I recently started using Pandora and when I search by song, it doesn't play the song I searched by it just plays songs that are similar to that style. Does Pandora not let you search for a song and play the song you searched for? And if not is there another app that will do that?

For whatever reason, Pandora stops after each song when my phone goes off and the only way to go to the next song is by turning the screen back on and opening the app. WiFi is set to always on during sleep. I'm connected via Bluetooth if that matters. Is it the app? There's a setting in advanced in Pandora about auto lock and I have clicked and unclicked and it still stops after each song. Once I turn the screen back on and open the app, the advertisement turns back on or the next song plays.
View 8 Replies View RelatedOn both Pandora and slacker radio my songs are randomly "skipping" as if I was hitting the skip button. They might play for 5secs or the whole song. The only time the problem goes away is when I'm out of skips! Between that and the awful wifi that cuts out just as randomly, its rather unlistenable. I stream music all day at work, and I've started just using 3g because it doesn't cut out like the wifi, but its eating data and still skips. If I don't find fixes to these issues this phone is going on craigslist... I got it assuming it would out perform my mesmerize which so far it does not.(at least for audio) Also, the streaming audio glitches out every time I press the top hard button.

For two songs now i have bought on itunes it only plays for 30 seconds, which is annoying becuase im buying the song not just a preview and its a waste of my money. Its starting to get really annoying now and feel i should get refunfed for the songs that its doing it to. Why would i just want 30 seconds of a song...Can you help me in anyway or figure out why its doing that. I know its not a ringtone its the real song.

So I am moving to the Dominican Republic in a few months, and its going to totally suck when I can't listen to my pandora or slacker radio. I usually plug it into my dock and just let it play using my wifi. Is there anyway I can get it to work down there? I tried using hotshield vpn but it doesnt work anymore. Any other free options, apps on cydia, anything?

Is there a known issue with the Search Screen Keyboard not hiding itself when you leave the search screen in IOS 5.1.1? Ever since I upgraded, if I go to the search screen, then flick the screen back to the first Aps page, the keyboard stays there in the middle of the screen and I have to click the off button off and on again.

Pulled the battery on my phone today and now Browser does not have the options to seach via a search engine. Its just an address bar. Ex. If I type yahoo, it will just go to [URL] It used to show the search engines I could use. Also, in the options it would let me choose my default before, now there is nothing in the options about search engines.

View 4 Replies View RelatedJust got this phone a few days ago and I'm having a few issues with it. I have noticed that Pandora will stream only when I connect to wifi. When I am on LTE, it keeps trying to load a song and then immediately skips to the next one, but is never able to load it. During this time, if I turn on wifi the app immediately starts playing. I noticed that this is not a network issue since I am still able to access email, browsing, etc when on LTE - just not stream music.

I-heart radio will work as does Amazon music. This started about 1 month ago before that all was fine. I have reset to factory setup so even with a clean phone it will not work. View 4 Replies View RelatedI took my phone into sprint it wouldn't send pictures on text don't ask me why. they did a re-install on it. and now I can't get pandora to work. it downloads but isn't in my downloads folder. I downloaded it like 5 times and no icon. I did a search and found something in the same folder as my sprint navigation is downloaded but no way to get it to work there. Facebook does work. I tried blackberry app world and don't know where that went either. I don't know. WTF did they do. last time it just installed and worked.

View 10 Replies View RelatedWhen Pandora is running, my phone won't show the Pandora Pause/Forward widget/buttons. The background changes to the album art, but no widget functionality. My built in music player still shows it's widget and is fully functional so it's not a global "disable widgets" setting (if there even is one). I have uninstalled/re-installed Pandora multiple times.
I am running a stock LG G3 version 5.0.1.
This is a combination issue. I noticed with my Lumia 920, that if it had a weak/poor WiFi signal, it would still try to use that, and apps would report a bad internet connection, even when the LTE signal was great.This same thing seems to happen with my 950. Here at work, we have no WiFi. There are some nearby, but weak. If the phone latches on to one of them Pandora will report the internet connection is bad.
So, while at work I turn off WiFi. Problem solved, right? Wrong... WiFi turns itself back on from time to time.Why can't it fallback to my LTE when WiFi is bad? Why does it turn WiFi back on on it's own? Should I report this to the Insider program?
