My n97 will charge and the screen be on the white nokia charging screen.. but when i press the power button on top, nothing happens. I don't understand why this is happening at all.
I've been trying to work on my mothers old Curve Gemini ... She has no use for it so i decided I'd take charge of it. I was wondering , if the battery was dead or something because it wouldn't turn on , it showed a charging symbol when i put it on charge in the car ( then my only charger for that type of phone ) it charged for a good while so i took it off and it died.... After a got a wall charger i had it on for two days straight and when i take it off it dies... I got a new battery (35 bucks us here ) and put it in , the same thing even with charging
I've just recieved my bb curve 8520 and after it being on charge for over 4 hours, it will not turn on. The screen is showing the blackberry logo, with a bar underneath as if it was updating. the bar only reaches a certain point beofre it stops.Does anyone have any ideas about why this is and what I can do to turn it on??
I recently got my Sony Xperia Z3 two weeks ago and there are several problems that I'm noticing.
1. It charges extremely slow. I have tried different outlets and chargers to see if it can work but it doesn't and it take more than 3 hours to charge to its full capacity. How do I fix this?
2. While the camera is great, the image quality is not the best considering that it has a high mp I would expect more because I have seen images online where the quality is beautiful but when I look at my phone it's not like that.
Furthermore the front cam always has a lot of background noise which makes the images really bad. How do I fix these 2 problems?
3. Whenever I call someone and want to put them on speaker or I want to hangup it takes forever for the screen to light up. I even press the power button to see if it works but it doesn't.
Going on a cruise next week that has GSM roaming on it. I plan to leave the phone off unless I need to check in with someone in US.I know that the voice rate will be $4.99 per minute, but how do I turn off the data portion of the phone to not rack up crazy roaming data charges. I do have unlimited international email but suspect the cruise ship does not count.
Couldn't find anything answering this directly. I've just bought a 5320 on a payg tariff. If use GPS with assisted GPS and/or network-based GPS enabled will I incur any charges?
I'm having trouble using the GPS function w/o a data plan. I have set A-GPS off but I still seem to be flowing data and getting charged for it.My network is USA AT&T and I have an unlocked phone.I need help soon please as I need to use this in Alaska next week.
Have a Nokia 5230 with GPS. Am currently in Australia (live in New Zealand) for a couple of weeks and am just a little concerned now that the GPS may be getting some assistance from the local cellular network and don’t want to get home and find a Vodafone bill that equals the current deficit of Great Britain! When turn on Maps a warning comes up "Connection to network may be more costly when out of home network. In Position methods have turned off Network based but there is still an option called Assisted GPS “it wont work with this turned off” what is it does anyone know? Still have Integrated GPS selected but still needs that Assisted GPS for the GPS to work.
My Nokia N97 use to be in perfect condition and would charge every time i plug it in. However, lately whenever I plug it in, it charges and then it stops and says "Unplug charger from power supply to save energy" and then it says "Not Charging" and then it charges again and then it doesn't. The light near the charging slot always turn on and off multiple times. I have to play around with the charger and plug it in and out multiple times to get it to work. When it finally starts to charge, it takes extremely long to charge. It used to charge quick but now it take hours. Also, if it is charging, and I accidently touch the phone or the cord, it will immediately stop charging. Then I have to play around with the cord again so it will charge.
Hi! Does anyone know of a way to get voicemail recorded directly on the phone? Say somebody calls you and your phone is on but you don't answer, the phone records the message to the memory? I know my old Sanyo phone could do it, but can the Nokia 6275i or any phone for that matter? Thanks!
I downloaded a game a couple of months ago and the purchase was successful. However, I'm still being charged for the game every month. The game info didn't indicate any type of subscription to the product. I'm really tired of being charged every few weeks for the game that I supposedly already purchased and I already send them an email trying to get an answer but I haven't gotten a response yet.
I was just looking at Bell's rate plan promotions for the iPhone 4 and I noticed it said
From July 30 to September 30th get 6GB of data for only $30 per month with unlimited Wi-Fi in over 750 locations.
Now I was thinking is this a some sort of marketing tactic, to make some people think you normally really do have to pay, or do you actually normally have to pay?
