Has anyone experienced this problem with Pandora? The app works fine, but when I press the "quit" button, the screen goes black, except for the menu and it doesn't quit. Usually it will quit if I press the button again, but sometimes not. It's not a big deal but it's kinda irritating.

I've read that "always on mobile data" needs to be enabled and the way to do this is to go to Settings - Wireless & networks - Mobile Networks - check the enable box. However, on my phone, option is not there. When I go to Mobile Networks, all I see is System Select - Home Only or Automatic. Is "always on mobile data" actually the answer to avoiding streaming music to stop? If so, how do I set it?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI'm just getting used to my new droid 3, and learning all of the quirks that come with it. In the past, I used my old Droid Eris to listen to Pandora over 3G wireless at work, and never had any issue with Pandora cutting out or stopping even when the phone's display went to sleep. However, on my new Droid 3, it cuts out like clockwork after about 20 minutes, whether or not the display is active or asleep. In order to try to keep this from happening I have changed the Battery mode to performance, turned off data saver (no sense running it streaming music ) and in Pandora turned auto shutoff to Never, and have tried Auto lock both on and off. I am thinking that the built in task manager may be killing it?

I'm having issues with Pandora on my X2 running 2.3.4, I cannot get Pandora to connect and play at all unless it is through WiFi. Then, it only buffers one song and dies due to the problem with the X2 wifi not staying active even when the sleep policy is set to never.Pandora doesn't work on 3g except for the inital advertisement.
I would think it is a problem in my settings but dont know enough to know what it would be. Pandora use to play all of the time in the beginning but about 3 weeks ago it would play 4-6 songs then stop. I would have to shut it down and bring it back up to get it going again. I uninstalled/reinstalled it yesterday and now it will stop on the first song. I thought it might be Pandora but it is doing the same thing on audio podcasts.
View 3 Replies View RelatedOn both Pandora and slacker radio my songs are randomly "skipping" as if I was hitting the skip button. They might play for 5secs or the whole song. The only time the problem goes away is when I'm out of skips! Between that and the awful wifi that cuts out just as randomly, its rather unlistenable. I stream music all day at work, and I've started just using 3g because it doesn't cut out like the wifi, but its eating data and still skips. If I don't find fixes to these issues this phone is going on craigslist... I got it assuming it would out perform my mesmerize which so far it does not.(at least for audio) Also, the streaming audio glitches out every time I press the top hard button.

Some music or other audio files are quiet, so I have to turn up my radio to hear it well. This causes a problem when I'm using navigation at the same time, because when it tells me to turn it's super loud. Is there a way, or an app out there to adjust the volume of my navigation separate from my music player/pandora?
View 1 Replies View RelatedHad my eletrify for two weeks and everything was working great. Synced the Music Player with my iTunes thru MML and was all working fine. Yesterday I was playing music thru the library etc. No problems. Today - When I go to "Music" - it errors out and says "Sorry! Application Music (in process com.motorola.music) is not responding. I have tried rebooting, closing the app, re-syncing to iTunes with MML, etc. But no luck. I can go directly to my SD Card file and play a particular song and the music player works. However I no longer have a library or the ability to use playlists etc.

I have removed the account several times and re-added it, and still dosn't seem to fix it. Just trying to use the basic e-mail that came with the phone. Phone is updated to .83.
View 3 Replies View RelatedHaving major trouble as of yesterday afternoon. Seems my touch Screen is on the frits. I noticed my back button didn't work all of a sudden, but the search and home and menu buttons all still work. and i could barely unlock my phone because a strip up from the back button wasn't working. I have done all i know to do at this point, pulled the battery twice, As bad as i hated to, i did a factory reset, which did increase the speed but i lost all of my customizations, and apps. I had 122 market apps and salvaged about 20 - 40 from the market, only 4 was paid. Anyways the problem still existed. IT came back for a few minutes after about an hour after the factory restore, and started working, then went away again. and didn't work again until i started typing this thread. I know it won't last though....
I'm out of warranty and i got shot down by calling verizon for a replacement, thought i might run by a store later to see what i can do. I want to hold out on an upgrade until next year when hopefully the droid 4 will have a keyboard and 3g . I hate to upgrade to a 3g phone this year when 4g is in my area now.
The email on my Droid Turbo quit sending and receiving email about two weeks ago. The Gmail works but my other email doesn't. Email works fine on my computer but not my phone.

Everything was fine until sometime yesterday (I think).I noticed this morning that my morning wake-up alarm was not what I had set it to, but was a generic sound. I checked the settings and all my "custom" ringtones were missing. I then went to the files app & saw that the SD card read "0.00 GB available." Clicked on it and it says "SD card not found. Please check that SD card is properly inserted and mounted." Funny, seeing as I haven't removed the card since I got the phone & it was working just fine up to this point. I've tried using a card reader to plug into my desktop & the computer doesn't even recognize that there is a card in the reader. I'd hate to do it but it looks like I might need to reformat the card thereby losing all of my pictures & music. The problem is that neither my phone nor my computer see the card.
View 1 Replies View RelatedAfter my Razr downloaded and installed the 2.3.6 update, my sd card quit working or should I say isn't recognized. Frustrating as I had EVERYTHING stored on my sd card. I called Verizon an the tech told me, "your sd card just went bad, they do that from time to time". We all know how long the Razr has been out, and that seems like such a short lifespan for a sd card, plus it is strange that it quit after the update.

The browsing speed is very very slow and most sites dont open.The signal strength shown in xoom is - (-105 dBm 3 asu).Is this a issue with Android 3.2 update or my home wifi is weak? Would i be able to reset the tab to the original version?

View 4 Replies View RelatedJust got this phone a few days ago and I'm having a few issues with it. I have noticed that Pandora will stream only when I connect to wifi. When I am on LTE, it keeps trying to load a song and then immediately skips to the next one, but is never able to load it. During this time, if I turn on wifi the app immediately starts playing. I noticed that this is not a network issue since I am still able to access email, browsing, etc when on LTE - just not stream music.

With my Galaxy s-6 Pandora will only play with wifi, when I am out of range the song title will come up but no music, then another title will come up. I-heart radio will work as does Amazon music. This started about 1 month ago before that all was fine. I have reset to factory setup so even with a clean phone it will not work. Again only workers with wifi.

I took my phone into sprint it wouldn't send pictures on text don't ask me why. they did a re-install on it. and now I can't get pandora to work. it downloads but isn't in my downloads folder. I downloaded it like 5 times and no icon. I did a search and found something in the same folder as my sprint navigation is downloaded but no way to get it to work there. Facebook does work. I tried blackberry app world and don't know where that went either. I don't know. WTF did they do. last time it just installed and worked.

My built in music player still shows it's widget and is fully functional so it's not a global "disable widgets" setting (if there even is one). I have uninstalled/re-installed Pandora multiple times.
I am running a stock LG G3 version 5.0.1.
