I want to import calendar data to my 5800XM. I have already an .ics-file. How can I import this to the calendar in my mobile? I have tried to copy the file to the phone, but got an error message, that the file can't be opened.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI use a german phone, so maybe some points are named different. If I open the gallery and then 'Pictures and Videos' I cannot see the Folder where my pictures are in. All pictures are on the microSD-Card in folders like 'E:ImagesCamera201106...'. How can I tell the gallery-programm to scan these directory for images? If I make a shot with teh camera, the folder of this month will be found and all pictures inside will be shown. After deleting this new image, the content of the folder is no longer present. Also all pictures from the months before will not be shown. My phone is a 5800XM with FW 51.0.006

I would like to import only the Contact List contained in that back up data from the stolen device to a new Curve 8520. However I do not see any method to do that other than to "Import Files" to the new Curve from the backup data via Desk Top Manager from PC. Is that possible or is that not the mechanism to accomplish this??

What is not working is dragging the entry from hour/day to hour/day and changing its duration by the mouse. No cursor change, no effect. Both was working in the previous version. Now I get always error message: "Reconnect the USB cable or connect via Bluetooth. Then senc again. Error code: 8004fced" I have tried with cable and BT. Already I have reinstalled Ovi Suite and I have flashed my E55 again but these didn't help. Sync working with contacts, messages and pictures.

OVI suite tells me that there has to be outlook installed.but it is a complete new installation pf all nokia components did not help.any ideas?
I'm trying to transfer all my appointments from the calendar on a 6300 to a 6303i using PC Suite. They all came across an hour later. (Contacts and messages all came across OK) So I went back and checked the 6300 - all correct. Linked the 6300 to my PC using PC Suite and viewed appointments directly - lo and behold, an appointment showing as 11:45am on the phone, shows as 12:45 on the PC screen! I presume this is something to do with daylight saving, since both phone and PC are set to GMT. The 6300 does not have a daylight saving setting, so I simply re-set the time myself, but maybe the PC Suite software automatically does it? But if so, why change the time of the appointments, surely this was only a problem if you changed timezones (e.g. to GMT +1) in the old days?Anyone out there have any suggestions as I don't want to have to re-input a year's worth of appointments!

View 3 Replies View RelatedA couple of issues I found after upgrading to 2.1.1.1:
1) Tools->Options->Device sync: I cannot check Calendar and tasks. There isn't even such a chekbox. However If I go down to the "Calendar and tasks" option I can set date range for sync, and MS Outlook. but I can't turn the sync on. If I go to Sync->Sync status it show that my cal is never synced. In PC Suite this was possible, but not anymore.
2) I want the suite to sit silent in the system tray and sync silently. Not pop up and be obtrusive during my web meetings. In PC Suite, this was possible to do, but not anymore.
I synced my phone with my work calendar and since then the phone likes to wake me up extra early with reminders about things happening that day.This is driving me crazy - How do I get rid of all the appointments?I've tried options/ delete - but it will only let me delete the ones in the past.I've tried changing the date on the phone and deleting them - and it says it's done it but the appointments are still there.