So i went to the apple store because my phone was not charging and they told that it was water damage but it was not because i made a proffesional check my iphone. he than said that it was the thing were you plug the chrager to charge.after all of that my iphone 4 started charging when it was off but when i turn it back on it would not chrage, now it only charges when its off and not on. it even doesnt show the chraging sign on the statues bar at the top
A colleague mentioned they have been charged for using FaceTime by their UK provider? It got me thinking, although it uses wifi to carry out the call, it initiates as a standard phone call so even when it switches to wifi does it still maintain that cellular connection and then the call comes out of your inclusive minutes or charges you? It got me thinking because if the new iPod does get FaceTime, with no cellular connection they obviously cant initiate the call in the same way the iPhone 4 does. Which then led me to think if you just go straight to the FaceTime button in the contacts app and use that does that go straight to a FaceTime call and therefore does not do anything cellular?
Last night my iPhone 3G stopped being recognized by my laptop. I can only charge it with the USB wall charger which ***** because now I can't restore or put music on my phone anymore. This is. Second hand 3G but the same thing happened to my old iPhone.
I am running firmware 4.2.1. My iTunes is up to date and I'm on windows 7.
I have had the x3-o2 for 6 months now, but whenever I try to connect to the internet- it connects and charges through my network even if I am connected to wi-fi.
My Curve 8520 still charges via usb, but fails to connect to the desktop software. Tried updating software, reinstalled it etc, no obvious damge to usb cable.
When i connect it to the PC, it starts charging but does not connect to the computer.I tried all USB modes in the phone setting but it does not even give a connection notification on the computer. I tried connecting it to other computers but still nothing.
I have been having this issue for a while on my Torch 9850. It will only charge the battery when connected to a computer. I have bought several USB cables including one specified for charging. I have replaced the battery with a new one, bought high mAH wall charger and car charger (2 amp and 5 amp), and used several other chargers from friends phones on several other outlets. It will charge on my PC, my laptop, Windows or Linux, but thats a real pain when my truck is my office.
My Nexus 6P will not do anything but charge when it's plugged up to my PC. I am using the systemless root and Franco kernel r7. Other than that, it's stock. What happens when I plug my phone into my PC is the battery icon changes to charging, and that's it. The PC does not recognize the phone is plugged in, and there are no unknown USB devices in device manager. I also do not get a USB notification on my phone.
More details:
- I have done the complete drive install VIA the nexus root toolkit (both initial setup before this problem, then again when the problem surfaced) - USB debugging is enabled - I swapped cables about 3 times, no change - Tried different USB ports on PC and laptop and even ports directly connected to the motherboard. no change. - Tried on my laptop (Windows 10) and it does the same thing as the PC (Windows 10). - USB settings are set to MTP, although if I change it, it seems to get stuck on charging. I have to tap MTP about 3-5 times in order for it to say it's in MTP mode again. - Running the command adb devices in command prompt does not show anything connected.
Other than this weird issue, I have not had any problems with my phone. I also have another USB-C cable on the way, but it seems unlikely that would be the issue.
So, I've only had this phone for a month. I am not sure how this occurred or maybe it's due to the recent updates as I usually ignore the updates so I decided to update my phone. Now, it can't detect my phone. Just charges. I've done everything....download the samsung driver for my phone, download Kies and done the developer option to USB debugging..
I know the iPhone battery isn't that great and most people on here charge over night. I charge over night, at work, later when I get home, then again at night ( prob down to 60%). should I limit the number of charges to save the long term life of the battery or can the battery take it?
So my battery died early this morning and i plugged it into my laptop to charge through the usb cable. (I don't have my wall charger, i left it in NZ as i am over seas)Now when i plug it in theres a white light which then turns green. After about 10mins the phone swithes on and jsut as it says starting services, it says shutting down.
My 32gb iPhone 5 died on me and I plugged it in so it can charge and nothing happened for the longest time. After several hours it was charged to 35% and it kept charging really slow. The phone would also get really warm, more warm if I tried using it while it was charging. When I would unplug it, it would die really fast or would jump down 10-20%, with little to no use at all, in a few minutes and when I plug it in it jumps up to the percent it was at and then continue charging very slowly. I'm using a wall socket with the apple chord and the apple power adapter, and I have turned it on and off. me figure out what is wrong and how I can possibly fix it?Â
I can't find this similar problem in other forums, I don't have time to drive to downtown to ask an apple employee and since it is over a year they won't do anything to fix it anyway, can't chat with customer service because I have to pay 20 bucks and it is not worth it. Apple needs to make better products and get better customer service.
