I've update PC Suit to its latest version, but dragging inside the calendar stop working after this update. What is not working is dragging the entry from hour/day to hour/day and changing its duration by the mouse. No cursor change, no effect. Both was working in the previous version. Is this a bug in new version, removed feature or is it some problem on my machine?

View 4 Replies View RelatedOn June calendar sync worked fine between my E55 and Outlook 97. After my summer vacation sync doesn't work.
Now I get always error message: "Reconnect the USB cable or connect via Bluetooth. Then senc again. Error code: 8004fced" I have tried with cable and BT. Already I have reinstalled Ovi Suite and I have flashed my E55 again but these didn't help. Sync working with contacts, messages and pictures.
I cant get my contacts and calendar synced to my nokia E71.I have updated the firmware, ovi suite and my outlook/office 2010

OVI suite tells me that there has to be outlook installed.but it is a complete new installation pf all nokia components did not help.any ideas?
I'm trying to transfer all my appointments from the calendar on a 6300 to a 6303i using PC Suite. They all came across an hour later. (Contacts and messages all came across OK) So I went back and checked the 6300 - all correct. Linked the 6300 to my PC using PC Suite and viewed appointments directly - lo and behold, an appointment showing as 11:45am on the phone, shows as 12:45 on the PC screen! I presume this is something to do with daylight saving, since both phone and PC are set to GMT. The 6300 does not have a daylight saving setting, so I simply re-set the time myself, but maybe the PC Suite software automatically does it? But if so, why change the time of the appointments, surely this was only a problem if you changed timezones (e.g. to GMT +1) in the old days?Anyone out there have any suggestions as I don't want to have to re-input a year's worth of appointments!

View 12 Replies View Relatedget the Nokia PC Suite to work with E7?When I first received the phone and connected to my Win7 PC PC Suite (7.1.60.0)said that I need to use OVI Suite. I already had a bad feeling about that, as I never got it working on my N97, but thought maybe they have upgraded it it since...Installed OVI Suite n3.0.0.290 but it was pretty much the same as I remembered, big, slow and unreliable. It worked OK otherwise, but didn't synchronize my Contacts to Outlook which was the main use I wanted it for, so after a day of fightingit I removed it.I then saw that some people got an older version of PC Suite working with N8, the 7.1.30.9 and decided to try that. And hey, it did recognize my phone, and everything else worked OK, EXCEPT the sync program which says that the phone model is not supported..if there is another version of older PC Sync that works with E7-00 ? Or if there is a new version that would work ?
View 19 Replies View RelatedA couple of issues I found after upgrading to 2.1.1.1:
1) Tools->Options->Device sync: I cannot check Calendar and tasks. There isn't even such a chekbox. However If I go down to the "Calendar and tasks" option I can set date range for sync, and MS Outlook. but I can't turn the sync on. If I go to Sync->Sync status it show that my cal is never synced. In PC Suite this was possible, but not anymore.
2) I want the suite to sit silent in the system tray and sync silently. Not pop up and be obtrusive during my web meetings. In PC Suite, this was possible to do, but not anymore.
I am running Ovi Suite on Windows 7 Home 64-bit and keeps on crashing. when i open it i get a message that says sth like "Ovi stopped working. windows: there is a problem that prevents the programme from working properly" etc. (i'm translating from italian). Full stop. Nothing more, nowhere to click. There is no error message.I saw this thread (/t5/Nokia-Ovi-Suite/Ovi-Suite-keeps-on-crashing-version-2-2-0-245/td-p/730687) and tried to follow the procedure but this does not apply to my case because:
1) there is no such thing like a window dialog suggesting "Check online for a solution and close the program" AND "close the program".
2) there is no such thing like "View problem details" etc.
Do you know how to fix this problem and/or give me a link where I can download a former Ovi Suite version that works properly?

I've recently installed an update to my ovi store on my nokia 5800 through the ovi suite and it doesnt work. It won't open up at all! I can't install or uninstall anything it keeps saying that it's "unable to start operation: installer already in use" its a pain, can anyone help me please?

I used the Ovi suite to install the free maps on my E72 which work great but the software itself is very poorly written, too many bugs and problems so i would like to uninstall it and use the PC suite instead. can I now update my phone using the PC suite with it's updater software or do I have to now rely on the Ovi suite.
The reason I ask instead of having two pieces of software is i want to a Vista/XP (two machines) clean install followed by a Ghost DVD so the smaller image the better (plus i dont like to have **bleep** installed on my machine:-)

I checked bluetooth device that im using, and made sure that phone bluetooth is on. In Attachment is shown how PC Suite and Bluetooth react when i try to reconnect the phone.
View 8 Replies View RelatedHave a N900. Got the phone to work against Smart Suite and later Ovis Suite very well for the first 3 weeks. Then the trouble started. I used it both with USB cable and BTooth. First my synchronization with Lotus Notes calendar stopped (have to go by the PC), then contacts and messages. And today it does not even recognize the phone as a compatible phone. In the whole period I have been installing all kind of applications. My suspicion is that the trouble is due to an installation of a particular application - my question is:Anyone that got an idea what might have caused this?? Lately each time I drag and drop music or videos to my phone using mass storage, my music player won't show it. There's nothing in recently added and I tried refreshing it, but it showed me 'General:System Error' and stopped refreshing. I checked in my file manager and the songs are still there.

I downloaded the desktop manager, and am trying to sync my gmail on my laptop with my BB. When I try to set up the sync preferences, it gives me the options of outlook, yahoo, and ASCII importer. I use gmail, but not outlook. How do I sync these and the calendar as well?

Using whatever crap came with this new S6 Edge, I can't get my calendar to sync with my work calendar no matter what I try. (It's a Microsoft Exchange thing.) I have talked to Verizon tech support,as well as the IT people here are work and my settings are right. So....now I'm thinking about trying to install the Nine Exchange app, even though it galls me to have to pay for a calendar that will sync.
My question is, should I uninstall both the email and calendar that are on my phone now, and then set them all up again after Nine Exchange is installed? I guess I'm not clear on what the app is actually doing.
I just upgraded from an S4 to an S6. I've become quite reliant on using my Google Maps Navigation app from my Calendar app. On my S4 it worked perfectly. I could open an appointment (or a scheduled event) and click on the address (hyperlinked) I had put into the calendar and it would automatically open to my Google Maps app and start navigation from my current location.
Now on my S6 the when I use the address in the Calendar app it gives me the address with the word MAP next to it. When you click on MAP it opens a map but it doesn't appear to be Google Maps and it certainly is not set up for navigation purposes.
Or did Samsung eliminate this feature? (And if so, WTF... it was the one of most valuable features of my S4). Is there anything I can do besides copying and pasting the address into Google Maps so that it will be efficient and effective like it was in my S4?
