Nokia :: N97 - Cannot Send MMS

Over the past week and a half, I have been having problems sending MMS
I was trying to send pictures (size around 120kb) over the ATT network
Before I have had zero issues, it always goes through immediately
Well I started to have problems, I checked and all my MMS settings were normal.
I have the unlimited text plan, but no data but again no problems before
Once time the phone did say data packet unavailable or cannot download data packet.

I have a Nokia 5530 XpressMusic that is 3 months old And I've had no problems with it until recently.It has come to my attention that When I send smiley faces or winks such as ^___^ or ^___~, the ^ and ~ signs do not show up to whomever i send the text message to and only the underscore ___ is seen by the reciever. In my inbox it shows those symbols but in the reciever's inbox it's just an underscore. I'm not sure if that happens to other characters since i mainly use those two.I update the software/firmware (I'm not familiar with the terminology) frequently. So I'm not sure if this problem is just the phone that I recieved or if not all phones could recieve the ^ /~ sign (i doubt it though).

My nokia 6600slide cannot send any SMS never ever but can send the same SMS as MMS only so that cost me a lot from my credit I try to return to factor system and make update to my phone but it still as it was can anyone help me

Quick question I have a nokia N95 phone but it wont let me send messages it puts them in the outbox, says a resend time then says failed and comes up with un able to send... When I press details it says "General: memory full. Close some applications and try again".... I have no applications
open and have pressed and held the menu button to check and defiantly don't. I have turned it off And on, re installed message settings, deleted stuff, even reinstalled factory settings and its still not working id much appreciate some help. It did the same thing on Tuesday but was fine when I woke up Wednesday morning. It did it again 10pm Wednesday night and is still the same and its Friday xx I have posted this message on facebook and got told to ask here. I don't know if there is already a topic on this, but I really want to sort this problem out. I have always had Ionians and they have usually been very reliable...

after upgrading to nokia belle on my n8 when i tap on the image to send it via bluetooth or mail it takes long time for it give the options of bluetooth, mail or msg ...it shows processing for a long time ....which wasnt the case with nna....nokia any updates on tht????

Is there any program for Mac and Nokia N97 mini to handle and send sms and such on screen, as can be done with PC Suite on PC? I tried Fonelink but it doe not wotk with N97.

I bought Nokia E63 on April 2009 from australia and now a days i m stay in my own country. my phone can't send SMS. it says "unable to send messages." and the details says "MEMORY FULL CLOSE SOME APPLICATIONS"...

I can't seem to send any messages w/ a picture. Its really quite annoying. I've never had this problemwith my N97 or E90. But when I got my E72 I can't receive or send any. and when I try to send one it just stays in the outbox saying "resend at this this time" but when it gets there it just prolongs the time even more.

I have just recieved my new E63 today, and it is all going swimingly- the phone can make phone calls, use the internet, recieve texts, however I CANNOT SEND TEXTS.I have endlessly tried to configure the texts, changing the message centre etc. i've run through the troubleshoot guide on the 3 website nothing has worked and i got tired of waiting 20 mins for customer service.

My wifes Nokia N79 has recently started putting sent messages in her outbox saying that it will try to re-send then fails to send them at all. She got the phone 2nd hand which was originally on T-Mobile network but she is on O2. I have tried taking her sim card out and putting in my phone and it works fine.She has had a couple of messages back form a few people saying that they got the same message 45 times yet she never gets a delivery report! Does anyone know if this is a handset issue rather than a network issue or have any advice whatsoever?

i have N97 v21, and im trying to send a picture to my laptop with windows 7 , the phone says that it's unable to send every time i try.when i've repaired my phone and laptop, many of the devices that were automaticly installed were faild in installtion.does anybody knows this problem ? do i need drivers for windows 7 so the BT file tranfer will work ?

I had no problem with sending sms till I sent MMS once and it didnt work. The symbol of moving envelope just came up in the upper part of display and it didnt disapeared since. From that moment I cant send any SMS or MMS, I can recieve them but not send. I tried to reset phone, change my sim but the problem is still the same - I cant send sms or mms and the symbol of envelope is still there. My memory isnt full and everything seems to be fine.

