Every time I answer an incoming call there is a annoying delay for a couple of seconds before the other person can hear me. does anyone have any solution for this?
is the call reject option with text message is coming with 7.8 update? And finally does any one know if the update will be released this month in Europe?
I just got a lumia 800 today and man i am blown away by both nokia and windows phone 7.5 Anyways, I am facing a problem: I use a prepaid sim and on my other previous phones, after each call/sms i used to get a automatic message regarding the amount used in the last call/sms and the remaining balance for my prepaid sim. But now on my lumia 800 i am not getting those messages after the call/sms.
Have a large delay when trying to dial numbers while on a call? For example, when inputting a conference call number I have to wait 2-3 seconds between numbers otherwise I get an error.
I am using an unlocked N6 on Verizon running LMY47Z for reference.
Since the Lollipop update when I answer a call its a good 3-5 seconds before the person on the other end can hear me talking. I usually end up saying Hello? 3-4 times before they can hear me. My dad has it on his Turbo as well.
My screen has a delay in response and is intermittently able to send and receive calls and texts. T-mobile has done everything they can and it didn't solve the problem. What can we do?
att finally release the sense 6 update and i was thrilled. really like what they have done, especially the transparent dock. however, since updating my call log and messages are not coming in chronological order. this is not good. i have tried looking through the settings and restarting to no avail.
I have been recieving a lot of annoying calls from softwares like Skype. I want to block them so, is there an app that distingushes between calls coming from land lines and cell phones and between VoIP calls and blocks the VoIP ones.
But is there anyway that I can block or restrict certain numbers from my phone? That is, to have the phone send that particular number/call straight to voicemail with the call just showing in my call log. I would like to if this can be done from the phone without additional software. Or can someone recommend a program that can accomplish this. (Ideally, a free software!)
My wife's 3G is having problems that I don't have.
Dropped calls Hears echos Sounds Hollow Sometimes she hears static Her voicemail notifications wasn't coming up. She had to call her voicemail periodically to see if she had any voicemails.
She has 3.1.2 installed. The phone is also jailbroken. We both have AT&T. She called AT&T and and they did some troubleshooting and they fixed her voicemail, then said that they think that she needs a new SIM.
I am getting a tinging echo type noise when I make or receive calls. You can hear everything fine but it keeps making a funny noise during the calls and is very annoying.
My phone is on, as I can hear calls and texts coming through. But the screen is completely black. I've tried the reset, hard reset, restore mentioned in the support section, but nothing comes on the screen...not even the little apple logo that usually pops up, It is fully charged.
1. I can't disconnect calls. I generally happens when I'm on back to back calls. The phone becomes unresponsive for about 10~15 seconds before you could do anything with it.
2. When I'm listening to music and someone calls me, I hear a sharp noise when phone call overlaps music. Once I disconnect the call, the volume in the headsets remains fixed, you can't reduce or increase the volume. The solution here is to remove the headset from phone and plug them back in. If that doesn't work then re-start the phone!
I have updated my E63 mobile software and after that loudspeaker option is not coming while start of call. it comes only after connecting to caller (when ringing tone comes). Ealier (when software not updated) there was not any problem.
Recently I updated my Nokia 5800 software V 40.0.005. After updating when any call comes, I can't accept the call through touch screen. First I need unlock using the side bar, then only touch screen works, Earlier I used accept or reject the calls through touch screen without unlocking.
I live in Downtown Los Angeles, so reception isn't a problem. I usually always get full bars. However, when talking on long phone calls 20+ minutes with full bars, my phone will just cut off and say call failed. Then I have no reception, then it just comes back.
Is this a iPhone issue or a ATT issue? I have an odd suspicion it's my phone because it occurs so frequently, but Ive had difficulty asking the apple bar to replace my phone just because of reception issues.
Help/Advice is needed ASAP!I'm leaving for Switzerland in less than 10 hours and I needed to find a way to keep in contact with my family here in the U.S. for relatively cheap. Well I bought a plan with Skype (since I have Skype mobile on my storm) where I can make international calls for reasonable rates. Now I am afraid that my friends may call/text my phone while I'm overseas NOT using skype and rack up my Verizon bill. Is there anyway at all that I can block calls and texts from coming to my phone but not interfere with my skype mobile? Also has anyone used Skype mobile overseas? Does it work well?
There is a delay (~300ms) in the incoming audio stream when using the built-in sip client. i've spent days figuring out its cause. tried with a local sip registrar ([e72] [linksys spa921], both on the same lan) but the latency is the same. pings to the phone are in the 20ms range, so this couldn't be the source of the delay. i've played around with the codecs (g711, g729) and jitter buffer settings, and it didn't help either. my conclusion was that it must be the nokia sip stack which introduces the latency. then i installed fring and nimbuzz (i think they have a proprietary sip ipmlementation), same latency again... at last i wrote a simple j2me ping-like application to test the socket connection performance to my pc, and all the packets arrived in <30ms.
do you have any ideas? btw, does anybody know if the engineers at nokia were smart enough making it possible to focus the camera when the optical navi key is disable.
