When I sync my diary and tasks with Outlook 2003 and my N85 using OVI Suite the reminders get removed so thye no longer appear in the reminders window. Is there a setting I can change to solve this?
View 6 Replies View RelatedClendar widget is only 3 rows high and it display tasks on order of creation.Example: one have 3 low priority tasks created before 1 high priority task. Calendar widget will display only low priority tasks. That's stupid.You need options for task sorting or some "algorithm" for sorting that will take priority into account.

When I'm creating some task or meeting in the calendar, I see them on desktop calendar icon (and reminders are working well) but when I open full calendar and see the day / month schedule it's absolutely empty with no meetings / tasks.

1, apt-get clean -> i do it as root, it seems thats it is done succesfully, but didnt help
2, apt-get autoremove -> I do it as root too, but it says:"E: dpkg was interrupted, you must manually run 'dpkg --config -a' to correct the problem", so when I type dpkg --configure -a it says:"dpkg: unable to open/create status databasa lockfile: No space left on device"
3, I tryid to reinstal OS via PC suite.. ..but it still fail with reinstalation(a long time ago i already updated OS 2 times)
4,I already tried flasher, but I'm still geting "...%m"error
I've had an E72 for a week now, and must say that I find the keypad unlock combination of top-left followed by top-right combination most annoying! the phone continuously unlocks itself while in my pocket, and then starts calling, taking pictures, etc.. Using the (very tight) cover does not make any difference. Is there a way to change this into any other combination? (like power button first, then top left or right? or use the center button which is well protected?)

View 7 Replies View RelatedFor some reason my X6 stopped recieving email, but that wasn't a problem as i installed Emoze which is much better.But now a mysterious icon has appeared in the top left of my screen (under the 3G icon), but sometimes the icon also moves to the top centre and floats ontop of the date.It's a green square with a green circle inside it with a white triangle inside that.Anyone know why it represents and why it's turned up?It's not mentioned in the instruction manual and neither is it the emoze logo.
View 5 Replies View RelatedMy E71 (which I love, btw) has taken on the annoying habit of reacting twice to one press on the left soft key (where 'menu' would be by default). For example: when I reply to a text message and want to insert a smiley, I use that key but it immediately acts like I pressed it twice and thus it sends off my unfinished message.Could this be a software problem? I'm updated to the latest firmware version, 400.21.013 (22 october 2009). Or could it be dirt or moisture inside the phone?If you have any insights, I'd love to hear them.

View 6 Replies View RelatedI read many many E52 phones suffer Internal GPS fix problems. I don't beleve this is an hardware problem, but only a software bug. My experiments say this:
1) Start phone, start Ovi Maps -> No lock at all. (only 1 blinking line in bottom left corner)
2) Start phone, start McGuider (Sygic) navigator -> E52 locks quite immedeately. (in the same place!!)
3) After GPS is locked, start Ovi Maps again. Now also Maps works great!
4) Also the gps built-in application under Menu->Applications->GPS->GPS Data has the same behaviour as Ovi Maps.
This is the problem that I have been facing since I have purchased this phone(2years now). I am not using nokia push mail or even nokia mails at all. I have selected packet data Connection setting as "When Needed".
This happens every time I connect to the internet using mobile network and then remains there forever until either I restart Phone or go to offline mode. This is so annoying because it is not using any data though it is there.
There is a dotted lines below the E sign as you can see in the attachment.
I am having problems with nokia headphone remote problem. I have nokia 5800, when i plug my headphones in my phone i can only hear in the right ear but the left ear doesn't work. If i plug only the headphones without the remote it works on both ears. I can't figure out how to make the remote work in the left ear, is it a phone setting problem or is the remote broken? Anyone else having this problem? I need the remote because if i only use the headphones without it it would be too short and won't reach my ear ......

View 8 Replies View RelatedI instructed Map Loader to download Europe (no less) which happens to be a wopping 2.2 Gigabyte. It calculated probably pretty accurately that downloading Europe would cost 1 hours 9 minutes and 48 seconds. A decent figure. Having started the download I absentmindedly and without any evil will disconnected my phone mid-download after 45 min give or take to make a phone call. That made Map Loader scream with discomfort (Waiting for phone!!) and eventual crash, with a fancy .NET debug message displayed. Yes, my dear readers, Map Loader is written with some Visual tool from Redmond where I expected a nice Qt based application. This now meant that all work was for nothing and the next time I selected Europe for download I was surprised to find it hadn't shrunk and was still the 2.2 Gigabyte and would still take 1 hours and 9 minutes and 48 seconds (thanks, Data) to download.
Now, I did not disconnect my ISP, paid all the facility bills so actually there would be no reason why 87% or an odd 1.8Gig wouldn't be around sitting on my PC still so that only that last 13% needed a download and I would go ahead and fix a drink to have the download finished in an agreeable time. It would be nice for my and Nokia's bandwidth and the environment (not to mention Europe) to have Map Loader at least save partial data so that in case of an unfortunate attack on the connection between Map Loader and the hand-set at hand it would be able to continue where it left off.
I am receiving a strange error when trying to update the maps on my N8 via PC.The error is as follows:There isn't enough space left on your computer to update your maps or voice guidance files. free up some space from the drive C: and try again. You need 17.7GB, but at the moment, you only have 22.4GB left.Unless numbers have changed in 2013 22.4GBis MORE than 17.7?p.s. also tried on different pc with 27GB free and get the same error.Nokia suite version used is 3.7.22
View 8 Replies View RelatedI recently upgraded from the S4 to the S6 and love it.On the S4, it was very easy to access the task manager and end apps that I didn't want running or end RAM that was making my phone slow down. When I first got my S6, I found where the active apps list was and was able to end apps and RAM. But now I have completely forgot. I know it's in the settings somewhere, but now I can't seem to find it.I know about the recent apps button on the front that allows you to end apps, but I'm talking about also being able to end RAM, as I have noticed my phone is beginning to lag like there is too much of something running, even though there are no apps running.

The multimedia key on my Nokia N79 is broken (nr 3 in the picture). My plan was to map the 'multimedia menu' functionality on the left selection key (nr 2). But the 'multimedia menu' doesn't appear in the list of possible mappings. It is also impossible to reach the 'multimedia menu' via the normal menu.
Conclusion: if the multimedia key is broken, it appears that it is impossible to use the 'multimedia menu'
Does anyone know a workaround? Or, if Nokia is reading this, can you add the 'multimedia menu' to the mapping-options for the selection keys?
I have noticed sometimes I send an sms (iPhone 4 4.0.1), press the home button and then later as much as 20 minutes I go back into the sms message and it finishes sending. its like it didn't send in the back ground. This only happened a few times. Yes I have rebooted.
