After a normal morning of Xoom use the battery was low so I turned the Xoom off and plugged it in to charge. This afternoon I unplugged the charger and tried to turn the Xoom on. I get to the Red Circle M with DUAL CORE TECHNOLOGY on the screen but no further. I am unable to turn the Xoom off. If I press/hold the Power button and the Up volume key the unit shuts off and then turns back on.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI received my shiny new 3G Xoom (MZ601) yesterday and decided to root it. I successfully unlocked the bootloader and then flashed the rootboot.img file. Unfortunately on rebooting it hung at the Motorola logo. I tried a couple of other boot images, such as Tiamat 1.3.1 and ocboot but all with the same result. Obviously something is different about the European 3G Xoom which makes these US boot images fail.
I managed to "sort of" recover using one of the stock US boot images (can't remember which one!) but my Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are no longer working. What I would really like to do is revert to a completely stock MZ601 image. I see that the Verizon stock images are available on motodev but no mention of MZ601.
My WiFi Xoom cannot boot due to Error "failed to boot lnx 0x0004". I use the following command to update MZ604 image,after reboot, there is red line "failed to boot lnx 0x0004". PC cannot find the device when I use fastboot command after boot in "Starting Fastboot protocolsupport".
fastboot flash boot boot.img
fastboot flash system system.img
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
fastboot flash userdata userdata.img
fastboot erase cache
fastboot oem lock
So I had music on my xoom but accidently deleted it. I tried going in my computer files to copy and paste songs from my itunes into my folder on xoom called music but says wrong format. I don't know what to do.

The browsing speed is very very slow and most sites dont open.The signal strength shown in xoom is - (-105 dBm 3 asu).Is this a issue with Android 3.2 update or my home wifi is weak? Would i be able to reset the tab to the original version?

I have a 32 GB HTC One M9 from Verizon on stock Lollipop Android, and it has been working perfectly until this morning. I woke up to my M9 stuck in a bootloop. It would boot to the HTC logo, stay there for about 10 sec, then go black and constantly restart again (even as I type this). I can access the bootloader, but it seems none of the options work for me! I can't boot to recovery mode or even power off my phone. It just constantly boots again by itself.

After a couple restarts, the fingerprint scanner doesn't work at all.I decided to go the route of a factory reset through the android recovery mode and wiped the data. After this, I select reboot now and all I get is a black screen with the green status LED stuck on.

Everything looked like it installed correctly, but upon rebooting, my phone remains stuck on the motorola logo. I have tried forcing it to power off, but upon turning it back on, it stays stuck on the m logo. I have tried recovery mode, even wiped all my data off hoping to remove the corrupt file, (I have everything backed up). Nothing. I've already gone through the menus, to fastboot it, reboot it, or reset it. Anything I select results in the black screen with the motorola logo.

Never got 'round to contacting any kind of support 'till now. I haven't rooted the device, installed any custom ROM etc. It's a retail model FWIW.
I've just used the msu utility to update to 2.2 and after finishing the update the phone won't boot. I see an M logo with an ominous red background, followed by

View 11 Replies View RelatedLast night as I was driving home my phone cut itself off. The battery was very low and as a safety feature I assume, it cut itself off. When I got home I put the phone on my tv stand and put it on charge through a wall charger and let it charge overnight.I got up this morning and noticed my DVR was turned on. I picked up the remote and pressed the power button to cut it off. I instantly noticed my phone have to boot logo and then go off. I went over to unhook it from the charger. Now the phone wont boot.I have a Droid 4. You can't remove the battery. I have tried everything that I know to try to get it to boot or even turn on. I have tired 2 different types of wall chargers, my wife's car charger, a usb cable, and nothing makes a difference. I have also tried to hold the volume down and the power button at the same time. I don't know if my battery is shot but maybe it had something to do with my DVR remote. I upgraded to the Dish Network Hopper Service. I normally charge my phone at the same place every night.

I say random because they occur if it is the dock, on a table, idle or not idle, middle of a call, etc. I have not down loaded anything from the market in at least a week. It has never done this in the 18 months I have had it.
