I'm trying to have threaded sms on my nokia 5230...I've download and installed nokia conversation from nokia labs but dosn't work :-(So now i'm looking for a solution from Nokia,if is ti possible, i don't want to use third part software...

If you are like me, you hate gmail's threaded conversations. Until the Android gmail app catches up with the browser based gmail interface (which makes threaded conversations an option), there is a work around. View 1 Replies View RelatedI currently have a Nokia E63, and love it. However I used my friend's Sony Ericsson the other day and saw that he had a conversation view / threaded view for his texts, that showed the texts from a particular person in one list / conversation.
Is there any programs available / updates that I can get hold of to load up onto my phone to be able to get my E63 to view my texts in this way?
i have observed threaded view sms in my friends handset (android) its lot easy to manage sms and read the conversation cant nokia provide such update of messaging i tried using some software but it was **bleep**.using 5230 would love to have threaded sms view for default messaging

View 12 Replies View Relatedthis "update" really blows chunks. Not everyone likes threaded messages... As much as I've tried, I can't start a new text message to someone without deleting/clearing an older message. If I receive a voice-mail from someone, I can't send them a text without deleting the voice-mail message from the list. There's no way to "un-link" contacts (the option in BBM DOES NOT WORK).

It says that there more unread messages than there actually are. For example, someone will send me a text message ( just one ).It reads (2) unread but there is only ONE message.Someone sent me an MMS and now the unread total is up to 4 even though there is NOTHING in my Inbox.I checked everything; Voicemail, email inbox, MMS Inbox you name it.And I got nothing. I downloaded the update from PCDphones.com.When I called Verizon tech support, they said that there was a patch for it somewhere but didn't specify WHERE.

View 14 Replies View RelatedSo I just downgraded from 5.0 back to 4.5 cause I couldn't take the low memory and freezing that I had with my 8330 verzion, but now I can't stand that I don't have threaded texts. Before I downgraded I set up a couple of people on my BBM to be SMS only just to see if it worked, and it did. I figured that BBM would just transfer over so I would have threaded BBM/SMS's. Well figures that I don't and crunchSMS doesn't show that I have notifications just wondering if anyone knows how to get BBM to let me add someone just to SMS with. Sorry if this is confusing.

I just installed the new boost mobile version of 5.0 and so far love it except for one thing..in my sms right above my text box, it shows my callback number. Is there a way to hide that? Or am I stuck with that?

Of course this isn't the case and I still have the regular menu of inbox, drafts, sent etc. and no threaded messages option available.

I have tried a couple of ways my friends have suggested; Menu>Inbox> Press right arrow key. But there seems to be no option still of threaded view? I also have an Sony Ericsson C510 with an application in it that threads SMS conversations so as you see your message then their message then your message and so on. This is the best new feature on a phone I've seen for ages. I have the W760i without this IM type feature. Is it possible to load this app to the 760 and if so where do I get it and go about putting it in?
