I just installed the new boost mobile version of 5.0 and so far love it except for one thing..in my sms right above my text box, it shows my callback number. Is there a way to hide that? Or am I stuck with that?

View 14 Replies View RelatedSo I just downgraded from 5.0 back to 4.5 cause I couldn't take the low memory and freezing that I had with my 8330 verzion, but now I can't stand that I don't have threaded texts. Before I downgraded I set up a couple of people on my BBM to be SMS only just to see if it worked, and it did. I figured that BBM would just transfer over so I would have threaded BBM/SMS's. Well figures that I don't and crunchSMS doesn't show that I have notifications just wondering if anyone knows how to get BBM to let me add someone just to SMS with. Sorry if this is confusing.

Until the Android gmail app catches up with the browser based gmail interface (which makes threaded conversations an option), there is a work around. I wanted to hide my number on outgoing calls but the area to do it on my verizon lg g3 is grey. Is there another way to hide my number? Or what do I need to do to my phone to make that area NOT greyed out?

First, I accidently hid a picture by checking the 'hide' field. Now how do you get it back?! I've had a couple of my friends with the same phone try and figure it out and they havent been able to.Secondly, when I choose a picture to be my wallpaper, it shows in a zoomed in version of the top left corner of the picture. I do recall when I was choosing the picture to set as my wallpaper, that I zoomed in on it before setting it, but used the 'back' key to remove the zoom feature. It appeared ok on the screen but set the wallpaper as the zoomed in picture. Now it doesn't matter which picture I choose, I get on the top left side, zoomed in showing up on my wallpaper. - even though it appears normal before setting it.
all of a sudden my icons lost color. not all of them, but most of them. when i tried to hide icons that i do not use, it would not hide them. and i cannot recharge my phone from the auto. i have tried other autos and different chargers, the electric charger works fine too.

When I go in messages and choose options, hide sent messages, YES and hit save........and then go back to look again, it has changed back to NO. Every time!!!! It doesn't do this for Hide Filed Messages.....just the Hide Sent Messages. It's very weird.

i have just bought a bb 8520, and i cant find where to block the phone sending my id [telephone number] to who i am calling.i have called my carrier because this is a service that they have to add to the plan, but they told me that the only way is to dial #31# before every phone number thats an option, but unreal, beacuse for the 99% of times you choose the phone number from the contact list [or you should modify every phone to have the #31# before the number]i had a nokia before, and this option is easy configured through the options tab does anybody knows where to configure this option?

Even when I transferred numbers from my Envy to my Blackberry a lot of the contacts went under "Work" rather than "Mobil".How can I change it so that by default it comes up under mobile (since that's the majority of numbers I add to my contacts)?Also, is there a way to easily switch the classification of a number?
