Feb 19, 2010I recently downloaded some themes for my n97 mini from The OVI store. The themes are pretty good but I am facing a peculiar problem every time I download and install a theme. After sometime, whenever I unlock the screen, rather than The home screen popping up, The calling screen pops up i.e.. The screen which is displayed when I am on a call. The right and left selection keys show dialer and options respectively and the screen itself is blank instead of The home screen defaults and The widgets...I am facing this problem only with The downloaded themes and not the preinstalled nokia themes.Can someone please help me resolving this problem because its quite annoying?

Mar 5, 2010Not sure if this problem is specific to the Nokia X6 but this is really annoying me! I have contacted Nokia through their form as well as speaking to an advisor.
Basically, when your phone has been auto-locked, is there a way other than the ridiculous little light flashing once to alert you to a new message? I often have my phone on silent during the day and can't see this little white light (notification light/menu button). On my previous phone, the whole main screen used to light up when I received a text but I can't find a way to do that on the X6.
I thought I had found a quick fix as it seems to do it if the screen is unlocked then the backlight will go off, however, then the auto-lock kicks in and I'm back to square one again!! Please can anyone advise me on either:
1) If there is a way for the main screen to light up when you receive a message if your phone has been locked (i.e. black screen)
2) Or if not, a way to turn off the auto keyguard lock?
It's gonna drive me completely round the twist if I can't find a solution!

Apr 8, 2012I wonder if you know how one could clean the Lumia 800 or 900 from skin grease stains. As soon as you pick the phone up with your bare fingers, the normal skin grease leaves a mark on the phone and when you take a cloth to wipe it off it seems to be worked into the polycarbonate shell and leaves stains. In German I would say it looks "speckig".
That's why the wonderful looking nice matte finish of my Lumia was gone within 5 minutes of unpacking it. Is there a foolproof way to remove these stains? I think everybody will suffer more or less from it depending on the condition of your skin. It is probably very bad for women who have the habit of bathing their hands in skin cream every 20 minutes.
As Nokia is always imaging people using the Lumias without the rubber case as protection I wonder if they just ignore the issue (and expect the buyer to do the same) or if they have a method of getting rid of the grease stains I don't know.

There is a box with location and a check mark. there is a box with connections and a check mark. A save button and a Details button. This pops up everytime I click on the weather icon. Is there a way to keep this from popping up every time? It did not used to. I have uninstalled and re-installed the weather app 3 times and 1 time in safe mode. Aug 14, 2010I've had my Nokia x6 for a while now and lately it's really starting to act up. Every now and then it just reboots itself. The menu (that appears when you press the on/off button) pops up real quick and automatically chooses the "turn off"-option. This happens more than 10 times a day. But it won't shut down if the lock button is activated, the display just lights up (which is REALLY annoying too). I've tried to do a soft reset and a hard reset (although the hard reset didn't delete my songs) and the problem persists! Should I try to format the the discs (or whatever they're called) or is this undoubtedly a problem that needs to be solved by my local Nokia Care Center?
