May 11, 2010I want to transfer my contacts (and preferably SMSes) from old 3110c to E71. I have Ovi Suite and data cables. No memory card is being used in 3110c.

Aug 8, 2010Nokia 3110 Classic.I can hear the kepad tones I cannot hear the ringing tones.This has recently happened. Up to now everything has been fine. Probably finger trouble.The volume is at maximum.I only have the standard ring tones.I cannot hear them when a call is received and also not when selecting them from Settings/ Tones/ Ring tone/More/Open gallery/Tones/Ring tones.I can hear the tones through the hands free earphone, both when a call is received and when selecting them .Being able to hear the keypad tones, with the handset not plugged in, I think means the mechanical speaker cutoff is not involved.

Mar 22, 2010I have a Nokia 3110c, excellent phone still working perfectly after 2 years.Recently, I switched from SFR operator to Orange operator. SFR uses 123 to access the voice message recorder, currently accessible through a long push on key 1. Orange uses 888, so I would like a long push on key 1 to trigger 888 instead of 123. Unfortunately, how to is not explained in the manual which deals only of keys 2 to 9. I also resetted the phone to Factory Settings, and even loaded "Default Operator Settings", hoping that that would include reprogramming of key 1 to 888. No way..

Feb 15, 2010I have just got a new Nokia E72 I want to transfer the contacts off my old phone The old phone is a 3 Skypephone S2, which is not compatible for a bluetooth transfer.I stored all the details onto the memory card, put it into new phone, and saved them to the new Nokia so they are on the right phone.Now I just need to know HOW to put them from where they are stored on the memory card, into my 'contacts' list so I can use them.

Paired Ok but could not transfer phonebook. I tried to select from phone to send data via bluetooth to see if Pioneer unit popped up but no dice. The Head unit stated send as vCard from phone to the head unit but could not figure out how to do this. I guess this would be sending contact information one at a time but really do not know. Has anyone been successful or is this not support at present?

The pairing of the devices seemed to go OK.But after starting "contacts transfer" with some dots running over the screen of Lumia for a few second, I got "unable to complete the connection etc.".So apparently N95 is not supported or something.

May 8, 2012I have around 450 contacts in my address book (names, address, phone nos) on N9 and around 400 on Windows Lives account (combination of Gmail, Facebook and LinkedIn) on my Lumia 800.So, I tried using the Contacts Transfer app to move the contacts from N9 to Lumia via Bluetooth. What happened was that it transferred around 60-70 contacts and then failed.I tried repeating it several times, each time having to pair with the N9 again on Bluetooth and each time failing the transfer after moving around 60-70 or so contacts.I then decided to give up and look into PeopleHub and under the contacts, I found hundreds of entries labelled <Unnamed>, with empty contents in them.Now, how can I get rid of them and why failing to complete the transfer resulted in these blank entries being generated?I also logged into my Windows Live account and indeed, it is saying I have over 900 contacts but these <Unnamed> contacts are not listed anywhere in the ALL, 123, A, B, C, D, E, etc. groups. So, I'm unable to bulk delete them on the web.

Sep 25, 2011My wife just got a MBZ C250. We were able to pair her Nokia 6350 and my iphone to the cars bluetooth. I was also able to transfer the contacts from the iphone but not the Nokia's. In looking at the bluetooth compatible phones on the Mercedes Bluetooth site I noticed that there are no Nokia phones listed for this car model. For some reason her phone works well in the hands free mode in the car but she obviously would like to be able to access her contacts. My question is this, is there any way we can transfer her contacts to the cars bluetooth? If not, is there any way both phones can share my iphone address book since we have exactly the same contacts?
