Motorola W/WX Series :: Get W259 To Connect With Windows 7 Laptop?
Jan 31, 2012
I am trying to get my Motorola W259 to connect with my Windows 7 laptop. I've tried downloading the drivers on the support page (Motorola 5.4.0 driver and the PC charging driver), but installing them doesn't lead to any change. That is, after installing them, when I connect my phone to the laptop using a USB cable, nothing happens: the laptop doesn't recognize that a new hardware device is attached.
I installed everything I can think of and my laptop wont recognize my s6 after upgrading to WIN10. Kies v3, check. smart switch, check. Reinstall drivers using smart switch, check. When I plug in the USB cable it charges, but nothing happens on the screen. Cant transfer files or tether.
I have a C3-00 I wish to link to my laptop WLAN signal but, it could not even detect the signal while PCs effortlessly connect to my WLAN. is there a special way to setup the WLAN on the laptop to make it detectable by my mobile phone?
I would like to best way to move my existing data on itunes including library, photo, music, movies from old laptop of XP to new laptop on windows 7. I downloaded new version of i tunes in my new laptop and not sure how to migrate entire data and synch with new laptop?
After I installed the ZumoCast Windows client on my work laptop, when I went into the office I was no longer able to connect to the Internet at all. Once I uninstalled it, Internet access was restored. It's probably an issue with the way we have our firewall set up at the office, but wanted to raise it in case anyone else had similar problems.
I have recently purchased a motoactv which works great, but when I try and connect it to a computer it doesn't connect properly. The initial connection via usb managed to install the USB Composite Device driver, but failed to install the Motorola Networking Interface and the Motorola ADB Interface. Nothing else happens. Whenever I connect or disconnect I do get the notification sound, but again nothing else. It does not even appear in my computer. I tried system restore to a previous point to remove the drivers and try again, but on the initial connection of the device exactly the same thing happened again. I have tried installing motocast but have had no results with that either.
have an ex115 that i bought in the US. live inbetween US and Australia. i have called my provider in australia TPG(they use optus network) for settings. since phone not registered in australia they dont have correct settings. have given me generic motorola ones but cannot get them to work. have alos called motorla in australia a few times. they say that since not registered with them in australia the WAP setting will be different and cannot be changed.
I'm trying to download my music but WP8 uses the Windows Phone App client in Windows 8. Wll, when I tried connecting my phone, it says "Your phone is having troubles" error message. The instruction says to power off the phone. But no luck. Tried searching MS community but nothing there (but I won't rule out I didn't search well. Also, I posted the same question there and waiting for a response.)
Am I the only one that gets these errors everytime I connect? I just click "try again" on the first message, then I click past the second message and then it works, but it seems odd. I don't have anything special on my network, it's just a basic cable modem with a wireless router and my computer connects via wireless. See attached for errors
I am trying to download apps from the marketplace and use other things that use Live. Whenever I try to download an app, I get "The Windows Phone Live ID service is unavailable right now. Try again later". I have tries to reenter my live ID password and restarted my phone. Sent from my SGH-i917 via the HowardForums WP7 App?
Today I received a second-hand iphone 3GS to replace a 4s which I lost.
Upon receipt, the phone displayed an image of a usb connector and an itunes logo suggesting that I need to connect to itunes before use.Â
When I attach the phone to a toshiba satellite C50 laptop it connects and immediately disconnects with an audible tone. This connect/disconnect cycle repeats every second or so and never ends.Â
If I connect the phone whilst powered down, hold the power button and home button together for 10 secs and then hold the home button only to enter restore mode, the phone connects to itunes and I get the option to restore. However, the restore always fails.Â
I have tried connecting using two seperate USB cables - I am not sure if either is genuine. There is no effect.Â
I have tried disabling USB controllers individually within device manager. There is no effect.Â
I have tried different USB ports/ There is no effect.Â
While connected, the phone appears in the device manager intermittently, appearing and disappearing as the phone connects/disconnects.Â
Can anyone tell me whether I can download podcasts from my windows hard disk to the BB bold 9700 without passing through BB desktop or media manager? and if so, how? 'moving' or 'copying' the podcast files directly to the BB external drive shown on 'my computer' doesn't seem to work.
