I have not been able to connect my phone to my office today. I used it yesterday on the same PC. I tried connecting my colleague's E63 with the same cable and port and it works just fine. I don't even get the USB mode selection window when I connect my phone though it has been selected in the connectivity setting to ask for mode.

But then a few weeks ago I went to connect to my home Wi-Fi and it said Wi-Fi was off, so I turned it on and it crashed. When I finally got it to stop crashing it just said 'No Networks Avalible' even though I know that there is, but most of the time it crashes and I just can't connect to any Wi-Fi at all. I know it sounds a bit vague but I don't know what it is exactly that is happening.

However, stragenly I was able to upgrade from Android 1.6 to Android 2.1 through PC Companion (though PC Companion refuses to detect). Now my handset say there are updates available and to be updated through PC Companion. However, this time PC Companion is not bending in any direction to support me.

The ovi maps app works with my wlan internet at home but when I try to use my 3G optus network internet it says "connection unavailable- please try again"?
I can access my 3G optus network for all other internet purposes on my phone except ovi maps. What is wrong with it?
How do i make N97 mini connect to wi-fi automatically when i'm at home and packet network (3G etc.) when no wi-fi is available? Also how to make it prompt before connecting to packet network, as i get charged for it?
This phone has got a mind of its own at the moment, Facebook widget tries to connect to packet network even when an existing wi-fi connection is extablished (and spotify is using it). I get a beep every time it fails.
In fact ALL widgets try to establish a packet connection when there's no need and i simply cannot change any settings to make this device work sanely.
I have no apps running and no widget than use internet, but it is active the HSDPA connectionwhy is it?

I've now have an issues with setting up my email on the phone. No matter which way round I go to set it up I have the same problem. It comes up with the error of 'Cannot connect to the internet. Please contact your carrier'. The weird thing is that I can browse the internet fine on both wlan and network connection. I've called vodafone and they have no answer for whay it is doing it. But after connecting i was unable to access any sites as it gave error: invalid server name. Ive tried at Mumbai Airport as well, but still the same error. I tried many different site but still the same error. Also sometime when i try some sites after connecting to WLAN, it prompts to connect via GPRS which should not be the case I believe. Both GPRS and WLAN are different. How do I access Internet via W-fi and not with the GPRS.

One second I could go to a webpage and then the next it would say WLAN not found. Keep in mind this was literally 10cm from the wireless router.Now at work I tried connecting to the WLAN after following a very comprehensive guide put together by our IT department with all the required details. I also downloaded the required certificate and opened it (selecting all 3 of the options that come up, whatever they were).Another person at work has the E65 and they connected fine.
