I have just starting using Lumia 900 and entered a wrong birthday date by mistake, and the system considers me as under age for several applications like using the Marketplace. How can I edit and change the birthday from my cellphone?

View 16 Replies View RelatedFor some reason all the birthdays in the phone contacts shows day later than it is on my windows live contacts? So in Windows live a contacts birthday is correct, but in the phone it shows incorrectly day later. How is this possible as my phone gets the contact cards from the Windows live and they should be the same? I have checked the time zones and all match.

The Birthday Calendar added on the iOS4 could be a nice feature. When i go on my calendars list, i have 3 calendars among which the new birthday calendar just added on iOS4...the only issue it that it is BLUE like one of my other calendar. How can i change the color?

My problem is that the owner name is my back-up/alternate e-mail. I do have a primary gmail account which I used when I set up the phone. How do I change or edit myself as the owner?

Afterwards, I noticed that there has been some discussion (since 2010) around the issue that notifications in respect of birthdays is not possible from the contact list on this handset (that is without paying and installing a third party app to solve the problem.) My question is then: Why does the contact list even allow for input regarding birthdays? Really what is the purpose of this? Does anybody use this in some way? I do not use the phone's calender and it will be a tiresome exersise to update the odd 232 birthdays manually from my contact list to the calander, to get notifications.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI cannot understand why a phones camera software does not allow the user to lower the resolution below the max resolution.The Lumia 710 only allows 5MP res. in 4:3 format. WHY?? And I cannot find an app that easily allows the res. to be lower than 5MP.Is there anything in the works, ie. camera software update that will allow for lower resolution pics? I use this feature for work and 1.3MP was sufficient for my needs, and when archiving my photos didn't take up 1+MB per pic on my hard drive.I may have to go back to my C7 belle.

View 2 Replies View RelatedThis is a really trivial question compared but for some strange reason the app menu that you get when you swipe right in the main menu, started showing these search letters as dividers in the app list. I think they are a horrible waste of screen space but I can't find any menu where to actually change anything.The dividers are similar as in the phonebook but they are actually useful there since I have about 300 contacts there and only a few apps.

So I have contacts that have two numbers with *31# and without.... But when sending txt message it tries to use this *31# number and text messages don't go anywhere...
