I restarted my N8 the other day, and the login to nokia's window pops out after that. I connected to wi-fi and tried to login but failed everytime. And then i tried to login to my account on ovi store, it failed too. And i tried to download apps, but the download button doesnt work. What is wrong? What should i do? I need to download stuff.

While I can sign in fine on the Internet, I can't press the sign in button below my username and password. I am able to open other links by clicking on them so this is very frustrating.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a Nokia E63. When I got it I setup my Gmail and company email on the phone with OVI mail. Everything worked fine. The I decided I want to make changed to the accounts. I removed the gmail account after which the email functionality became useless. I was forced to remove OVI mail from my phone. I reinstalled it and now it is asking for my nokia messaging username and password. I tried and tried but it just don't want to sign in. My company email account was specifically persistant in this mater and even if I got it set up it would ask me for my password to log in.
I soon resorted to deleting my Nokia OVI account in attempt to release the company email from OVI mail. I then created a new OVI account to no avail. I read that I should uninstall OVI store and restart my phone then reinstall OVI store. Now OVI store is completely unable to log in to my account (obviously because the original account is now deleted) Furthermore I am unable to change OVI store's login details. This is a huge mess. Clearly someone hasn't been thinking.
Nokia rebranded Nokia Music store to OVI Music in India. Earlier I had Nokia Music Store account as OVI login was not supported in Nokia Music store. So my Nokia Music account and OVI login were different. Now when login to music.ovi.com and select India as country , I am asked to login. I can login with my OVI id but then dont see remaining tracks and download history. I login with my older Nokia Music account and I can see remaining tracks and History.
Some of my friends report that in their case , their Nokia Music and OVI account are merged and tracks and history details are still there.But this has not happened in my case. Please let me know when Nokia will be able to merge 2 accounts for me. or is there any way I can do it myself? I know that similar thing happened for OVI share and Sports Tracker accounts but they were eventually merged with single OVI account.

After i start music store i can't login or go to main page because when i press those buttons i get error "Music store: Unable to perform operation" Tried to do hard reset and update firmware again with no help. FW: 40.0.005. I think this problem came with this new V40 firmware or shortly after that when i lost email notification from shortcut homescreen.

1. I Log In to the Nokia Store - download apps - no problem.
2. I Log off the Nokia Store ("remember me" option is OFF)
3. While I am Logged off and click on an app to download - I am automatically logged in?
4. Every time when i am logged off and want to download something, the system must ask me at least for a password to provide, but i don't see that option? - Where is it?And one more thing - when i downloaded a "free" app - it wanted to connect to the Internet.didn't read the message, but I think it was some kind of advertisement thing...obviously, i didn't allow it, and couldn't use the app (the risks are more than obvious)
After I selected (delete and restore) from factory setting. And I can't login to ovi store and download anything.

I DO NOT WANT TO LOGIN TO OVI as I feel that I do not have any control over the data usage of it. I am frequent traveler and I guess that OVI is not going to pay for the internet while I am roaming.I NEED to get entirely rid of this OVI login screen. Anyone who can explain how I can remove the OVI login from my phone ? Pressing the Later button is not an option.

Yesterday i did a hard reset and i updated ovi store app (it need to be upgraded if you want to download apps from there), but now it doesn't load if i login (without login it shows main page) but if i want to download (ex. gravity twitter client) i need to login, and i can't download.
my mobile is a nokia x6 (16gb) and my company is vodafone spain (i live in spain).
I use Nokia N8 and Ovi store 2.0. As the the title states, when I press buy button in Ovi store it shows "Server error, we are experiencing problems with the payment service. You will be taken back to the catalog page." It occurs to all apps not specific app. The price shows correctly in local currency. I still didn't enter any card number. I've contacted Nokia call center which they received the issue with no response and solution for more than 1 week.

I always use WLAN and am able to access the internet (including the Ovi store page) at all times. However, once I click "download" and it asks for the username and password, it always has the error "Network Error - Please Try Again". I keep trying a few times, and the connection is timed out.I have this cool phone but I can't play any games on it!
