So I was having issues with getting my usb cable to charge with my phone, and also my phone kept turning on and off, but then netquin antivirus says it has detected multiple startups and has disabled all startup programs, and now my phone will not boot and I cant even recover the data using USB cable. I am unable to do a hard reset because I have alot of important contacts and photos on there...
my nokia e90is not booting up, it is showing the nokia logo and then that charging signal on putting the ac adapter, even tried that hard resetting but it didn't work, now my e90 is a brick.
I can't turn on the phone because the phone stacks in a blank Nokia logo and then turns off. When I try to connect in the PC nothing happens and when I try to put the battery into the device. it turns on by itself and restarting sevaral times. I dont know what kind of problem I am facing.
Something is not right with my N900, I woke up today and found that my N900 is switched off and i try to switch it back on but it wont boot up, it got stuck on the Nokia logo and then thats it, it just goes blank and completely off again, also the LED is glowing lemon-green while the screen is blank and going off. I remember before going asleep that the battery power is on 50% or more.
My recently installed items are Black Plastic Theme, some loopable wallpaper from N900wallpaper website and the multiplayer Super Mario from the Extras-repo which I wanted to try but got really sleepy, also its OC'ed to 1Ghz under ideal settings using Titans kernel.
I tried removing the battery and waited 30 seconds and plugin the USB cable (PC-to-N900 coz thats how I always recharge) and it booted up like everything is okay. Can someone give me an idea of what could be possibly wrong with this coz I was really alarmed and kinda freaked out.
my 5800XM turn off automatically while booting up. To be precise, it turn off when the screen is showing a white background with a blue nokia word in the middle.
are there any benefits to dual booting android? do we get the benefits of it i.e. google maps, the app store and flash 10, or is it merely the visuals?
Installed "enhanced kernel (titan) for power users" from my install list in application manager, as part of trying to get the Mobile Hotspot app to work. I was advised to do so by some very knowledgeable N900 users on this forum. Well...long story short(er)...loading the kernel did not make mobile hotspot work, so I decided to uninstall and revert back to the factory kernel. I did so using the "uninstall" app that came with the titan kernel....the screen went blank about half way through the process,...gave me a message that "kernel couldn't be removed". Thereafter, upon rebooting the phone, the N900 just sits there and reboots, reboots, reboots now...never completing a reboot before rebooting again. Sever has informed me that someone might be able to tell me how to reboot into update mode instead of Maemo for flashing....perhaps being able to just flash the kernel instead of the whole OS,...which I'll do if necessary.
I don't remember exactly what happened, but my phone was quite slow before I rebooted it. After booting, every message in conversations disappeared (text messages and im).Now when I get now messages, those appear normal in those new messages, but when I try to reopen those from conversations, it says no conversations. Even messages I sent doesn't appear there.
i got my n900 the day before i went on a 6 week holiday and initially everything seemed fine, i quite liked using it whilst away. Then after a couple of days i noticed it was rebooting unexpectedly. after a couple of weeks of these silly reboots it just stoped rebooting and it just gets stuck with the white dots. i've read lots of threads that say do this and that but none of the replies seem to be speciic to my issue. I've charged the battery for a couple of hours and tried the boot up with U key depressed but nothing seems to allow it to boot. i am a total linux noob and thought this device might be a useful as an introduction to the OS but i am very dispoainted so far. If i flash the device will i loose all the data that is currently stored on the device, all my recent holiday snaps and videos? i just want to get a working device and not loose all the good memories currently stored on it.
Suddenly one day my nokia E71 phone got switched off. When I tried switching on, it gave me the startup vibration and then display back light, thats it. Its not booting further and not able to get nokia handshake screen.
I tried all the below possible ways to fix this problem, but still no use, nothing is worked for me.
Separating/removing mem card, battery, sim - no useHard Reboot 3, *, Call button- not workedOne day full charging - not workedTried connecting to pc through USb data card - not workedFinally nokia care after 3 weeks they have returned my mobile saying this problem cannot be rapired I have seen this same problem discussed in this forum. But everyone ended up saying contact nokia care.
While playing Superbowl the handset started to behave differently. After exiting the game some questions marks (????) appeared on the desktop and instead of icons there were only little titles there. Tried restarting the handset resulted in failure to do so (not booting).
I have a blackberry curve 8530. It stoped working and just wont power on. I bought a new battery for it and let it charge for about 10 hours. It starts to turn on and boot up but once the loading bar gets 1/16th of the way loaded it shuts down and starts all over again.
My IPhone is not booting up at all. I called up customer care, they told me to press home button & start up button together but nothing happened.