My laptop OS is windows. I've followed LG G4 manual (online instructions) to load music from my laptop, but it won't. The driver install seemed to work until the last item...and now I can't retrieve it to tell you exactly what that item was that "failed." how to get iTunes library (at least pieces of it) to the G4?
I downloaded videos from my iphone to my laptop which runs on windows xp. But the videos won't play properly on my laptop - they play in some sort of slow motion.
I tried resetting network settings without success.
I can connect to the laptop but DHCP doesn't auto assign the laptop an IP address so it cannot access the internet. Tried manually configuring the settings of the wireless card in windows using the same address assigned when connected via USB but it still doesn't work.
It states that subnet mask isn't compatable with ip address.
can load my music and photos onto my phone from my toshiba laptop beacuse i know that with a ipad you cant do that so now i waant to know if i will be able to still have all my files when i get the new phone .......
I am unable to pair my Torch 9860 with my Windows 7 Home Premium 64-Bit Laptop (the laptop is Fujitsu AH530/GFX). I have:
1. Reinstalled the BB Desktop Manager several times; 2. I reinstalled the Bluetooth drivers several times 3. Reinstalled all Windows features 4. Enabled all ports and communication services in Windows and Windows Firewall 5. I deactivated and reactivated by anti-virus
The Torch recognizes the laptop but the laptop doesn't recognize the Torch. I've been on the Fujitsu website and reinstalled all the drivers.
My toshiba laptop is running windows vista, and it actually says it's connected through wifi to the personal hotspot on my iPhone 4s, but I am unable to use the Internet at all. When connected via USB, I have no troubles whatsoever. When I check the different connections on the laptop, the USB connection says "local and Internet", while the wifi connection says "local" only. I'm sure this is an issue with the laptop, but I'm severely challenged when it comes to computers.
Today I had my new iphone 4s delivered, I charged it using the wall charger and when I went to sync with my itunes, the phone wasn't connecting to the laptop, I phoned apple support who talked me through re-installing itunes, when he suggested I try the phone on another computer(which was air mac) my phone connected straight away, the apple adviser said the problem would be with my windows, but its all completely up to date, I've got windows 7, thing is, my old phone (3g) connects fine and itunes is opened straight away, why wont it work with the iphone 4s.
My iPhone 4 suddenly wont connect to the laptop anymore. It still charges fine using the wall charger and I've tried numerous leads just in case. It connects to other peoples laptops. I've downloaded the lastest iTunes and tried to reinstall. All my USB ports work fine with other USB devices. The laptop makes the doo doo connection noise when plugged in so it's connecting somewhere. I have an iPhone 4 and a Advent Laptop with Windows 7.
I have an Iphone 4s 32 GB .it doesnot connect to my laptop via usb although it works fine on other laptops I also have an iphone 4s 16 GB. when i connect that to my laptop it works fine what could be the reason of thins
I've been having issues trying to connect my iPhone 5 (updated to the latest software version 7.1.2) to my HP laptop, it makes the little usb noise when it is plugged in, but the phone won't charge and it isn't visible on iTunes or 'my computer.' Im 100% sure its nothing to do with my USB cable as i have more than one genuine Apple lighting cables, I've plugged my mothers iPhone 5 to my laptop which is also updated to the latest version and it connects, charges and also shows up on iTunes. I have tried connecting my iPhone to other laptops (sister's HP laptop, dad's PC) and it works perfectly fine (charges, syncs to iTunes) so im sure its not my handset. I have updated my laptop's software and iTunes and i've checked that all of my USB ports are working fine. Â
p.s. I had another iPhone 5 which i lost and had the same problem.
I have the Nokia BH-905 bluetooth headphones, and I have successfully connected them to the iPad 2. I cannot, however, find a way to connect them to my Dell Studio 14, Windows 7, 64-bit. I follow all the instructions to a T, but my computer does not recognize the heaphones when I click "Add a Device."
