Nokia :: 5000 D Save SMS To A Computer/external Source?
Jul 14, 2010I have some SMS's that I want to keep as they are sentimental (very) and I don't know how to transfer them onto a PC, I know the Nokia 500-d has Bluetooth but I do not believe there is a USB cable available for this model
I have saved the SMS's that were originally in the inbox to a separate folder in saved items, but there is no option to do anything with these, to transfer etc.. I really really do not want to lose these messages, there must be some way to save them. If anyone can help I would really appreciate it!!!
Motorola Motoactv :: Open Source / Dev Kit?
Feb 29, 2012Are there any plans to make the MotoActv code open source or expose any means by which non-moto people could attempt to add functionality to the device? I'm sure I'm not the only giant nerd who is also an athelete using a MotoActv. If it were possible, I'd love to play around with the device and see if there were places that I could improve efficiency, add functionality, etc.

Nov 20, 2011I used to have a nokia n95 a few years back, I no longer have it. But I found a load of old files in a folder labelled 'nokia n95 phone messages' stored on my comp. As the folder name suggests, they're phone messages (I assume so anyway) ! I now want to open these messages but cant find a way to do so! I have downloaded the nokia suite 3.2.100 and tried to open them in there, but to no avail. How I could open these files on windows?!

May 22, 2011After installing PC Suite when first connecting my C5.00 my PC(win7 64 bit ultimate) consistently fails to load the drivers for:
USB OBEX
MTB USB Device
USB Phonet
USB LCIF
Subsequently I cannot use PC suite or OVi suite. I have tried uninstalling PC suite but each time I start again the same thing happens, even if I change USB ports.I have successfully loaded same drivers on my Samsung laptop (WIN 7 64 bit home premium) using the same cable and can connect to PC suite OK.
Nokia :: N86 8MP - Windows 7 64 Bit Drivers Fail To Install
Feb 25, 2010I have installed Nokia Suite twice (after first uninstalling it and removing all the drivers) and Nokia software update once, but neither product can see the phone connected by the USB cable. Windows is able to load some of the drivers, but depending on the time 3 or 4 of the 7 or 8 items windows tries to install fail. ie Nokia N86 USB LCIF fails, Nokia N86 USB Generic fails. Device manager has a flag on all phone related items, except for Nokia N86 USB Phone Parent. During the software installs the software sees a phone and asks for it to be removed before continuing with the install, which I comply with. So the software at least partially sees it. The phone is connected by the Nokia supplied cable directly to the motherboard in PC mode and this is a fresh (1 week old) install of Win 7 64.

When connecting to my computer (Windows 7 64) via usb I have no issues, but over bluetooth I get 3 uninstalled components which are listed as Bluetooth Peripheral Device in Device Manager.I have not fully tested my bluetooth functionality yet, but I do know that when I try to listen to the audio through my computer speakers or use a headset set up to my computer it doesn't work properly. What do I need to do?

Coming off a bad relationship with the E-7, the Lumia Looks good and feels good..HOWEVER, I have noticed that when holding the phone in my hand it gets quite hot? As well as the charger plug heats up considerably after about a hour.. Another issue I have encountered is that the drivers do not seem to want to work, im running windows vista, (not that great i suppose) but if i upgrade my OS to Win8 would it make any difference to the use of the phone?

Various versions of the Blackberry Desktop software haven't helped. Either they will open the BB Desktop Software (Version 5.0) but won't synch to Outlook 2010, or the BB software loads apparently successfully, but won't open on the computer (Version 7.1). My husband says he tried all the BB desktop versions in between unsuccessfully.

Jun 15, 2010My old 5310 had no problems connecting through bluetooth or cable to my PC. Now I updated to a X6 and nothing but issues connecting. The bluetooth works sometimes, when it feels like it, when it doesn't work and I disable bluetooth on the phone, I can't enable it again, it just says something along the lines it can't execute bluetooth operation. First time I experienced it, I gave up and a little later I tried again, bluetooth enabled as normal and immediately connected and worked as normal.
Then I try to connect through USB cable, on which it only tries to find drivers (which it used to have when I first got the phone) and eventually I get a message the phone is still transferring files (which it isn't) and I need to enable PC Suite mode while that's what it's on. I think there's something very wrong with the software.

I have restarted both Phone and laptop several times. I did connect successfully to my HTC Radar. I don't even get the "Charging" symbol on my Lumia. Connecting My Lumia to another laptop running Windows 8 works just fine. How can I install the correct driver, and from where to I get it? I expected to get it from Windows Update as it should "just works".
