones and they all tell me the same thing. You can turn them off in the settings for the camera. On my W995 there is no option for the shutter sounds to be off there is only 4 sounds to choose from. I am sure that there should be a fifth option for off but its not there. How do i turn them off? I got 10 days cooling off period on my contract and this, along with a day of wifi problems, will mean the phone will be going back if there is no resolution for it.

View 14 Replies View Relatedfor some new Sony Ericsson phones (I know the W995 has this problem for sure) there is no option to turn off the camera sound or the focus sound, even when silent mode is on. Here I am going to guide you through a solution to overcome this.What we are going to do is replace the sound files for the camera sound and the focus sound with a sound which is silent, using A2uploader.
1. Download this .rar file I have uploaded with 3 sound files, namely camerafocus.3gp, camerashutter2.3gp and camerashutter2_rer.3gp
2. Currently you can choose the following sounds
1. Camera shutter
2. Bear can opening
3.Tennis ball
4. Laser
The files in the .rar have been created to replace the Beer can opening sound, however if you want to keep this one, then change the number on the end e.g to replace the Laser sound the two files would be camerashutter4.3gp and camerashutter4_rer.3gp Although please note to replace the Camera shutter sound the number on the end is not 1, but is no number at all e.g. camerashutter.3gp and camerashutter_rer.3gp3.Now you connect your phone to A2uploader (see Tutorial on main website for how to do this) and go to tpa/presets/system/sound and drop all 3 files into this folder. If you want to keep the sound you're replacing right click on it and click 'read' this will create a folder ph_out with this file in it.4.Shut down A2uploader, switch on phone and bobs your uncle!You can also add other sounds, I created a Gavin and Stacey one here but I will happily accept requests for others.Hope this helps! The Wi-Fi icon is green but when I try to connect to the internet a small e appears above the signal strength bars. Using a French network provider, my data allowance is very small, so would prefer to use Wi-Fi to pick up e-mail & other internet services. How can I force a Wi-Fi connection if one is available ?

My phone started not working so I switched off, sincve when it won't go past the Sony logo before the screen goes blank. It is seen by the PC for a few seconds every minute or so, and that's it. I can't do anything with it, and the battery is charged and the sim card is not faulty.

There is no pattern and just happens at random 2-3 times a day. Have tried the software update but it still happens. Only way to clear the problem is to remove the battery and then it will restart!

I'm quite bummed that the new fw doesn't allow manual installation for the Facebook app I've been using since the last fw. It's strange that after the fw update my APAC-ANZ doesn't come with it while another phone with the same CDA and fw does. Actually it does allow manual installation, it just doesn't integrate itself with the phone anymore, ie. able to log on but I can't view any of the pictures, there's no Facebook link for 'send to' in the photo gallery which used to allow me to upload photos directly to my Facebook page etc. Am kinda wondering if any of you kind souls could help me out with this.

However when I plug the usb cable in and go through the connecting proceedure it get rights the way to the end and then a grey box appears with an error message, send error report, don't send error report and which ever one you click shuts down the pc suite and you have to go through it all again for the same error report at the end!

And now my "5" button is also starting to play up, when i press the button nothing happens so sometimes i may be pressing it 10-20 times before it works, Anyone else had this problem?
