View 5 RepliesNeed Help/Suggestion from Mobile Gurus right here .I have 1 Year Old N73 ME and I mainly use it for Calling and Texting. Very Occasionally I use it for Music/Gaming and Browsing the Web.The phone is completely in excellent condition
The problem is that: While charging ONLY the Battery gets too much HOT and it never shows Battery is Full (Charged it for Max 1 Hour 45 Minutes) This problem suddenly appeared, so I formatted the Memory Card as well as Hard Format/Reset the Phone, but still the Battery is heating too much
After disconnecting the Phone from Charger, the Battery is FULL and I can use it without any problem and as usual. The Talktime right now is around 2.5 Hours and Standby time is around 2-3 Days
I have had the E71 for almost 2 years without any problems. The battery low sign now comes on after 3hrs and the phone then powers off.I have replaced the battery for a new unit and tried using a friends battery but it still powers off after 3hrs when its been on charge overnight. The only way I can keep it on is by leaving on the charger.
View 7 Replies View RelatedI have a problem with N97 mini device. The device does not quit the charging of the battery when it's fullycharged. You can leave it charging for 24 hours and still the battery bars are moving and the LED near usb port lights. It doesn't matter if I charge with the AC-10E charger or via USB, the same problem happens. The battery seems to be charging cause when I unplug the charger the battery bars are full and I can use the phone for a day or little bit more. The main thing is that, there is no "beep" and no information that "your battery is fully charged". I have the newest software for mini 11.0.045. and hardreset does not help. What can it be? is this a software bug? can this damage the battery?
View 4 Replies View Relatedi have a blackberry bold 9700 v 5.0.0.862 ( bundle 1446, platform 5.1.0.175 I fully charged my battery monday night, unplugged it before going to sleep. When i woke up the phone was turned off, when i turned on i got a white screen with a battery with a red line through it but no blackberry loading screen.I didn't know what was wrong so i plugged phone in to charge a bit. when there was no change i unplugged it and held the power button. After many many many attempts to turn it back on finally i got the BB loading screen. The battery had full power when I finally got it turned back on.I used the phone throughout the day but come suppertime the battery was still full so i went to a friends. Halfway through dinner the phone displayed " BATTERY DRAINED TURNING OFF HANDHELD " .
Got home plugged in, turned back on and battery was 50%. I charged it to 100% and unplugged it before going to sleep. Woke up this morning to ringing phone i answered it had the chance to say hello then it displayed " BATTERY DRAINED TURNING OFF HANDHELD " !!! Went to turn back on got the battery screen again , finally after an hour or more of trying to turn back on it finally loaded and guess what?? THE BATTERY IS SITTING AT 100%!!I don't know what's going on but my phone keeps saying the battery is drained and the phone turns off but the battery is still full.
I have just got my Lumia 800 and seems pretty fancy. But still one thing which really bothers me a lot. The battery life! I have update to WP7.5 on day 1. System information as below:
OS version 7.10.8107.79
Firmware version : 1600.2487.8107.12070
The thing is, I unplugged the charger at 9 in the morning and when it came to around 9 in the night. The battery is critical low. I just made few calls, text and no more than 10 mins twitter stuff and the battery is done? My iphone could even stand for 1 day with this usage. I tried everything, reset the fone. But seems not working.
How do I get my battery notification to come up when the battery is full?? I know it use to do that but now I can't find where it went to?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI posted a bit ago that I was using my phone and it had more than 1/4 battery left and it suddenly shut off from drained battery only to charge it and have it act normal . Well, just a bit ago I was charging my phone ( it was at 45%)and I shut it off n turned it back on and the battery was fully charge.
View 14 Replies View RelatedWhen I put my phone on the charger at night.. I'm waking up to only a 65-70% charge. Thats as far as it gets. I've tried changing from the stock cord.. To my alternate (new) cord.. And nothing. I have three extra battery's and all are doing the same. I'm also dealing with a significant amount of heating up of my phone too. All apps are closed frequently and especially before bed.
View 6 Replies View RelatedMy last iPhone started having some battery issues about a year after owning it.With the iPhone 4, is it safe to charge the phone every night despite how far into draining the battery it is? Or should I always try to run the battery down if possible?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI think it's nearly unanimous that LG and AT&T have ruined the lock screen notifications with the 5.01 update. Here is something else that's beyond annoying. When it's charging and hits 100%, it will give a battery full notification and a sound with it. Then a few minutes later it will give it again, and again, and again.
View 4 Replies View RelatedMy battery Inidcator in the top right of the screen on my nokia e72 is always full and never drops?I installed Ion Battery Timer and it says battery was at 57% after a day or so of usage. but meanwhile the battery indicator says it full?
Ive tried flashing and hard-resetting the phone but nothing changes?
Ive owned the phone since the first of feb this year, and just noticed this now.
how you would rate my phone's battery performance. My usage stats when my phone was at 1% battery were:
Usage: 7 hours 15 minutes
Standby: 16 hours 33 minutes
-Wifi on for about 3 hours
-1 exchange push email
-Brightness about 40%
-1-2 hours of games
-An hour iPod
-20 minutes 3G talk time
-Texting/Checking twitter
I have a storm 9530 which has worked alright for me for a little over a year now. Then one day my phone started shutting down on me in the middle of any kind of use. To be more specific if I am on the phone making a call, I can go no longer than 10-20 minutes before my phone shuts down on me on a full battery! It will be at 100% then when I start to do things like make a phone call, or do some texting for 10-20 minutes none stop, use an app of any sort for more than 10 minutes, basically any kind of extended use and my phone will shut down on me. Then it will start to reboot and sometimes it will turn back on but then will have only 20% battery or other times it can't even start back up until a battery pull and being plugged into a charger. Now I have my phone almost always on a charger whenever I need to use it and it is getting really annoying having it shut down all the time. The phone does get hot at times when running these apps, music, phone call etc...What is going on here?? Has my phone gone bad? Do I just need a new battery? I am running the v5.0.0.328 (platform 4.2.0.128).
View 3 Replies View RelatedI've had my torch since june and recently it's started saying battery drained and shutting down even though theres still half the battery left.
View 1 Replies View RelatedHad my M8 for 2 weeks now and at first the battery was terrible as I could barely get 12 hours out of the phone. After a hard reset, its now up to 30-35 hours with about 6-7 hours screen time. First of all, is this normal or is this still lacking? The most I got was 50 hours with 3 hours screen time and about 15% left on the battery before charging. I don't use the power saver feature on the phone.
Secondly, I have noticed that when I charge my phone to full, between 100% and 88%, the battery drains extremely quickly. It takes a third less time to drop a percent than below 88%. After that point the battery drain seems to be normal and fairly slow.
Android System UI 4.4.2-D85010d. 1403173065 seems to be the culprit. Can't seem to force stop.

