however, most of my music does not show up. I usually use iTunes to play my music but most of what is listed there, does not show up on ZumoCast. Interestingly, iTunes opens up on my computer when I try to access my music with my phone.
View 2 RepliesI have a large music library and it seems that I can't access all of it from the Music tab on the zumocast app (phone and desktop). If I go to files, I see and can play all of the songs, but not from the music tab. It's annying because it's easier to navigate via the Music tab (albums, artists, etc.)
View 12 Replies View RelatedI have a serious problem involving my music files which I have transferred via USB to my Nexus 5. After a system update to Android 5.1, my local music files still exist on the device but DO NOT show up in any music player. I have tried to use Google Play Music (my default music player) as well as other music players from the Play Store. ALL indicate that I have zero song files on my device which I know is definitely NOT true. I used to be able to play them and view all albums in Google Play Music but now the music files are ONLY accessible via ES File Explorer.

My music player doesn't show any music i add now. I can see and play those music files through OI FILE MANAGER. It is Android 4.0.4 Also i had excluded one of my personnel folder from media scan. but still it shows that folder and its contents in pictures.
View 9 Replies View RelatedI have Zumocast loaded on both my phone and computer. On my phone it shows all my files and I can see all my music. When I click on a song it will bring up the screen to play it and then it goes right away. Everytime I try to download a song to my phone it fails.

Zumocast worked the first couple of times that I used it on the Bionic but now cannot play the videos it used to play and has not been able to play any type of music. Tried downloading some mp3 files onto the Bionic and they all failed.Web access worked once but now the files will not play.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI have the Bionic and have loaded Zumocast on my laptop and my desktop. My desktop music library is a few thousand song files in one folder. I get to listen to them using the random button on my Bionic with no problems. I have started Ripping all my music CDs to my laptop. They are stored in the Music file, the a sub file for each artist, then a sub album for each album, then the individual files. I must open each folder down to the album folder to listen to my laptop music. This means I can not use random and listen to all my files of all albums. My question is obviously, How can I listen to all the files without manually opening each folder to access them? Can Zumocast do this, or can you suggest a way for me to group all the music in one big playlist to access with Zumocast?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have an LG G4 with a 128GB microSD. I prefer to store all my music locally, and have about 100 gb of albums on the microSD. If I open Google Play Music and select "downloaded only," I can see and play all albums and songs stored locally. However, all my playlists, which show and play fine when streaming, disappear. Instead, my 30+ playlists (same as on iTunes) are replaced by 3-5 odd, random playlists that I never consciously created.
Since my playlists all reference music that is locally stored, why wouldn't they work the same for "downloaded only" as they do when streaming? I'm going to be moving to a place with horrible and expensive internet, so I need to figure out how to use pre-created playlists for locally stored music.

In settings/storage it shows the 29.66gb total space, 24.36gb available space. However when I go to either APS2SD or manage apps via settings it shows 8.91gb total and 7.11gb available. Why is it only showing 8gb total and not 29.66?
View 7 Replies View RelatedUp till now I had been playing with a non US 3.1 Xoom. I would stick video content (mainly avi files encoded as divx) in the Movies folder. Selecting the Movie folder from Gallery would show all the content but the only program that would play them was Rockplayer which I had installed.
I know have a US Xoom with 3.2 firmware. With the same type of content in the Movies folder together with a MP4 file encoded with Handbrake to specs that the Xoom can play, Gallery only shows me that MP4 file. The other files just don't show up at all. The only way I can play them is to use ES Filemanager to browse that folder and click the filename to play it or use Rockplayer's explorer interface.
I have my search function configured to show apps, but when I do a search apps don't actually show up (most of the time) unless I hit the button in the search dialog and then select Apps. Other search types (e.g., contacts) seem to work fine.

I've gotten a number of high cpu usge notifications in the notification bar, but when I open up the task manager to see what is running amuck, the total displayed cpu usage looks small. how to track down the culprit? No new apps, but lots of updates recently, and I really don't want to start randomly deleting apps till I find the one causing this (I've got about 100 apps installed, of which I use probably 10-15 on a daily basis) As a side note my extended battery lost 50% of it's power while plugged into a computer via usb in 3 hours... That has never happened, the computer usb charger has always been more than enough to stop any power drain (while streaming pandora, and connected to bluetooth headphones).

Immediatly after playing the song I played it again and could not get the lyrics to reappear. No setting changes on the Razr, tried everything suggested in the forums including other songs, pressing on the song window, etc. Live music information setting shows green check mark next to "Song Lyrics."

View 11 Replies View RelatedOk, after fooling with my phone and checking out all the cool new things it can do after the GB update, I have finally found a flaw, at least on my phone. In the past when listening to music, either with the car dock or headphones or hooked to my speakers at work, whenever I paused the stock music player, it would always keep the playlist current and I could pick up where I left off. Even if I just shuffled all songs. Now when I shuffle all and come back to it later or the next day, it either doesn't show any music as queued or will show the song, but when I hit play, it just takes me to the music player home screen. I also have winamp installed and it does not have a problem keeping my songs in the list. I like to use the stock music player because I can pause or FF a song without having to unlock the phone. Nifty feature being able to see the song playing and having those options on the lock screen. Why is my music player losing the song list? On a side note, winamp remembers what I was playing even after a reboot, but it does not show up on the lock screen.

There's nothing in recently added and I tried refreshing it, but it showed me 'General:System Error' and stopped refreshing. I checked in my file manager and the songs are still there.