I had already reflashed my N8 3 times as of now on a nearest nokia care (I still thank it, coz its still under warranty)... But the prob "can't send SMS" still returning... It took a week and again... What's the prob on this N8 unit of nokia? They don't care about this? I think my N8 is nuts! I can't use it well... I had a already made other ways to overcome but still keep returning..

Every time i go to send a message, eventually it will come up with "Unable to send message: (Contact Name)"
and so i click DETAILS and it says:"General:Memory full. Close some applications and try again" but i have no applications open.It randomly started doing this about 4 o clock (so about 6 hours ago)

I can receive email but I cannot reply to it since I cannot send out messages. I have reported this over the phone to a Nokia Hotline but no solution has been found. In one of my trips to Manila I went to a Nokia Care Center in SM MOA and they also said nothing is wrong with my phone ,they claim that with their own sim card they can send and receive messages . So Again I went Smart Iloilo Philippines where they also told me nothing is wrong with the with the operator settings.
I really don't know where to turn to; I got this E75 because I need the push email services badly. My user name in the Nokia messaging is and my Cel phone number is. Is this a software or hardware problem and has anybody encountered a similar problem

I buy E52 two days ago and i have a lot questions; at the first:
I have big problem with sending emails because i can't. I have personel mail account with my hosting and i retrieve all messages from my inbox but i can't send a mail.
I tried gmail account and it's works fine..
I configured my account with pop and imap (my mail server supports both). Both configuration retrieve mails but didn't sent! Always same error "Unable to send message: Name Surname <email@account.com>"
By the way I'm from Turkey and in the Turkey smtp 25 port is closed, we're using #587 port and i configured at the email account installation.

Nokia Email Messaging has been working ok for 3 months but has just stopped working, Have done all the normal stuff - soft reset , cancelled account and made a new account but I cant recieve or send any email at all. I have Gmail accounts , Yahoo and Ovi but none of them work.I have noticed when you go into settings for one of the accounts and look at the username and password for the Nokia Email Account , in the Password box it always shows `NONE` I have tried to put in my password several times but it always reverts to NONE. Is this correct? It seems it cant save the password ?
The only thing I havent tried is a hard reset but thats a last resort.

When you click on 'contact us' it takes you to a page where there is a panel ' call or email Nokia Care'. You can put in your area but that’s it. you cant send a message to Nokia care. So why do they pretend that you can. Yours disgruntled as usual.

I have a recurring problem with my N95 8gb, I can't send any texts. It started by sending the same text repeatedly until I deleted from the outbox. After a while I couldn't send texts at all, I get a error message stating that my memory is full which is not the case. I temporarily fixed this by deleting a message in my sent box and switching off the handset and when I turned on the phone again it would send the message. Although this was very annoying it worked normally for a while but now this method doesn't work anymore. What can I do to solve this? I've tried to update the firmware, tried both soft and hard reset. I have 85.3M empty RAM, 40,6M empty phone memory and 5,9gb empty on the mass memory.

Yestarday i sent a text message to a friend after topping up 10. by last night she had recieved the same text over 80 times and my credit had ran out. after that my texts wouldnt go through at all (even free texts from my umlimited o2) i phoned o2 and they put 10 back on for me and gave me 100 free texts to any network and told me to try another o2 card in my phone, i did and it still wouldnt work so its the phone.... i can phone out by when i try to text it goes straight to my outbox rather than sent messages and says resend. nothing will go through to any number at all. does anyone have any ideas what it could be? i dont want to have to send it off and wait ages! ive tried factory settings and still the same.

seem to have this occassional glitch when I'm using Mobile Mail on my 5800. I have it linked to my Yahoo.ca account via Rogers ISP (Canada). I can log on to my Yahoo mail, read it and reply, but occasionally when I reply to an email it wont send, it wont cancel, it won't do anything. So....it's when I choose to reply to an email, I'm able to enter the reply, but its when I choose OK, nothing happens. If I choose cancel, nothing happens. I have to restart the phone to get that window to close!!
Software vers. V31.2.101.
Updating Firmware and Software via USB -> Internet show no updates available.

My N79 no longer sends the text messages I write...
I was in Kenya for 4 weeks, it worked fine there both with my regular sim card and a Kenyan one. When I got to the airport in Istanbul I could no longer send messages.
I tried again in Munich and then when I got back home to Sweden- still doesn't work!
I downloaded an upgrade to see if that would work but nope- still nothing.
