Is there a way to skip tracks in the music player for the 5230 (S60v5) using the button on the wh-102 handsfree? I've tried with another handsfree i got bundled with the 5310 xpressmusic too (the music player in 5310 has that function). How do i get this to work on the 5230, if there is a way?
View 1 RepliesI have a US TMO 5230, got a "Generic" 32gb MicroSDHC for it. Looks like an Adata or Kingston except for the lack of logo.When I installed it out of the package the phone said the card was corrupted, so I reformatted on PC.Took it out of PC, put it in the phone, phone said the card was unformatted, and gave me the option of formatting it.Ran the phone's formatting option , and the card is not recognized on the phone or the PC.when installed in the phone and I go to "memory" in the filemanager, the cardslot shows as empty, no card in place. when I put the card into the slot on my notebook, it doesn't even recognize the mSDcard.does this mean the card is defective.

The button use to work, also now the device is generally working really unstable, so I updated the software to latest, but no change to the power button functionality.
View 5 Replies View RelatedWhen I play music with my play 360 the bluetooth button starts to make noise, it rattles against its housing.It even does it with the start up sound, it is very anoying becouse I payed alot of money for this speaker, and this noise just ruins the music.
The only way to stop it is to put something against the button, to obstruct it from moving.Do other users experience the same? and what sould I do, contact nokia? contact the place where I bought it? or does every play 360 have it?
I have Nokia 5800. The only thing that annoys me really hard is that I can't make the headset button switch songs. It can switch between radio stations and so but I can't change tracks. Seems the music player doesn't recognize the button or so. I use the headset that came with the phone. Its the nokia WH 205 white version. My package is from movi star and it doesn't have the mini controller for music. I need to make the only button on headset switch songs!

View 7 Replies View RelatedI bought a new nokia lumia 800 last monday. I have added few songs and video through zune and i started playing those songs. I wanted to fast forward the song and move to some location in the song. I could see the player slider bar when the songs playing but i cannot use my slider to skip through to a particular location in the song or the video. I thought it could be a software issue and I updated the player but still the problem exists.

I have tried Windows explorer as well as the Windows Desktop App. I can see my phone in explorer and I an click to open the Music folder. When I try to copy/paste to there it just hangs and then I get an error message to stop or skip copying? I am using Windows 7 SP1. This is a deal breaker if I can't get music and photos on here.

I can still hear perfectly well via it, but the volume control, stop, start of skip functions have now stopped. I'm not too sure the ability to answer the phone from it exists either. Can anyone tell me if this is due to the headset itself or if there's an option in the 5800 that I need to look at? If it's the latter I won't need to make a trip to the store.

View 5 Replies View RelatedWhenever I watch a video through the internet on my phone, and it is not through YouTube, I cannot use the bar at the bottom of the screen to change the time of the video. I cannot skip through parts of videos at all. I can move the bar, but it goes back as soon as I let go. It makes it hard to skip through videos I have already seen the first parts of. Downloaded videos and the YouTube app I do not have this problem. I am running Android 5.1 on an LG G4 with Verizon.

View 14 Replies View RelatedMy touch screen has been playing up for several weeks nowWhen I try to touch the main screen it will select an area to the right of where I am touching, i.e. clicking the dial pad button will actually select the contacts button, clicking 'answer' on the keypad will put the caller on hold etc etc. Other times the scren will not respon at all.
The funny thing is, when I remove the phone's plastic casing, the touch screen works fine! Similarly, if i push the top part of the case to the sides (so it is not in contact with the digitiser) the touch screen will work again until my phone goes on lock and then when I unlock it the touch screen is stuffed again.
I'm not sure if this is a software or hardware problem. On one hand its as if the plastic casing of the phone is rubbing (putting pressure on) against the side of the touchscreen and causing it to not work (hardware) while on the other hand it could be software in that the problem keeps happening everytime the screen goes to sleep (it's not initialising right).The other problem which started at the exact same time is that the green button is not working sometimes when I try to answer calls or turn off my alarm.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I should try? I've already done a hard reset. The next step is to buy a new digitizer/plastic case and see if that solves the problem.

One of the features I used all the time on my iPhone was the ability to skip forward/back while listening to music (e.g. Pandora, Rhapsody, Music Player, etc.). I'm afraid to ask but am I to understand this functionality does NOT work on this phone/OS??? If so, how can I get around this? I do not want to root the phone nor do I want to be forced to use apps that require me to play music stored on the phone. I have subscriptions to Pandora and Rhapsody for a reason.
View 2 Replies View RelatedRecently, I have been very irritated with my iphone's music playback because the volume is inconsistent. For almost every song, as it starts playing it will start at a normal volume then decrease suddenly to a common level. It sounds like the volume difference created by sound check. Besides this, doing things such as skipping, turning shuffle on/off, turning repeat on/off, and other minor things will change the volume. the most notable is skipping, which reverts the volume back to the loud version (as if sound check was off), while turning shuffle and repeat on/off only changes the volume slightly (barely noticeable unless playing at a loud volume). I have tried to ignore it for all this time. it would be nice if apple had a simple email contact option to ask questions as well, but apparently they either don't or it is impossible to find, and that ****** me off even more.

I dont want to take out my phone from my jacket and unlock the screen just to skip a song (or repeat the one I just listen). Went to a Tmobile store and they backed up everything and did a reinstall. Still wont work. Building has reset the router. Says secured, WEP, but wont connect and then goes and shows disabled.
2) When it was reinstalled, now I can not skip two spaces when texting or in emails and then the period inserted and next letter is capitalized. How do I get that back...
When trying to import pictures and videos from the S5 to Windows 8 desktop, I connect the USB and then right click "import pictures and videos" button.
However, Windows goes through all of my music first (which takes a while) before it finds my pictures and videos in order to download.
Any way to tell windows to skip searching through music files during this search? Just go straight to music or videos.
i have some songs on my storage card, and when i play it using media player, it takes like about 30 seconds if i want to skip to another song serious i made a hard reset and still doing it.... i tried with different micro sd card, but nothin, still the same, the hd2 is fast for any other app, but i just have that issue... any knows a solution? i already updated music library also !!
