Nokia :: N900 - External Memory / 32GB SDHC Card
Mar 9, 2010Has anybody experimented with an additional 32GB SDHC card? Did it work? I am just curious to find out if instead of using an additional 16GB, a 32GB can be used?

Nov 2, 2010my first post here. I've had problems with a 32Gb card, don't know if the problem is the card or the "SDHC" standar. If I change to the 8Gb card that came with the mobile everything works fine.If I copy music to the phone via media sync or just dragging files only few of the files appear in the phone. i.e: For a 10 track album I only see 4 songs.Also having problems with pictures or videos, the files seems to be corrupted. Any ideas? I'm using Snow Leopard + Sony ericsson Media Sync. Also tried Saling Media Sync.Vivaz software version: 1224-4699_R2CA026

Aug 23, 2010I just got my N900 about 2 days back, my sister dropped it and it would not turned on. I flashed it, and now it turns on but it does not recognize my internal memory card. I don't have an external card. I can't use camera, all websites show blank, and I get low error messages on almost everything else due to this.
If I go to settings/memory the the device memory is full and available memory for installable applications is at 80 MB. There is no corrupt memory card message. Also if I go to backup utility I get a "no memory card inserted" message. Any suggestions?

Jun 28, 2010Currently looking at an A-DATA class 10 32gb SDHC Flash memory card, would this work and would all 32gb be readable? I read that OS 4 only read up to 16gb. I'm sure I don't need that much memory right now, but I'd rather get it now, then later if it is compatible.

I do have two questions about downloading music to the phone via MotoCast.1.) Is there a way to designate downloads to go to the External SD card instead of internal memory? It seems like it will only go to internal memory until you max it out and it gives you the option to move things to the external card. This seems like a silly step, couldn't it just go directly to the external card?2.) My music displays in playlists when streaming from my computer, but when I select download a playlist and disconnect from the computer (in a no-data environement) the playlist disappears and all of my music is just dumped into the app unoragnized. Is there a way to maintain the playlist after data is dropped and you can't access your computer?

Feb 14, 2010I am having this X6 for a month now. I always encounter "memory full, application will be closed". Am not sure, about the phone memory still having ~150MB, isn't that enough? Or I should really uninstall all the apps and reinstall those into the mass memory?
another thing is,my facebook app seems to me is corrupted. I couldn't sign in as it will prompt "application error, restart might help". I try to look for the application so i can reinstall but it prompt me saying that application is not available for X6! Jun 22, 2011i own a 5800 and when i tried to access to the memory card through the file manager it says the card was corrupted. but when i inserted the card in a memory card reader, it works accept that i cant eject it and a pop-up window came out saying an error occured while ejecting the card. it is a 8Gb memory card. i found a solution similar to my situation but is there any other alternative ways that doesn't require me to download huge files?
