I am unable to login to Nokia store after upgrading to nokia belle. My wifi connection is working fine for everything else. But when I try to login to nokia store it gives me an error that "Unable to Complete the Operation Due to Connection Error."
View 2 RepliesI am unable to login to the Ovi Store on my brand new N78 because I can't sign in to my Nokia.com account. While I can sign in fine on the Internet, I can't press the sign in button below my username and password. I am able to open other links by clicking on them so this is very frustrating.

And then i tried to login to my account on ovi store, it failed too. And i tried to download apps, but the download button doesnt work. What is wrong? What should i do? I need to download stuff.

View 16 Replies View RelatedI have a Nokia E63. When I got it I setup my Gmail and company email on the phone with OVI mail. Everything worked fine. The I decided I want to make changed to the accounts. I removed the gmail account after which the email functionality became useless. I was forced to remove OVI mail from my phone. I reinstalled it and now it is asking for my nokia messaging username and password. I tried and tried but it just don't want to sign in. My company email account was specifically persistant in this mater and even if I got it set up it would ask me for my password to log in.
I soon resorted to deleting my Nokia OVI account in attempt to release the company email from OVI mail. I then created a new OVI account to no avail. I read that I should uninstall OVI store and restart my phone then reinstall OVI store. Now OVI store is completely unable to log in to my account (obviously because the original account is now deleted) Furthermore I am unable to change OVI store's login details. This is a huge mess. Clearly someone hasn't been thinking.
Nokia rebranded Nokia Music store to OVI Music in India. Earlier I had Nokia Music Store account as OVI login was not supported in Nokia Music store. So my Nokia Music account and OVI login were different. Now when login to music.ovi.com and select India as country , I am asked to login. I can login with my OVI id but then dont see remaining tracks and download history. I login with my older Nokia Music account and I can see remaining tracks and History.
Some of my friends report that in their case , their Nokia Music and OVI account are merged and tracks and history details are still there.But this has not happened in my case. Please let me know when Nokia will be able to merge 2 accounts for me. or is there any way I can do it myself? I know that similar thing happened for OVI share and Sports Tracker accounts but they were eventually merged with single OVI account.

After i start music store i can't login or go to main page because when i press those buttons i get error "Music store: Unable to perform operation" Tried to do hard reset and update firmware again with no help. FW: 40.0.005. I think this problem came with this new V40 firmware or shortly after that when i lost email notification from shortcut homescreen.

1. I Log In to the Nokia Store - download apps - no problem.
2. I Log off the Nokia Store ("remember me" option is OFF)
3. While I am Logged off and click on an app to download - I am automatically logged in?
4. Every time when i am logged off and want to download something, the system must ask me at least for a password to provide, but i don't see that option? - Where is it?And one more thing - when i downloaded a "free" app - it wanted to connect to the Internet.didn't read the message, but I think it was some kind of advertisement thing...obviously, i didn't allow it, and couldn't use the app (the risks are more than obvious)
After I selected (delete and restore) from factory setting. And I can't login to ovi store and download anything.

I am frequent traveler and I guess that OVI is not going to pay for the internet while I am roaming.I NEED to get entirely rid of this OVI login screen. The Nokia Maps app does pretty good nav but whereas e.g. TT will accept a postcode like CT16 2AB, Nokia Maps (or Drive as it is called; the Drive app shares the same database with the Maps app) accepts only CT162.
Today I tried to drive from Brighton (UK) to Biggin Hill Airport but Drive could not find Biggin Hill, which is weird. So I used an old Pocket/PC PDA with TT6 to get there. The Nokia apps did not show any roads/streets for a large area around the destination and on the way back it was about half an hour before I reached a map showing roads/streets. I deleted and reloaded the UK map (400MB) from Nokia and that fixed that bizzare issue, but having two ways to do the job is obviously desirable. And TT is a better app with a better database.

I downloaded Skype from OVI and it opens properly etc.but does not allow me to enter my password etc. and then reverts to the main screen. I am with Vodafone UK.

I also checked my product code 0599330 in the Nokia Belle availability page and it says available.
View 9 Replies View RelatedI own a N8 for 1 and half years and very happy with it. I did not upgrade to Belle because I read lots of people that were not satisfied and wanted to go back to Anna.
Problems I read in the forum in various discussions:1) Camera performance in low light has deteriorated, I love my N8 mainly because of the camera
2) Battery life is worse
3) Applications will be lost and I will need to reinstall them all , plus could never get back the Nokia ones I had free through offers
4) The useful and effective Nokia clock/calendar/profile switcher has been showed the door in favor of a Andoid-style clock
5) Widgets are worse or less effective: the email and music widgets are very big that I don't think I will be very happy wasting lots of space with no alternative.
6) Widgets do not change with theme, I have my nice Anna email/music and other widgets that gets transparent or just adapt to the Theme I choose, I haven't seen that on Belle. That ugly email widget for example is always the same , white on blue.
So basically I feel that I give up lots of useful and efficient features just in order to get a OS that is more fluid , has more homescreens and I can move the widgets and shortcuts around??
I have looked around the forum and there are still people not satisfied but most comments are now old.

Its currently on Anna but want to upgrade to Belle so I install the Nokia suite 3.3.86 which is where my issues started. It takes me 20 minutes just to get to the software update tab due to the constant message of not responding! When I get to the update tab I search for updates and says after 10 minutes cannot connect to server. I tried re-installing but seems to be just as bad.I am running a 64-bit pc with high specs so doubt its my computer.
