friend has this problem. he tells me that sometime while the phone is in its leather pouch the camera turns on by itself. he has no idea until he takes it out to use. it has a lock code on it. it only happens when its in the pouch. he didn't face that problem before he bought the pouch.have anybody else experienced this problem. i am thinking its the pouch that is somehow activating the camera. the phone fits snug in it. what do you guys think is the cause.
1. when i go to activate Bluetooth it stalls and tells me "unable to perform bluetooth operation". Therefore i cannot enable it.
2. I took a whole bunch of pictures a couple days ago. I use the nokia image software to transfer them, somehow it deleted my pictures from my phone, and none of them to my laptop. The most recent picture came out broken up, but resides perfectally in the phones memory. How is this possible? can i get my pictures back?
-if tried googling the bluetooth problem. havnt found a solution yet -i have done a hard reset. 3 buttons. then loaded my settings back onto the phone. Bluetooth still dosnt want to turn on.
Just picked up a brand new X6.When I try to activate my one year free "comes with music" theres a message saying my pin is not valid for this region..I live in the Netherlands, surely that can't be the problem :-)Any feedback would be nice.O and yes I have entered the correct pin, multiple times I must say..
I have contacted my service provider to unlock my new iPhone 4S, and they said "The iPhone has now been unlocked - Please replace the SIM (use a SIM which has never been used with this iPhone) and connect to iTunes or perform a software restore via iTunes."I then did this, connected my iPhone to Wi-Fi but this message came up: "Your iPhone could not be activated because the activation server is temporarily unavailable. Try connecting your iPhone to iTunes to activate it, or try again in a few minutes."When I connected it to iTunes, the message "We are unable to continue with your activation at this time." came up.I tried again many times, but this message still always comes up. What should I do?
when i bought my new iPhone 4S, i set it up, and got to the homescreen without any sim card at all, but i was playing around with it, and "erased all content" and now it wont let me activate without a SIM...i can't even do it through wifi like i thought...is there any way to do activate without getting an AT&T micro sim?

I bought an iphone 4 on craigslist (dumb idea) and ive went everywhere to activate it and they're telling me its from a different country or something and has to be activated with the original sim.I dont want to go to AT&T because they will not help because im on T-Mobile(even though I used to be with them for a little while

When i switch on the imessage it tells "you will be charged from the network provider",If i click on "ok" it start saying "waiting for activation" and after sometimes it says "sorry imessage unable to activate,try again" and if i click on "NO" for network provider question it gets activated.And also i cant find my "caller id colomn" at "recieve at"option.
I -tunes made me restore the phone, with out the option of back up. So i did because it went to recovery mode. Then it said your attempting to activate a phone that has no sim card. So i went to ATT and bought one. They couldn't get it to activate and said try from your pc in i-tunes or go see Apple. I'm having trouble activating my phone after updating & restoring it.
It was acidently updated to 5.1 and then I had no option but to restore it now its says 'could not activate'.
It was a phone from the UK which was unlocked and now i'm trying to use it on a zimbabwe network.
What do I do if i'm not able to find out the original carrier? And how can I just activate it in the first place (before considering getting it unlocked in any way)
I'm having problems with my iPhone 3Gs. I had it jailbreaked with Redsn0w, then I restored it to the most update iOS through the newest iTunes. I can't get past the activation menu at all. I tried restoring in DFU mode and still no luck, even with using other SIM cards. I tried downgrading to iOS 5.0 and I get "error 60000ms giving up" on the iPhone screen and I can't edit hosts files at all. I'm using Windows Vista too.
My phone was stolen and i recently got it back and took it to the at&t store and got the phone number and sim changed back over but it keeps saying that the iphone is disabled, and to connect to itunes. When I connect to itunes, it says type in the password. But on the phone, the only thing i can do is make emergency calls. How do i get the disabling off?
I received a 4S 16GB black as a gift from my cousin. He bought the Iphone from France with Bouygues operator. But I want to use it in Turkey.I dont know if it is simlocked or not. But when I try to activate it with Turkish GSM card, it is not accepted but signal bar and 3G is working. By the way, I could activate it by Boygues sim card then inserted the Turkish GSM oper. card (Turkcell ) , the name of Turkcell apprared in options >about > operator. I found how to get BIS, but it's saying I need to register or activate my phone. I did the whole thing of finding the host routing table, but nothing is sent.
I have two issues. I took a picture using Nokia camera app which is on default. Some pics didn't save.
Next is when you take picture. When u go to photo albums. You see a link below saying open in Nokia camera. How come pics have that link and others don't? I took some smartcam pics too look at later and can't open it up and do the action shots and other stuff.
While I've sat out for the iPhone, iPhone 3G, and iPhone 3GS, I was unable to get my hands on a launch-day iPhone 4 this year due to work scheduling. I was able to sell my own iPhone 3GS and purchase an iPhone 4 on eBay (yeah yeah). Well, its coming tomorrow morning and it just hit me that I have a SIM card and it has a (blank, I know, I did some searching) Micro-SIM card.
Will I be able to just plug it into iTunes and activate on my account? I just bought an iPhone 4S UNLOCKED on March 2012 in Austin, TX.
I bring it to Brazil, but when I try to use my carrier's SIM card the iPhone locks the system saying "Only compatible SIM cards from a supported carrier my be used to activate iPhone. insert the SIM card that came with your iPhone or visit a supported carrier". When I try to use AT&Ts SIM card (that came with the iPhone but doesnt work here in Brazil) the iPhone unlocks the system. I just want my unlocked iPhone....
My Cousin sent me an iphone 4s from england network 3 . now he said that he have requested to Unlock Iphone Through IMEI . The managment said ok we will unlock in 48 hours and we'ill send u a confirmtn msg but they didnt . then he called them again and they said we want 48 more hours and even after that no msg was sent to my cousin. i m living in oman(middle east) . now i want to know that the iphone will be unlocked when i will insert sim and do the activation step and then they will send that msg for what im waiting or i should wait for the msg then iphone will b unlocked ? ?