Also, I bought Iphone when I was in US. Now, when I am living in India - None of the authorised apple repair centres are ready to touch the phone. In india Iphones are not repaired, they are replaced directly.
Since, the phone is bought in US, it can be repaired in US only. This is so frustrating. No one had informed me this 10 months back when I was buying the IPhone.
I noticed as I woke up this morning that my Blackberry was dead, completey dead, was not on at all. I tried connecting to the wall outlet, all i get is the red light then it goes back off. At first the red light would be stable as usual when booting up. Now it jus flashes twice then goes off. I tried jus leaving it to charge for a couple of hours...still nothing. i also tried connecting via USB to my laptop, it does not even detect it.
I deletd some apps and rebooted blackberry to complete deletion.since then my blackberry is not booting up. it just doesnt go beyond the rebooting screen.A white screen with blackberry written in blue.
My phone isn't booting up I was updating it and my phone got disconnected from my computer and not it will only get 3/4 of thew way booting and stop, is there anyway to master reset my phone physically or anything that I can do to save it?

my iphone recently started re-booting itself every 30 seconds or so. this will go on all day until the battery dies. i have tried letting the battery run completely flat then re-charing it but it still continues to re-boot on and off the charger. i have also tried to updat my software and restore the phone using itunes, but in both cases when the phone re-boots it is unable to continue with what it is doing as the phone will not stay switched on for long enough to let it complete.
I recently updated my XPeria NEo V with build .587 .It was working fine since last 1 week, but when today I turned on my Bluetooth (this is the first time I have turned on Bluetooth after the update)My phone crashed and it restarted and it hasn't booted up since then! The starting SONY screen comes up, then the Xperia Logo Screen Comes up, and then it restarts all over again!
My phone was working ok until I had to turned it off during the boot process when an important meeting. I turned it off by removing the battery as I didn't it to wait the boot process. After that the phone just don't finish booting up. I can see the blur logo, then goes into the at&t logo. Sits there for few minutes and reboots.
I went to sleep with phone charger on it..Now its not even booting i have tried everything, taking off battery, hard reset(Volume Down + power)WHEN I PLUG MY POWER CORD ... GREEN LIGHT BLINKS AND BLINKS OFF...THATS IT.
Last night I fell asleep with my phone next to me, and I know that this isn't very smart but when I woke up my phone was off and the red led was flashing. When I tried booting it, it did nothing, just flashing it's red light. I tried charging it, but with no succes either. So I have no idea what went wrong. Could it be that I rolled over my phone and that I messed up something inside? I searched the internet looking for solutions and I found out that other people were having the same problem. However, I didn't really find any answers. Then I tried connecting my Blackberry to my computer. The computer did notice my phone was connected, but the Blackberry Desktop Software failed to connect to the phone. It just showed some error.I found out that when I kept the phone charging, with no battery in it, a white immage with a 'no battery sign' appeared. Does that mean something's wrong with my battery?
I have been using 9900 from last 6 months and now when I'm booting my fone, it boots completely and hangs on the desktop screen from atleast half to one hour. During that time only trackpad works but nothing happens. After 30 - 45 mins it starts working. Fone locks itself when backlight goes off. To see if the fone has started working we have to click lock button to see the screen.Have changed os, upgraded with 7.1 then downgraded with 7.0.0.540. Did security wipe, removed all applications. Still nothing is working. After every boot it takes more than 30-45 minutes to work normally.Strange behaviour.
I upgraded the device software for my BB 9700 At&t from 5.0 to 6.0. Shortly, thereafter I started seeing an App Error 200 reset on the device. I tried to reset but it doesn't boot up. What do I do?
My good old Bold 9000 has gone dead! At first I thought it was the battery and I replced it. Now it just flashes at intervals of a minute four flashes until the battery dies. What could be the problem? I tried to do a system restore but its not connecting to the computer.
My blackberry is not booting/starting up. Initially I thought my battery must have depleted, but when I connect my BB to the wall charger the red light at the top right corner pops up, its there for 10 seconds or so. Then the screen shows the phone is charging for 4-5 seconds, post which the screen goes blank, completely blank. I have left it for couple of hours, but nothing happens.
Everytime the charger is disconnected and reconnected the same thing happens.
Even when I connect my BB with the USB cable same things happen - Red light for 10 seconds, shows its charging for 4-5 seconds and then black screen. The phone is not booting/starting up even after I had left it with charger for 2-3 hrs.
My blackberry curve 9360 is not booting, i tried inserting the battery its not booting. i tried charging it but the red led blinks for seconds and then again it gets off. the phone some times starts to boot but blackscreen comes.a battery sign with red cross appears.
