I have a Mac running on 10.7.4 and Motocast USB is unable to sync any of my contacts to my Motorola. When I click under contacts it reports "0 Contacts", not sure if that's the cause. If so how do I make Motocast USB detect my contacts on my Mac?

View 2 Replies View Relatedi cant seem to sync my fb contacts.i entered my fb email/pass into the accounts appit said it was ok, but no contacts show up in my contacts nor do any show up in my gallery app. i tried re-entering the info, removing the acct, adding it again, rebooting my phone etc. now, it looks like there is a tiny bit of progress.. i can see "me" but that's it. in the contacts app, if i only select to display fb contacts, it just shows me and not body else. in the gallery app, if i hit menu and then hit "friends" again, it only shows me. why is this not pulling in any contacts/friends?
View 2 Replies View RelatedWhen I got my phone, the Verizon rep helped move my 3000 contacts from my old phone to the new one.They are all there in the phone.But, they will not sync up into Outlook via MS Exchange.It WILL sync a newly added Contact, so sync is working between my phone and Outook.This works both directions, whether I create a new record on my phone or create the new record in Outlook.It just won't work with the ones loaded on the phone at the time of purchase.How tag all my original Contacts on my phone so they will flow up into Exchange/Outlook?

We are using exchange online. I do have over 1000 contacts, could the number of contacts I have be the issue?
The Verizon Sales assistant assured me that I'd be able to Sync my Outlook with my Droid Razr as easily as I synced it with my old Blackberry Tour. Now, after several days' worth of set-up, google searches, forum searches and FAQ's, I'm come to the conclusion that Motorola did NOT build this function into the Droid Razr, and I have to pay a hefty fee for a decent 3rd-party app to do what my Blackberry did for free. Have I missed something?

I also rised an ticked to the motorola support but the surprisingly didn't helped. Yesterday I found the "Accounts and Sync Settings" application in my phone and as I checked it there, I found that my email accounts are listed there but the synchronisation settings for them is set to "OFF" which may be the reason why is the push not working.

View 1 Replies View RelatedTapping my way through "Go to all settings" > "Accounts" > "Google". I see my gmail account shown, and under that it says "Sync is OFF". Before the update to Jellybean I could find where to turn this on and off. Further tapping on my account name I get to a screen titled "Sync" at the top-left. The options icon gives me "Sync now" and "Remove account" options. The screen is filled with a list of Google things I can sync. Tapping any of those syncs that Google thing. But, none of them are configurable.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI've been using the Razr Maxx for just about a week now, and the push mail on my iMap account does not sync consistently. Sometimes it works fine, but usually mail just doesn't get pushed. When this happens, toggling the Background Data option seems to re-start the sync process, and the mails start coming in. However, after a while, it just gets stuck again. At first I thought that the trigger might be a disconnect from the network. especially during a drop from 3G to 2G, but it fails even if the network connection is stable. The POP accounts which are on a fetch-schedule work just fine.Suggestions for third-party clients such as K9 and MailDroid are fine, but these do not integrate with the Universal Inbox widget, which I feel is a great tool, especially since it combines text messaging, FaceBook and Twitter all in one.

Tried rebooting phone and deleting and adding back account. In the settings did the verify account and it says sucessful. I used an OG Droid before the Razr and never had this issue- they are deleted on the Droid when the account syncs.

View 6 Replies View RelatedFor some reason, I'm currently unable to sync my facebook events to my phone calendar. In the Settings>Accounts, my facebook account is listed. When i tap on my account and enter my username/password, I'm brought back to the list of accounts, and I can't sync either my contacts or my calendar with my phone.
I used to be able to do this on my Galaxy S and could do it for a minute on the Razr. Does anyone know what happened, and if I can re-establish the sync? I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling facebook, but it didn't do anything.
I created a smart action that disables data sync when the Maxx is not on a charger. It is an attempt to solve the problem of sporadic massive battery drain. I don't think background apps are running when this occurs, but anyway I want to know if a successful sync can take place while it is enabled only when plugged in to a charger.

It came up as a sync error.I then enter my passwords for both accounts and they then restore only to immediately give me a sync error. Tried deleting the email app cache and data,no avail. Deleted and added the accounts and got the same thing. I then logged into the verizonwireless website and deleted and added them on there. Same issue.An error pops up asking me to select one of the accounts below to re-validate my account.The account name is based on an existing email address which is associated with your verizon account. It also pops up sometimes that username and password are incorrect which they aren't.

When I set up, or attempt to, the favorites I can't get past 10 contacts in the 20 boxes provided. I press the + sign to add contacts, but when I press additional contacts they get inserted over some of the existing contacts thereby removing the others. When I press "favorites" at the top of the screen all of my choices appear on a list, but they don't all fill the 20 boxes.
View 7 Replies View RelatedWhen I open my Phone App, I have Favorites, Recent, and Dialpad catagories. What was Motorola doing NOT putting Contacts in the Phone app. I'm really unimpressed by ICS and actually prefer the previous OS.
Bluetooth functionality doesn't work well. There's so much idosyncratic about this OS that I personally do NOT like.
It seems that this release is typical of a manufacturer letting their user base beta test the OS for them.
