Nokia Nseries :: Unable To Retrieve Stuff List In Ovi Store?
Apr 29, 2011
unable to retrieve stuff list in your ovi account. while downloading, u cant see the stuff list that u downloading and also history. im facing this problem currently with my Nokia N8.how to make my stuff list visible again?
I am getting this error even after restarting the phone. I've got the BestTaskMan app which allows me to close all applications apart from the system critical ones but it still doesn't work.
Prompted unable to connect service try again later when trying to open ovi store on N8. The Ovi 1Mb, Ovi Store 3Mb and Ovi Store Installer 5Mb are shown as installed applications,
Ever since I have updated my e7 to the new symbian O.S I haven't been able to download anything from the OVI store. I keep getting "operation timeout". I restarted my phone and disconnected/ reconnected WLAN yet I keep getting the same error.
After the latest update of Ovi store (2.08.042) on my N8 phone there is a strange thing going on.
I can login to OVI account and browse for applications. But when I click the Account icon none of My stuff is showing up. It only displays the circle going around indefinitely (I left it on over the night and nothing changed). If I restore the setting from backup I get the older version back and everything works fine.
every-time i try to use store app in my nokia 700 i get the message "unable to contact store, try again later" and when i try to open the website [URL] i get the message "Permission denied, This service is not available in your area" i am from Sudan, how can i use the store?
I've tried a lot of Apps and Themes and deleted them from my phone. But they're still in "My Stuff" in Ovi Store, which is annoying. How can I delete them?
I have a Nokia c6-01 with Symbian Belle and my store version is 3.22.054.When I try to go to last tab the following message shows up after a few seconds: "There was a problem opeining this page. It could be a lost connection or a slow network. Ckeck your connection or try again later."I am on wi-fi network and programs install just fine, so I don't think the slow network or lost connection is relevant.
I have set up new mailbox to recieve my emials. Everything works fine, connection is OK, I can even send emails but when I go to retrieve emails, all, the mail box shows empty. Yet I know that I have loads of emails in my outlook.
Every now and then my Nokia N8 contact list freezes when I try to select a contact fom the list, when starting a call or by accessing the contact list directly. A reboot, factory reset nor firmware reinstalling doesn't solve the problem, it only works temporarily. When the list freezes I am able to swipe through it up and down, though selecting contacts is not possible. I do see a cursor blinking in the lower half of the screen, at the position where the search window normally is. The search window itself is vanished.
I have a Nokia N95 and when i go to my contacts none of the contacts appear and there is no "options" just "exit". The numbers are still in my simcard or phone as when people call me their name still appears. I just cannot see anyones number.i also tried backing up the files to my computer but d backup came up with read error!i badly need those contacts!
I use Nokia N8 and Ovi store 2.0. As the the title states, when I press buy button in Ovi store it shows "Server error, we are experiencing problems with the payment service. You will be taken back to the catalog page." It occurs to all apps not specific app. The price shows correctly in local currency. I still didn't enter any card number. I've contacted Nokia call center which they received the issue with no response and solution for more than 1 week.
E73 running symbian etc. on T-mobile network. Used on an Wireless LAN for calls / web as well as regular cell, as per most people.
I found (looking from both PC-suite and via phone's application manager) that I had new installs of Fr0MA_0x2000E2FC, the Fr0MA_installer, MDM_Client, Media DS Plugin, MMS DS Plugin, PIPS Installer, etc. Never saw them earlier.
These are new to me, but web searches show they can be associated with digital rights. However, given potential power of the Apps from a remote site I was worried.
1. If I remove them is there any risk to phone use (i.e., if needed can I reinstall them).
2. Where are they likely to have recently appeared from (another app's support, malware, T-mobile or Nokia).
I have a new problem to update with FP2. Suddenly last evening I noticed that all my contacts are showing as unnamed, although their details are intact. Just the names are missing. The whatsapp favorites/contacts list looks fine and the contact search before making a call is also identifying the contacts. The names have disappeared only from the master contacts list. I tried doing the usual restart couple of times. Also did a Nokia sync but the issue hasn't been resolved. I'm worried about restoring the backup lest the problem remains.
In the 'application management' menu on my N97 Mini, I'm unable to open the list of installed apps. The system just returns to the 'application management' page. I've looked around a bit on the internet, and found out that it may be due to the number of installed apps on the phone being too large. I do admit, I'm not really restricting myself with regard to that, but I also think I should not have to be. And of course, there are workarounds, but for some functions, like changing the settings of some applications, the list of installed apps is necessary.Questions:1. Can the problem be resolved? After all, I didn't pump the thing full of Micro-SD memory for nothing.
2. Does Nokia know about this bug? Is it or has it been taken care of?3. What's the limit on the number of installed apps for the application management to function correctly?
I have a Nokia N82 running on v35.0.002 and whenever I try downloading Ovi Store from the download pplication it downloads well but when it reaches 75% of installation it says unable to install
I am unable to login to the Ovi Store on my brand new N78 because I can't sign in to my Nokia.com account. While I can sign in fine on the Internet, I can't press the sign in button below my username and password. I am able to open other links by clicking on them so this is very frustrating.
I restarted my N8 the other day, and the login to nokia's window pops out after that. I connected to wi-fi and tried to login but failed everytime. And then i tried to login to my account on ovi store, it failed too. And i tried to download apps, but the download button doesnt work. What is wrong? What should i do? I need to download stuff.
My problem is I cant install ovi store on my nokia. When i download installation file and run it, it says its installing. When its almost end of installation it says 'installation was impossible'.
When I bought my nokia 701 I had pre-installed shazam. For a mistake I deleted it, I can't get the app back from nokia store (shazam not available for symbian belle) and every version I installed is bugged (apps automatically closed after few seconds).I sent an email to your support and they answer to upgrade my firmware (thing I already did, I restored it too) but nothing changes shazam is still not there.I asked how can I get it back from the "initial" firmware but I had no answer
I tried signing in over and over but it keeps saying operation could not be completed due to an error. my account name and pass is correct, i tried signing in to the ovi store on the website on the computer and it works. but i try signing in to the ovi store app, it comes up with an error
