Nokia :: Mfe "Try Again Later" Error Work Around

I got the "System Error. Try again later" error appear for the first time on Sunday night after 8 happy months running on my E71, this morning I blew away the existing Mail for exchange install (v3) and re-installed it again directly from the ovi store seemed to work for a little while then died. Tried full re-synch, again worked for a little while and died.I haven't worked out how to fix the problem but I did come up with a workaround that lets you keep operating in a pinch, here's what I did:
1. Delete the certificate
2. Go into Mfe and launch a sync
3. When prompted to install the untrusted certificate choose to accept once (not always)
It will now sync on on a manual sync without errors, as long as you always say "once" you can continue to use this method. If you choose the "always" option it will fail again pretty quickly if not immediately and you'll need to go delete the certificate again.I assume a proper signed certificate might fix this but it used to work so Im reluctant to buy one for this reason, I can only hope Nokia can fix this sooner rather than later. Especially considering that the iPhones in the office work so well.

I have just bought an E66 and am having problems with getting the caller ID function to work.I have stored my contacts with the country code before the number. However, when people call me, it does not show them as a saved contact, it just shows the number.This is frustrating and is a continuation of a long list of problems with my E66. I would say that the E66 is not the best phone I have used from Nokia.Can anyone please offer some suggestions on how to make my saved contacts show up on screen when they are calling me?

I updated my N97, and after that my phone did not work properly, the old version was 2.0 and the new is 2.1, the charging light did not work and i get black screen when i turn my phone on.

Problem 1:
The camera doesn't work. I open the camera application with both methods (button on side and icon in apps) but it does the red dot thing in the corner for about 4-6 seconds then disappears and applications tells me the app is running. I try to go to the app but it wont go on it.
Problem 2:
The green key, dialler and contacts icon on the home screen do not work at all. I have no way of opening my dialler as there is no option for it.
I updated my firmware to v40.0.005 last week. Please be aware the problems were both there BEFORE i made the update and are still here after the update.Is there any way of doing this without soft/hard resetting. Also, does soft/hard reset mean you lose the data in an app (eg your high scores in a game like bagatelle)?

After applying the iOS 5.1.1 update to my wife's iPhone 3gs, it no longer works. Trying to do a restore fails with an Error 37. The Apple Store says it's a hardware error. Why would it be a hardware error, when it was working perfectly fine before the update?

I thought everyone might like this one. My wife has incredible problems with the proximity sensor on her i4, and last night she came up with a solution. I thought it was pretty clever, so I am passing it on here. She said that when she was in a call somehow she got switched to contacts (we all now how this happens, but she was unsure what she had done to make it happen) and had the green bar at the top (press to go back to active phone call bar). I explained she had gone into the contacts section of the phone while on a call. She found that since the phone activities were no longer on the screen, no more mutes, hang-ups, face dials, etc. occurred for her no matter what she did. So for the time being her resolution (although this is basic, it will work for everyone) is to leave the active call, while still on the call, to keep the phone actions from being activated by her face while on a call. it works for her, makes her happy, and we were able to talk for an hour without any of the past problems (she is across the country and no where near an Apple store to have them look at it, so in the meantime this will work for her). So if you find yourself in this position, it may be a handy work around in the meantime while waiting for the official fix from Apple. I just though it was a clever idea (usually she doesn't think about things like this) and since it works for her and enables her to make calls without problems, I am ecstatic (at least maybe she will stop complaining about the issue, yet I have to remind her that SHE was the one that wanted the phone so bad, and now she has it so bad!)

Just got the new 9700 and everything works except the app world. Personal email works, blackberry messenger works, just not the app world. I downloaded it and i get an error message which is as follows (upgrade your service to a plan that includes browsing and discover a world of possibilties at BlackBerry App World. Contact your service provider for more details). I have the blackberry personal plan, I can browse the internet, but the app world still wont work. I know its not a location issue because my coworker has the Bold 9000 and the same plan as me and his works fine. I have also tried unistalling and reinstalling the app, hard shock etc etc. So what the heck is the issue.

Had issues for a couple weeks now and basically now WiFi connection is useless for it. Tried resetting the router, cleaned the sim, checked net speeds, closed apps etc and have a constant problem. One of the reasons I got the Z5 was the remote play for the PS4 and I think I've been able to use it twice. Every other time states connection too low. Can't watch YouTube on it states connection error. Can't even WhatsApp half the time.

