Jan 11, 2010I have a unbranded (stock) C905, and I have "lost" the RSS option from the media menu. I assume this happened with a recent firmware update, but not sure which one. Its rather annoying as there is an RSS feed subscribed, and the icon is showing on the status screen saying I have a new RSS info, but I cannot actually get to it.

Jan 3, 2010I see a lot of difference in the pics taken with K850 and C905 even if its the same one. I know its a 8MP in C905.but is there any other difference, i mean in the lens quality, the hardware etc Bcos recently i checked the pics taken with a modded C905, its just as from an SLR. The problem with K850 (for me) is that, when i take pics of distant objects in daylight (say 10meters) the camera fails to produce the detail..But this not the case with C905, i can see the image more clearly. also the longer the subject is the colors are not correct.("purple edges" on small objects with sky as background). But these all are gone with C905 pics. So my point is Is C905 having a better camera H/W ? or is it the software? and lastly is there any modded K850 cam driver which can take pica like c905'say be my knowledge is little regarding this issue

Mar 6, 2010I'am searching for a acoustic driver for my c905, i've seen that many of you are using Ultra Clear V2 but this is only a headphone driver (corect me if i'm wrong ), the Franc-Marc driver is also an option but there were complains that in some cases is to loud and can damage internal speaker at high volume, my third option is a mix from those two Franc_marc_Ultra Clear. I want a driver that doesnt distorsionate at high volume, and "tinny" increase volume from thr internal speaker. Please tell me what should i chose from those three drivers, or if you have another driver that is better.

Oct 2, 2010Recently my C905 phone camera does not save the picture taken even though on the screen stated saving after that it doesn't show the picture taken like it always do before. But the video mode it safe the clip taken. My memory card size 2G still not 50% full. Now I only can take video shot but not still picture. Phone call, sms, internet radio are in good condition. Whats wrong with my C905? Am I have to changed it with new NOKIA?

Feb 6, 2010I have read all the topics regarding modding of camera drivers.I tried every driver like best_pic_color_V8, witchkings cx v8.0, strong 1.5 beta, cyber-sHut v4.3 by pohuman , tough-shot and 3 more.All the drivers are very good and are efficient in giving good colors. Now i am interested to mod camera driver.So can anyone give me tutorials for developing code for camera driver.I am a starter in programming and i know basics in assembly and c and java.I think all the modders are writing codes depending on hardware.What i understand after editing the driver in notepad is that you are giving values and changing them for every mode (twilight,auto,document etc.)Even if it's time taking i want to learn these things and i am interested in it.So can anyone send me the link for tutorials.It will be a great help for me.

Mar 26, 2010i am having trouble changing the camera driver of my sony ericsson K850. I am trying to get WitchKing's CyberShot Xperience 8.3. I am using a2 uploader and whenever i place the camdriver0.dat into the ifs/settings/camera folder, i close down a2uploader by clicking shutdown, then when i turn my phone on after reinserting the battery i can tell the actual camera image is different, but the menu is still the same. I cant go to manual focus or any of the features that cybershot xperience offers. I have also tried replacing the en.lng file into the correct folder (forgot which one it was, but I know it was exactly the folder the tuto told me to go into). Can anyone please help me? I really want the manual focus.

Jan 7, 2010C905. It's a great phone and I have it for almost a year now. But yesterday I did a firmware update and now if I take a photo with the camera I can't find where it stores it. If I look at my pictures they're not there. I checked my settings and it should be saving the pictures on my memory card. I checked the remaining space on my memory card after taking picture and it changes. If I take a pictures it also says it's saving it. If I let it save on the mobile phone itself I can find them and I can find my videos on my memory card too.

May 20, 2010I got the phone about a week ago , GPS didn't work since i got it . I installed the newest software R1FA035 ,and the result was. When i enter the current status: after around 3 or 5 m. it finds around 3 or 4 satellites and they are located on the top of the screen 2 right and 2 left , they are outside the circle. before updating it could find 1 or 2 max. at same locations , but the new soft finds 4 and faster the old soft was R1FA035 too so it is always searching and never connected. When i use A-GPS " Internet " it locates my town on google maps and then wait for GPS signal , which doesn't connect like i said is it a software problem ? or hardware ? or regional " i'm from Egypt?hope you can help me , cause i can ask to change the phone this week " 14 days from buying "This Message was edited by: George0Isk on 2010-05-19 23:09 ]

Jul 15, 2010Slight technical problem with my C905 . Having updated the phones firmware to R1FA035, it has developed some connectivity issues. Firstly, when I now connect the USB cable, the mode menu pops up, but then disappears and the phone does not connect in any way. In addition, I cannot turn on USB charging in the service settings, just says 'charging off' every time. Also when I connect the phone using the 'C' button to boot, it just boots into mass storage mode.windows does not even pick up any hardware connected. Tried a number of cables on 3 different computers. I have tried doing a master reset but no luck. I cant update the phones software to try fix the problem, as USB does not connect. I tried phoning SE, but they just told me to send it off for a fee...and no guaranteed results.

Sony Ericsson :: Can't Hear During A Call In C905
Sep 27, 2010I use the phone and take a call as normal. Next day someone rings me, they can NOT hear me but I can hear them. I then discover the microphone is only live when in loud speaker mode, it is not a faulty mic as I can speak using it on speakerphone and make recordings.
I have done factory reset, had it to a repair guy who reinstalled all the software and replaced the 'ribbon cable' but the problem remains. Is there a secret 'mute' button that I have missed, is this a button/switch fault, we are totally perplexed.
