How to remove a photo set as a music album cover. I don't want to do a restore and I didn't set the pic I don't know how it got on there but it is from my photo gallery.
View 4 RepliesHow does the N8 pick up cover art for the mp3?, I have a library of full albums in tradition folder structures with complete id tags and cover art fetched online through Amarok. When I copy the albums over, most of them show up with no cover art. Only the random few will have it. I am trying to figure out why so I can make them all work the way it prefers.

View 1 Replies View Relatedmaybe its just me that cant seem to get this, I got my galaxy S II on saturday added my songs from my other phone on it and every thing was fine but about two days ago I noticed for all my songs without the actual album image on it, shows just one picture on all its display.Like have got a song titled Surrender by Barlow girls but the picture on it when I try playing the song is Britt Nicole's lost & found album, and its like that for hundreds of my songs and I just find it extremely annoying.

I started the Motorola music player the other day, and none of my album covers will display. They are still attached to the .Mp3's. They display in the Google (headphones icon) player just fine.
View 4 Replies View RelatedUsing the MP3Tag program on my PC, I added an album cover (from my own jpeg image) then transferred it to the N900. Worked fine. Later I wanted to change the cover so deleted the original via the the MP3Tag program and transferred to the N900, but the original image was still used by the N900 media player. I even deleted the N900 folder containing this album before re-transferring it from the PC. I also tried searching the N900 while attached to the PC in Mass Storage mode and found nothing, and I searched ALL folders, files and file types, hidden and not, on the entire device, and it was still not to be found (yes, including the localmediaart folder).So even though I deleted the original image in the MP3Tag program's metadata files and on the N900 itself, that first cover art image still remains somewhere. I do know there are some files not visible/searchable on the N900 and that must be where this image remains. I did solve the problem in a undesirable way by re-naming the album in MP3Tag, then the new art appeared on the N900.Any ideas on how to truly delete a file on the N900?
View 7 Replies View RelatedI transferred 2000+ songs on to my memory card and when i went to play them they play fine but the thumbnails are all the same. he phone seems to have picked a random thumbnail and applied it to every song. I've tried everything to change it and get an individual thumbnail for each song with no luck. I've tried Album Art Grabber but for some reason it picks out only one artist from my sd card and I can change that thumbnail but it then changes them to all being the same.
View 9 Replies View RelatedOn my S6 i upload a lot of my ripped CD's in MP3 format from my PC. Using Google Play on my Nexus 5, since the album art (even if you have the art in the same directory as music) doesnt show need to use an app, so i use Album Art Grabber from the GPS.
On my Nexus 5, the only time i'd need to re-run to grab the artwork is if I added new music...so i'd have to clear the Data from Google Play (Play Music), run Art Grabber and then run Google Play again. With the S6 however, im finding the artwork keeps disappearing every 24 hours or so. I keep having to re-run the Album Art grabber and cannot understand why. Never had this issue on my Nexus 5.
it happens with both Google Play and Stock Music player app, some cache clearing is happening over some hours and i cant figure it out.
there is no way to only sort by "album name", just a combination of "artist and album name" is accessible under options in the menu. This gives me problem since I have a lot of compilations with various artist names.I remember that it was some similar problems with 5800 XM, but fixed via an s/w release a long time ago...

Songs that I know I've downloaded show up with the little cloud icon thing and I have to download them again.
- I buy new music from iTunes
- It downloads on my phone
- I go do something else
- I want to listen to the music again
- I try to re download it
- I don't have space
The thing is way overzealous in its deletion.
This morning, I was listening to an album I had downloaded less than an hour before. I paused to watch a video in my photo library (less than a minute long).
I pressed play to resume the music. Music gone.
Later, I redownload the music. Right after it finished downloading, it alerts me that storage is almost full. Music gone.Â
I really want to turn this feature off. Music is one of the last things I would want to remove from my phone.

If I click on the pictures, they open as if they were a video, 'playing' anywhere from 5 - 10 seconds with a play bar below. There's no problem opening or downloading the photos, but it's weird/annoying that pictures are opening this way.