Encounter error with the xperia z3 weather widget ?
The auto detection of location does not work. I have set the update interval to every 2 hours.
Before i left for work the location on the weather widget is "Kampong San Teng"
When i reach office and after 2 hours the location is still "Kampong San Teng" only when i manually go to weather widget and tap on use my location then it will change to "Buona Vista".

I have a noia lumia 710, and whenever I connect my windows phone , zune opens but then an error message prompts. could someone please help me with this problem. I have just bought a nokia 5800 comes with music phone. When i run the disk everything installs untill i get to nokia music which fails due to this error :

I am hopeless with computers, but i know i have all the system requirements as iv had the full nokia package on this pc before when i had an n96, i then deleted it all when i changed phones.

For the last several weeks neither the WiFi nor the Bluetooth will turn on. When selecting to turn on WiFi is starts to turn on then stops and displays Error. About 75% of the time after attempting to turn on the WiFi the phone will reboot. I have factory reset the phone and the WiFi and Bluetooth will work once after the reset but once the phone sleeps neither WiFi nor Bluetooth will operate. This is even after a power down. I have checked my settings and can't find anything that would cause this.

I am having an issue with a weird error code that I have gotten since day 1 of owning my torch. Everytime I do a BP when the phone boots up I am getting an error that says, "122 Error Invalid Number. Please re-send using a valid 10 digit mobile number or valid short code. Activatet=6"
I get this same error code when trying to set up my visual voicemail. When someone leaves a message I get that 122 Error as well as another error sent from 1000000000 that just has a garbled message. My VVM has been reset twice by at&t and I have been told that everything is provisioned correctly. I was hoping that .214 would fix this issue but still it persists.

I use N86 "Integrated GPS" as the only positioning method.N86 takes at least 2 min to locate satellite signals. In contrast, my Garmin GPS takes about 40 seconds.In the car, the N86 GPS does not appear very good because the connection with the satellite constantly drops. I suspect that the GPS receiver is weak. My Garmin is superior.The N86 GPS was tolerable until I upgraded my software version to 20.115. NOW, I GET NO CONNECTION AT ALL, even under clear open sky. The warning message "GPS works poorly indoors and in enclosed area" just exacerbates my frustration.Also, the GPS receiver can completely drain a fully charged battery in about one hour.Does anyone have a solution to my NO CONNECTION problem?

Using a Nokia E72. When I plug the standard OEM headset in, it comes up with 'use phone microphone' and the mic on the headset does not work.
This headset works fine with a Blackberry so it is not the headset...
Why would I want to use the phone "microphone" when I have a dedicated mic in my headset?
Changing the default accessory from headset (which is what it is now) to Headphones (or any other option) does not work.
I want to use the mic on my headset

i bought a used e71 and it has still the 110fw on it so today i decided to upgrade.But i can't the usb connection to get working (BT syncing works well).i'm connecting with CA-101 provided, no hubs or rear usb ports (tried many)
what happens is:
on the phone prompts mode selection.. all regular
on pc nothing happens, no sound, no "unknown device" listed in Control Panel's Device Managerobviously i've installed pc suite last version, tried to reinstall it (by also cleaning with the tool), tried ovi suite, tried a different pc (XP SP2) and it's all the same.I've also tried to *#7370# my phone, but the problem its still there.

Just got a nokia e72, its the first phone of this type that I have tried so I don't know if the following are supposed to happen or not.
1: Nokia messaging won't work it says I have to check the inbox manually (this isn't a massive problem a press of the message key and I am in the inbox folder - so 2 presses rather than one is no big deal). The problem is that the inbox in question keeps disconnecting (yes I do have signal) so doesn't tell me when I have new email.
2: Following on from 1 when I send an email it always asks me what type of connection I want to use yet I have set it to default 'WAP contract' so it shouldn't ask should it.
3: Web sites open very slowly, now I am not expecting laptop speeds here but my nokia 6300 opened pages quicker.
4: Is it normal that when you remove the sim card and then put it back in you have to do the whole phone set up thing, its getting very annoying as I use the sim in a couple of phones and you don't have to do this in any of the others.
5: It keeps stopping me from downloading things and when it does this asks me to contact the service administrator - **bleep**?!?!?. I am only downloading nokia apps.
The main reason I ask these questions is that I had a nokia e72 about a month ago and none of the above seemed to happen on it but I only had it for 2 days as the casing was cracked and I sent it back. This new one I only got last week.
