Most of the time when using my phone and iether making or receiving a call, I can hear the person on the other end of the line, but they can not hear me. Re-calling usually will not fix this issue.
View 1 Replieswhen I receive call, before accepting or rejecting a call it starts transmitting voice of another end over load-speaker of echoic nature till the time I accept or reject the call. This doesnot happen for all the calls but I need to wait for its occurrance to prove it, after trying several call attempts. I have followed diagnostic steps but found no problem as such.

I have been trying to achieve this and have gotten nowhere. The phones have been successfully paired, but within the w376g menus, I can't find an option that lets me send the phonebook (or anything else) via bluetooth.
I have been using my MA with ANT+ HR Monitor sensor nearly every day since I got this as a Christmas present for a several hours.I noticed at the end of about 3 months that the HR Sensor was flacky, so I replaced the 2032 3 volt battery in the sensor.This seemed to fix the problem.The device worked well for a few more weeks and than I was having similar problems, so I replaced the battery a 2nd time.Yesterday, I was able to use the HR Sensor for my morning workout, but the sensor was no longer transmitting when I went for a 5 mile walk.i replaced the battery again and repaired the sensor with the device.It seemed to connect fine, but there is not any live data being displayed from the HR sensor.I have tried repairing the sensor and it will pair, but their is no data being recieved by the MA device.Has anyone else had problems like this with their ANT+ HR Sensor?

I had N79 before getting this phone and the FM transmission used to work fine. I tried googling the issue but I only got topics regarding "Feature is not supported" which is not the case for my phone. Is there something I'm missing i.e.. some system settings or such..or should I get a refund/replacement?
View 4 Replies View RelatedMy bb9700 constantly has an transmitting arrow, i do have pod trapper running and it is configured to only go over my wifi, but in fits of neurosy i disconect from my mobile network to makesure it is only wifi.
I dont suppose there is an app out there that actually shows wifi communications and mobile network communications separately. so i know which one, or whether both are connected, rather than just the icon that shows the device is communicating with something, but i have to guess which and what.
I upgraded to the Lumia 950 at the AT&T store near me. Don't know if it's a Lumia thing or a Windows 10 thing, but I noticed that the signal bars at the top now have little arrows coming out of them that light up when the phone is transmitting.
Sunday night I figured it was just restoring all my stuff, no big deal. But it did this all day yesterday as well. I have pretty fast Wi-Fi, so it really shouldn't be taking this long. When I woke up this morning and looked at the phone, still transmitting.
I looked at the data usage page before I went to bed, and compared it to what I saw first thing this morning, and from what I can tell it appears to be OneDrive. It used 200MB of Wi-Fi while I was sleeping. Not sure if it's downloading ALL my files to my device, or what. I went to the OneDrive app to see what they sync settings are--I couldn't find any. :-( I'd be happy if it didn't sync anything to my phone unless I specifically requested it.
Originally I thought that it was doing an update of some sort, but it hasn't stopped for a couple days now. It drastically reduces the battery life and sometimes for a couple hours the transmitting just stops. Even when its just connected to wifi it is still transmitting data. No other programs are open besides the messages app, BBM, the home screen, phone, and the browser.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI'm hoping someone can help me with something. I'm having an issue with constant data transfer and I wanna know what it is. I know the upload and download arrows flash every once in a while when changing areas around town but I have a lot of up and down data transfer and its draining my battery. I deleted all my apps and I am using just a plain precision zen theme and wiped my phone and started fresh but its still happening. It seems to stop a little when I turn of WiFi and GPS and it completely stops when I turn off all radio services. If I do this my battery will last all day but if I turn everything back on my battery will be dead in about 3 hours.
I'm running 5.0.0.592 on my T-MO 8900 .Is there a way to tell what's sending info so much? Is there an app out there that can tell me what's sending?
i have a few iden motorola phones, i580, i877, i855 and i'm trying to use them for voice dialing.i got into the contact and add a voicetag to that contact, save it, and when i exit out of the contacts and go back into that particular contact it doesn't have a voicetag.so i'm worndering how to do voice dialing on an iden motorola phone! thanks in advance

View 2 Replies View RelatedRandomly my phone decides it doesn't like being a phone. The call connects, but I can't hear anything and neither can the person on the other line. I'll hang up, call my voicemail, can't hear the automated messages and keypad tones don't register on the voicemail's end. Sometimes a battery pull fixes, usually not. Sometimes it works again after an hour. Two days ago it decided not to work, didn't work yesterday or today until just now either, longest I've seen it not work. When that happens I resort to calling from Google Voice on my laptop.

I am using a Blue Ant Q1 Blue Tooth headset and updated to the latest firmware on it. Now when I tell the Blue Ant Voice command the command 'Phone prompt' it connects with my Blackberry Torch 9800 Nuance Voice command option with no problems.Now when I tell the Nuance voice command the numbers of a phone number I want to call, it will repeat it back to me to verifying the number. Now the numbers are clear when the voice command repeats the number I want to call.I swear it really sounds like the very first computer voice ever created, it's all garbled and muddy like. No real clarity in what it is repeating back to me.It is very hard to make out what the voice command is repeating back to me to verify the word I used to describe the number I want it to call.Now, I shut off my Blue Ant Blue Tooth headset and tried the Nuance voice commands with my phone only and I get the same poor quality computer animated voice issues coming out of my Blackberry Torch 9800.Is this normal, I sure hope not, after purchasing what I consider a top quality cell phone. I would expect more clarity with this software from Blackberry and Nuances.This is the one feature that I really need for a cell phone to perform well for me, since I am on the road a lot for my business and needs handsfree dialing.

View 1 Replies View RelatedWhen I try to use a voice command application such as Google's Voice Search or Vlingo the phones microphone is disabled. Both applications run an animation that lets you know that the phone is "hearing". I receive no indication that the mic is active. However, if I plug my (Non-Mic) headphones into the Triumphs jack the voice recognition comes alive. This lasts for one command though. If I try to voice a second command I again get no response. At this point pulling the headphones out of the jack again activates the voice application for one command.

I have tried voice id caller and smsreader and neither works.
Voice id caller at least sounds a prefix you can customize, but not the actual name of the caller. I wonder if it depends on a specific ringtone. My ringtone is a minute long.
as you know,motorola defy doesn't have voice recorder...so, I tried to install ''tape-a-talk-voice-recorder'' but it doesn't work...it starts downloading and after that download paused finally and permanently.

The voice input dialog pops up, but nothing that's said is heard and the input mode just reacts as if it just got silence.
I may have had the phone connected to my bluetooth speaker phone in the car at some point (or a headset), but I'm not 100% sure.
I can not hear people when they call me. To my knowledge they can hear me. I can hear sound out of the speakers, I am not super sure about the earpiece.

Problem is, neither of us WANT voicemail on our phones! How can we deactivate, while still keeping the option of voicemail later? I thought about just forcing a stop on the voicemail, but am worried that it will mean we won't have the option of voicemail in the future, should we require it.

This happens after I have connected to the other caller and after at least 10 - 30 seconds of conversation. It happens when I have a strong signal (5 - 6 bars) and even when I am stationary. Ultimately, the other caller can usually hear me again.

It seems to dominate my bluetooth button and I can't find a way to disable it. It's the worst piece of software ever. I have 3,000+ contacts and it takes 45-60 seconds of waiting just to say a command that it invariably won't recognize when google voice actions takes a second to launch and works every time. Also is there any way to assign google voice actions as the default when I press my bluetooth universal button?
