So I have noticed that my Xoom Family Edition has just powered itself off randomly a few times.I go back to the tablet to wake it up, but it is fully powered off. My battery is charged. This has happened about 3 or 4 times since owning it for 3 days.
View 11 RepliesI have original xoom and xoom family edition. On original xoom there is a huge choice of locales and interface languages that i could use. For example i could easily set it up to use Russian everywhere in the menus and whatnot. But on family edition the choice is very trimmed. How can add full russian localization to it?

I Just bought the Xoom Family Edition and it is a great tablet for the price.I wanted a dock for a boost in the speakers and to charge the tablet.I purchased the Xoom HD Speaker Dock - it's the same product right? just the Family Edition is a little scaled back.They have moved the USB and HDMI ports so it will not work with the XOOM docking stations. There is absolutely NO mention of this in the XOOM accessory descriptions (shame on Motorola).They need to fix the product description ASAP and note in BOLD that the XOOM accessories do NOT work with Xoom Family Edition.will the Family Edition tablet work with the Xoom 2 dock and accessories?Will they make a doc for the family edition?

So I tried to have it connected to the charger and what I saw was a logo which depicts a 3-bar low battery and then to the apple logo and it loops.

Went into my local VF shop and they said to check there has not been a never firmware update but Kies finds nothing. Is anyone else experiencing this?

Rarely locked up, maybe rebooted on its own once, ever.Today, I am simply listening to music, and the phone keeps stopping out of the blue and reboots. Happening on local music (played w/Meridian app), Rhapsody, and Pandora. Pandora was the only app I'd installed since the update, and thought maybe it'd caused problems, so it's been uninstalled.Re-seated SD card, pulled batt. a few times, still randomly rebooting.

In the lower right it says that I have a 3g signal, but none of the apps or browser can connect.After a manual reboot it seems to work again. I never saw this before sending it in for the 4g upgrade. View 9 Replies View RelatedAfter a few days of using my Xoom (not powering it down) the notification light begins blinking for no reason that I can discover. I have used Android App Killer to shut down everything that is running and I cannot find a reason for the light to be on. Even disabling the light in settings will not stop it, nor will turning off notifications. When I reboot the tablet, it works as normal again for a few days. This started after I upgraded to Jelly Bean.
View 1 Replies View RelatedNo matter if I've just rebooted my xoom or if It's been on for a while, whenever I decide to suft the web using the stock browser I have the ability to for maybe 5-10 minutes and then it will just randomly crash and I have to open it again. I'm not doing anything that could be considered memory or processor intensive.

My device was not currently encrypted.I did encrypt it successfully once about a month or so ago, but didn't like the performance nor having to type my password each time to unlock the device. View 5 Replies View RelatedMy Z3+ randomly reboots multiple times/day(30+). I've tried restoring with PC Companion, hard reset, factory reset, safe mode, everything. I tried running diagnostics but it's a crapshoot. Sometimes I will get a neverending loading loop and sometimes I'll get a error message, "Unfortunately Diagnostics has stopped." and then the phone will reboot iself.

Two weeks ago I received a new Xperia Active which replaces my previous one which 'died'. With the new phone I experience random reboots. Approximately 3 times a week.I already reinstalled the software via the Sony update software. But the problems still exists. Does somebody has any idea to solve the issue?

When I got off the flight, my phone wouldn't power up, so I found an outlet and found that I had no power. I know I powered it off, and so why would it be out of juice when it had battery left when I powered down?

I sent it in for warranty repair, and they replaced it.he replacement unit had a screen issue. When I powered it on, the screen sort of turned on (you could tell that the backlight was working), but nothing else. No Motorola logo...nothing...just blank backlit screen.I returned it again. They said they fixed (not replaced) it.I use it once. I charge it up and turn it on this morning. Same problem. Blank, backlit screen.When I plug it into my computer it detects it, syncs it, updates software...but the screen is still totally black, with the backlight lit up.

The browsing speed is very very slow and most sites dont open.The signal strength shown in xoom is - (-105 dBm 3 asu).Is this a issue with Android 3.2 update or my home wifi is weak? Would i be able to reset the tab to the original version?