Just about a week ago, I started getting notifications when the phone is plugged in and the battery is fully charged. How do I stop this? I looked through the sound & notification setting and can't find it.

I have had the phone about a month now been working fine until today, it wont even turn on. the battery was half full and it just turned off and now wont turn back on well it tries to it vibrates! and that's it.
View 9 Replies View RelatedAfter about a month, my new iPhone 5s has started waking me up at night with an audible tone and vibrating. This seems to happen when the battery reaches 100% charge. Since iOS 7 apparently doesn't have a full battery alarm I stumped about how to disable this. I've thought about using the "Do no disturb" mode but I sometimes use my phone as my alarm and don't want DND to also silence the alarm. Is there some feature I don't know about that I could turn off to stop these nightly disturbances? (It hasn't always done this but just started about a week ago!)

My battery used to fail on me at 15% and later on sometimes even at 30+% (After 8+ hours stand-by/usage). But since a few days (also after updating to iOS8) it just dies after 3 hours and sometimes it indicates it has about 70% left. The fact it only gets worse makes me think it's the battery. It's slowly dying.
But updating to iOS8 seems to have made it worse. So it could also be a software problem. Is it worth the try to change to a new battery first before restoring the iphone etc.?When I plug it in to charge it has the same % as when it died.

I drained my battery and plugged it in. Every time I put the battery back in or plug it in, the red light stays on for about 10-20 seconds and then the charging symbol comes up on the screen, but it won't power on.Also, when I plug into computer it recognizes that a device is connected but I cant update software through the Blackberry desktop software.
