I have Naite for couple days.I transfer ring tones from my old sony ericsson throw Bluetooth, when i try set up new ring tones like ID ring tone or main ring tone always received cannot be used as ring tone. But it work for my old phone. Does the somebody have any ideas what is wrong.

When I tried to do this file by file, it did the same thing, and I waited for half an hour, before trying to exit, (the phone didnt respond) and I had to get the battery out to restart the phone! I tried a master reset, and now I've lost my themes and ringtones.

Sometimes when I call people there is a sound in the background (which can be heard by the other person as well) like when you keep the phone near a large speaker (or subwoofer). This happens randomly and sometimes even when I am outside, with no speakers around (although when I am home the sound can be heard even with the speakers turned off).

Delete one or more files of your choice' even when there is sufficient memory in the memory card. After this the memory card ceases to be detected by the phone and it hangs. I have to restart to resume normal functioning. Is there any problem due to the maximum limit of the memory card used? Memory cards below 8GB works fine in the phone.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI just bought a Naite yesterday. Used it as usual, drained the battery first, then charged it up till it's 100 percent complete. I went to school. During the trip, I plugged in the bundled headset HPM-60 and played some music. I noticed then, compared to other phones, that the volume level of the music I'm hearing from the headset is a little soft considering I'm, at that time, playing the music at it's maximum volume. I tried changing the equalizers of the phone but still, there is no great change to the volume I'm hearing.
I played the same music on Nokia 7210 Supernova and Motorola W231, with same bitrates, sampling frequencies, and file size, and found out that the Naite's sound is really softer compared to the other two. I even tried to fiddle with the settings (stereo widening, equalizers) but still, the Naite ended up with the softest sound. Is there anyway I can increase the volume of my Naite?
I bought naite from Fido, Canada. I realized that these options and menu are missing in device. I checked the manual and it says that it was there but I don't have any clue who removed these features from the phone. Instead of entertainment menu for instance I have Fido account thing whish ****** me off. So do you believe it was the phone company who removed the menu and those options? How can I restore it?

I cannot open my phone via PC like i did with some previous ones (through removable disk ( x: )) and then just dump some mp3 files (or converted files in some cases) and then I could see them in my phone and just add them as ringtones. I just got this phone yesterday. I did everything that everyone said, made the thing through ituens, under 40 seconds changed it to a m4r file put it in my tunes tab in itunes, and tabs tunes is checked to sync along with everything else but when i sync it my ringtones aren't anywhere please help!!! i need to put ringtones on my phone! I even unchecked the tunes synced my iphone again then checked the tunes tab again and still nothing?

I am trying to assign one of the built-in ring tones in the General profile, but there are no ringtones available except for "beep" and "Nokia tone" The other tones for IM, email, SMS are available but no ring tones. I should mention that I have already flash the phone firmware with the PR 1.2 (India) update.

Probably finger trouble.The volume is at maximum.I only have the standard ring tones.I cannot hear them when a call is received and also not when selecting them from Settings/ Tones/ Ring tone/More/Open gallery/Tones/Ring tones.I can hear the tones through the hands free earphone, both when a call is received and when selecting them .Being able to hear the keypad tones, with the handset not plugged in, I think means the mechanical speaker cutoff is not involved.

Once I had done this I noticed that my selection of ring tones had diminished from the ones previously installed with the new phone.Following the instructions for downloading ring tones (Media File - ringtones - select menu - then select Download Ring Tones) I notice that I do not have the option to Download! Even visiting the BB website it still tells me to follow the same instruction!

First off, when I upgraded it changed all my ring tones which is fine because I remember them all. But now when I go to change them, it only let's me choose music as ring tones. All the standard ones that came with the phone are missing, and those are what I was using. Is anyone else experiencing this problem or know how to fix it? I don't like the ring tones it's using and would really like to change them back to what they were.
