I tried for hours to connect my new X6 16 GB with my PC to get my Outlook-contacts on my mobile...but it didn' work.I tried to download a new software version - also not possible.The mobile phone is always connected with the PC Suite Mode but it doesn't work.Now I get in Nokia Ovi Suite the error: 8393f00b (I should try to get a new software version...well that isn't working either.

View 8 Replies View RelatedI am trying to synchronise my clients blackberry 9000 with his outlook. Desktop manager is installed and the device can be seen but there is NO option to synchronise? I have tried connecting via usb and bluetooth.
OS on BB is 4.6
BM software is 4.6
I don't know if it is because I have not got Contacts sync set up properly, or even whether these settings can be tweaked, but the synchronisation between the Contacts list on my BB9900 and Gmail Contacts for addresses (i.e. building addresses) completely screws up the field parsing!
For instance: I enter somebody's address on my BB, making use of the separate Address 1; Address 2; City; County/Region; Postcode; and Country fields as appropriate, then when I check back an hour later, the entire address has been moved into the Address 1 field (with the other fields empty), I presume as a result of Gmail Contacts syncing?
Note: I DO NOT use Google Sync; I just have the Contacts synchronisation option checked in Email Setup for my gmail address. I used to use Google Sync but I recently removed it from my previous handset (9700), as it used to duplicate/triplicate/n-tuplicate my Contacts and Calendar entries! Surely this isn't the way syncing is supposed to work? Is there a way of mapping the fields between BB device and Gmail Contact list, so that this doesn't happen?
I have tried to synchronize my Aino for several times with Outlook. It worked last time, now the process is being interrupted. I did several attemps to synchronize, but in the middle of the proceess, the PC Suite all of a sudden switches from PC mode to USB mode. It looks as if the Aino had just been connected, but I haven't touched the Aino, the cable, or the computer.

I can't turn on the phone because the phone stacks in a blank Nokia logo and then turns off. When I try to connect in the PC nothing happens and when I try to put the battery into the device. it turns on by itself and restarting sevaral times. I dont know what kind of problem I am facing.

I can access the maps, I get the correct position but the problem occurs when I try to navigate to any address. It doesn't seem to have an actual issue with the location because I've tried several locations in Bucharest and got the same error.

After update all messages are erased and she had important information there. I read in trouble shooting, that:: What should I do if the automatic restore of my phones content doesnâ work after I did the update to Nokia Belle and I dont see my contacts, calendar, bookmarks, etc.?A: The backup of your phone content is stored under C:Users[username]DocumentsNokia SuiteBackups and includes "Nokia_Belle_Update" in the filename. I installed Ovi Suite on Mac and downloaded extra support for C7, but I couldn't restore that information. She never installed Ovi Suite on her PC. My question is: is she installs Ovi Suite for PC on her laptop, will she be able to restore old messages? I recently switched to Belle as well on my Nokia N8, but I'm not that crazy about old messages, so I haven't noticed it. I checked on my phone using Files disk C, but there wasn't any folders with my username.

- in-built integration to upload pictures to picasa and flickr
- in-built integration to upload videos to Internet
- an official app for Internet
- the nokia social app has facebook and twitter in it and absolutely no option to add any other services.
the above is basic 101 of any smartphone. cmon, give us symbian loyals the very basics of any smartphone out there.
I cant scan phone memory of nokia 5233 using antivirus.when my phone is in mass storage mode via USB, it only shows Memory Card under my computer, It never shows phone memory.We also know that if we keep phone in ovi suite mode, it dont shows option to scan phone memory.
