Oct 6, 2012I had installed what's app in my lumia 610..ND the speed to load it nd open it is very slow since the day I had installed it..how can I overcome this problem?

Mar 30, 20121. when configuring linked mailboxes all may GMail emails appear before my mails from other IMAP account (which maks inbox totally usless)
2. I would like to be alble to search all my emails that are in inbox so I selected downloda emails: all(my translation may be not accurate) is sync settings. That coused the phone to download all my emails from my google account that is approx. 10000 messages. Now the search function in mail app is super slow (like 30 seconds to display anything). I changed the sync options to sync only emails from last month but it didnt change anything.

Jan 5, 2013Is it just me or is the downloading of apps via WiFi really slow? Works fine on mobile network and browsing the web on WiFi works normally too, it's just downloading apps that's slow. Just reset my phone to fix my GPS (which seems to work now), at this rate it'll be a long time before my apps are downloaded again.

However charging with the Nokia charger 1.8A is fine though. But, I remember it used to charge fine with most places, only recently I noticed the message showed up more frequently. Also, any app like Ampere on Android for windows phone? It is useful to see the actual amp during charging.

Jun 24, 2015I have a new (to me) Lumia 1020 and while it is fast and fluid everywhere else, web pages sometimes take forever (sometimes as long as 15 seconds) to load. Often it is the first visit to a page after opening IE, but not always.
I am on a VERY fast WiFi connection that is capable of 120Mb/s and tests at about 50Mb/s using a speed test app on the phone. Other PCs on the same WiFi network do not exhibit ANY page load delays.
The issue seems the same whether I am on WiFi or cell data (ATT LTE with a strong signal).
Data Sense is set to NOT compress web pages, but the issue seems the same if I enable web page compression.
Why web pages take so long to load... sometimes? It is the only issue I have with WP8.1.

I activated my insider on the phone. It showed the update. So I updated the phone. NICE!!!!!! I thought. My laptop, on wifi is about 30gb/sec download. My phone? about 500kbps/sec down.

May 1, 2015I'm trying to transfer videos and music to and from my 1520.
I plug the phone into the USB cable, the phone software launches, select explorer, navigate to my sd card, wait for it to refresh, goto the camera folder and wait forever for thumbnails to draw. When I start to scroll through all the photos and videos, I barely get to the videos I want to transfer on to my pc.
Most of the time I give up and upload them to onedrive and download them, which is just stupid way to transfer files.
Lumia 1020 :: Internet Connection Extremely Slow Using WiFi
Jul 27, 2013The internet connection on my 1020 is extremely slow when WIFI is connected (every other device I own is fine and can easily clear 30 meg download, 5 meg up.) When I use search, the phone screen times out and shuts off before returning any results (times out after 1 minute). I have reset the phone this morning to start over but the problem remains. The speed is perfect using Data and WIFI off, but once WIFI is enabled, the internet comes to a near halt.

Nov 13, 2014My girlfriend's Lumia 1020 is unbelievably slow. It takes forever to load apps like Messenger or WhatsApp, etc.
Any app in general. Just really slow to load up. It's also laggy sometimes.
WP is a really efficient system, so there must be a software-related fix, as the hardware is still good. She is running WP 8.1 Developer Preview. She doesn't have a ton of apps, and she closes her apps after using them. I know she doesn't have a lot of space left of storage, around 1.2 GB, but it's something.

Oct 22, 2014Already got the Denim update for the 1020? At first I thought my 1020 has the faux Denim update, but I have the live folders and apps corner per the update. When I bought the phone, I just updates incessantly without reading the descriptions.
Some webpages loads quite slow on the Denim update. I thought the update supposed to speed up mobile webpages? Mobile websites which uses a fancy navigation like joystiq.com loads quite slow and incomplete. Also, some pictures load slower than what I expected on desktop mode, and I'm using wi-fi for connection. Is it normal?

Lumia Icon :: Battery Won't Charge Or Very Slow To Charge Drops Quickly
Nov 25, 2015I just picked up two new nokia icons off ebay.. it was listed as new at least.. came in a box etc..
If i plug it in to charge.. it charges at about 1% per hour if that.. turn the screen on and it drops several percent,. use it unplugged and it rapidly discharges maybe 15% or more in a very short period of time.
Im guessing i got a bad batch?
Its very odd that both phones exhibit the same behavior.. and just for kicks i left 8.1 on one and put 10 on the other.

Jan 22, 2010My phone has gotten to where when I am typing a text message it'll get so slow and almost freeze up and just stop and I got to wait and let it come back before I finish. I am running .131 on my Alltel 8330. Also, the 507 error I believe it is, happens to me a lot & I have had to completely reinstall the whole OS so many times. My battery doesn't really last very long at all. It doesn't compare to many that I hear about & my signal just isn't that great. Sometimes it runs good & won't really be that slow or lag but these past couple days it has been lagging bad & even with scrolling. Memory is NOT an issue I can reboot up with 45 & it'll go down to around 39 throughout the day.
I've tried .127 OS that my phone came with, used .131, used a hybrid before and tried .169 but the notification problem is too annoying.

Aug 11, 2010I have Nokia E72 and i have a lot problems with it. Phone just freezes on random time, when i unlock keyboard, sent sms or end a call. Sometimes it freezes during a call. Screen slowly shutdown and then it just turns on again. Automatically turns off when i hit it at something. I don't know what's wrong, it was on service, but they didn't fix a problem. Phone is very slow when i have saved messages. (i got them like 300) but when i delete them it's fast again. Anybody got the same problem?
