Nokia :: E71 Doesn't Show Any Names When Somebody Calls
Jul 13, 2010Today I noticed that my E71 doesn't show any names when somebody calls me, neither does it show any names with text messages (SMS). It shows just the number.It doesn't show any name, I tried it with 10+ different people, both calling and texting. I have no duplicates in my address-book. I didn't add anything in the last 3 days. Yesterday everything worked just fine. I have no '(unnamed)' entries in my address-book either. No empty entries either. I didn't sync my phone with my pc (via Nokia PC Suite) since last week.

Aug 23, 2011after I updated my Nokia E6 to the recent software, it doesnt show the callers names when receiving a call and when receiving an sms. I have to save the same number twice, once with international prefix example +963 (thats for my home country) and once without. When receiving calls it show the name only if saved without the prefix (unless its an international call) and when receiving sms it shows the name only when its saved with the international prefix. I didnt have that problem before the update!

Jun 23, 2014All my contacts disappeared, they arent in my contacts. The ones left in my favourites and in my messages only display the numbers. I have tried a lot of things and nothing has worked. This is EXTREMELY frustrating, almost at the point of ditching apple. (I have a 4s)

May 5, 2010has anyone experienced problems with their call log? It is set for 30 days but when I try to access "Missed Calls", "Received Calls" or "Dialled Numbers" nothing happens. Also when I press the green send key, no previously dialled numbers are shown. If I receive a missed call and press "show" I just get the home screen.

There is no double entries in the phonebook of any of the contacts, ie there is only 1 contact per number - so it should be able to match it up.
Also, phone freezes every so often when I unlock it.

Apr 4, 2015I have a serious problem involving my music files which I have transferred via USB to my Nexus 5. After a system update to Android 5.1, my local music files still exist on the device but DO NOT show up in any music player. I have tried to use Google Play Music (my default music player) as well as other music players from the Play Store. ALL indicate that I have zero song files on my device which I know is definitely NOT true. I used to be able to play them and view all albums in Google Play Music but now the music files are ONLY accessible via ES File Explorer.

Sep 6, 2014My iphone 4s rings at 2am in the morning. The main screen does not show a call coming in, it never shows a received or missed call so there is no phone number so i cant block it. If i shut down the phone down and turn it back on before bed it seems to work and doesn't ring. I cant shut the phone off or put it on vibrate because i have an elderly mother who lives down stairs so i need to hear the phone ring if she needs me for something. I thought maybe i should reset or restore the phone but was hoping there was an easy solution.

Take yesterday for instance, over a period of 5 hours, four calls didn't ring, 3 went to VoiceMail, one showed as a missed call, three other calls came through normally. During this entire time the phone was sitting on my desk, fully charged.

Dec 18, 2015I have an LG G4 with a 128GB microSD. I prefer to store all my music locally, and have about 100 gb of albums on the microSD. If I open Google Play Music and select "downloaded only," I can see and play all albums and songs stored locally. However, all my playlists, which show and play fine when streaming, disappear. Instead, my 30+ playlists (same as on iTunes) are replaced by 3-5 odd, random playlists that I never consciously created.
Since my playlists all reference music that is locally stored, why wouldn't they work the same for "downloaded only" as they do when streaming? I'm going to be moving to a place with horrible and expensive internet, so I need to figure out how to use pre-created playlists for locally stored music.

The SIM had many contacts with multiple phone numbers (mobile number, house number.etc) under a single name, but when I viewed it on xperia ray , it shows duplicate names but with different numbers under the Mobile category. Is there a way to merge these names and bring all the different numbers into Mobile, House, Others etc under one name.I searched and found some answers for "Merging" but all were referring to merging different names with common phone numbers, but what I need is just the opposite. If there is already a discussion and solution to this , please give the reference.

Sep 9, 2014Check under Settings > iCloud to see if the Contacts switch is ON (green side showing). If it's already on, switch it off for 30-60 seconds, then back on again. Your contacts should start showing up shortly...

For me it just says "Turn right in 1 mile" .. no street name! It would be very helpful if this feature was included.
