on ICS, just tried to add a shortcut to one of my screens (it had/has room) and the add button will not work (greyed out) the shortcut i tried to add has not appeared, the button was working but stopped during the shortcut add?

I've cleared cache, cleared data, cleared defaults. I've turned off flipboard and google newstand.This piece of crap app is still running and draining my battery.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI had a sandisk SD card. Moved picture folders from device to SD card and LOST a ton of them. Read online I needed an official Samsung SD card so I bought one. Put it in yesterday and transferred pics over - so far so good.
Moved apps over to SD card using recommendations I read online, by going into device manager and now the apps are greyed out. They eventually work when you click them but their main icon isn't showing. Widgets I once had on home screens are also gone for those apps moved to SD card.

Have searched a lot about this problem, but looks like nobody has faced this before.hen I open my contact list (or the message list) and then press the back button, they don't close. I have to press the home button to come out of them forcefully. I then can kill the messaging app by going in task manager but there is no such option for contact list. This problem occurs only for contact list and message list. Rest all apps I am able to close by pressing back button.

Assuming it's the lag problem (making a single press lag so long it seems like a long press), what are some strategies for clearing out less necessary tasks the phone is doing?

View 2 Replies View RelatedWhen browsing trough one of my favourite news sites, I noticed when pressing the return button, it does the same as the recent apps button. It brings up the list of all my recently used apps.
I have tried a bunch of things like clearing the cache, getting a third party app to get a return button on the screen, even a full factory reset.
Just updated via Samsung Apps the camera firmware to a CDE11 or something version. Took 4 minutes to update and flash this firmware. I wonder what exactly it changed in the camera firmware? Hopefully improved things or bug fixes.I will test a few videos and see if the bitrate has changed or not.

The page loads just fine (I'm actually quite impressed with the speed) but after I type my username and pass and click the "go" button it will load then bring me to the same page as if I never typed in my login info! I figure maybe there are some setting somewhere I can change?
