Since about 6 hours ago, there was no sound coming out from my phone when I play any media. Neither was there any sound when I made a call. The funny thing is that when I paired it to my Jabra Clipper Bluetooth headset, I could make calls without any problems. However, no sound will come out from the headset when I play any media. he problem persisted even after I did a forced reboot.

Most of the time(not all), when either making or receiving a call, the phone is broadcasting static to the speaker circuit of the BT. People can still hear and understand me. The static lasts for anywhere from 1/2 second to 5 seconds then goes away. It is only doing this during calls. I can use the voice command to initiate a call and the phone understands me and I can understand it, then when the Razor connects the phone circuit to the BT it will give the static(most of the time). Went to a Verizon store and tech guy verified all this. BT is two months old and worked fine with last phone last week. We are fairly certain it is a software issue with Droid.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have owned a X10 for 1 year now and didnt have any problems until I updated it with the new Sony ericsson updates. Now when I watch movie's or play games make phone calls or something simple like receiving txt messages or emails (or to put it another way, everything the phone was designed to do) the handset simply freezes and makes a terrible buzzing noise for about 4 seconds then it shuts off completely. The phone will then reboot. Sometimes it will crash again immediately and reboot again. I have seen it crash and reboot up to 5 times.
View 8 Replies View RelatedMy wife and I bought a pair of RAZR M phones three days ago, and right from the beginning, soung quality was pretty poor. It doesn't seem to be a problem calling voicemail, I can hear the machine just fine, but on all voice calls, I sound very muffled, and have a hard time hearing the other person. I tried holding the phone in every conceivable way which made little difference. This is especially bad when my wife and I call each other. I went to the Verizon store (not where I bought it), and they denied there was any problem and sent me away. I am running Android Jellybean (4.1.1). On my old Sprint phone, this was never an issue, but background noise was horrible. With the RAZR M, there is no background noise, but no clarity either.

Few days ago, I was driving, and I connected headphones to answer the call, but did not heard any sound. The problem was not in hardware of the headphones, because, the music and video player with connected headphones works fine, and I also can hear sounds wile typing on the phone, but when answer, headphones go mute, and mic is working fine. Before that, it was working fine.

iPhone 4S, iOS 7.1.1 with AT&T: When I place an outgoing call, there is no ringing tone on my end. I can hear the person when they answer, and they can hear me. This is happening with all numbers, not just specific ones (both cell and land lines). I've tried switching to speaker phone, which makes no difference. I've checked my bluetooth setting, and am not connected to another source. I'm not in airplane mode, or Do Not Disturb. My operating system is up to date.

If I turn on speakerphone all sound returns. If I turn it off, no sounds and the person on the other end sometimes gets a high-pitched ringing. Could it be a headphone jack issue?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI downloaded all my music from my computer through MotoCast. All the songs show on my Razr when I go into my music library. When I am connected to my home WiFi I can play all the songs. However, when I'm on 3G (no 4G in my area) only some of the songs will play. I tried to play an album in the car today and noticed that some songs were in bold while the rest were not. The songs in bold played in order, but it skipped all sorts of songs in between. I'm really at a loss as to what is going on.

On the DX, all sounds and alerts were muted for an app while I was activly using it. I don't want chat alerts WHILE I am chatting.
View 3 Replies View Relatedi remembered that being a standout feature of our phone, and while at home on wi fi (i have a 15mbps up and down fiber connection) netflix is just not playing back in the same quality that it used to.before i felt like video playback was almost on par with guys running 720p screens with higher ppi's...(rezound/gnex), at least within this particular app. but now? it looks like any other Internet vid with the quality on high (which imo still isnt all that great and still not as good as going to the desktop site and watching a vid set to 720 or 1080).no other phone was ever touted as having this ability (though i'm sure the rezound and gnex can) and a lot of it had to do with the omap processor being used...is something up with ics thats not letting it happen? or was it the most recent netflix update that supports 4.1?

View 7 Replies View RelatedDoes anybody know if the touch screen on the ES400 can activated/deactivated whilst making calls?The problem is, that as the hangup or mute are availabe functions for use, when you are on a call and have the device pressed against your ear/cheek you can either put the phone on mute, or even cut the caller off completely. It would need to be a function to switch on and off, as you may need to use the screen to turn hands free on etc.
View 2 Replies View RelatedWeird glitch I noticed in the first 2-3 days post ICS. Everything seems to be normal with the phone, except for the fact that when I plug it into a charger, this will automatically trigger the device to start playing the same song. The song plays all the way through once and then ends, after which everything is normal again. While the song is playing, I can't determine which program is responsible for playing the music so that I can stop it. There is no app or icon that pops up to indicate that music is being played, it's just as if the music is being conjured out of thin air. If I try playing a track on either Google Music or My Music during this time, the second track will start playing at the same time as the first, almost as if the software doesn't recognize that another song is already playing.
Again, this only occurs when I plug the phone into a charger. Happens consistently whether it's a wall charger, usb or car charger. I've been searcing like crazy through Settings and Smart Actions to see what's causing it, but have come up empty so far. Tried rebooting a few times (both hard and soft reset), clearing out the cache....everything except a factory reset which I'd prefer to avoid if at all possible. Has anyone else experienced this issue? I've been scrolling through various message boards but haven't seen any examples of this yet.
The 2 games that I play most often, at least at this time, are Angry Birds and Hungry Shark. I have noticed that while I am playing that the screen will just freeze for about 3-5 seconds. There is no specific time when this happens, but it does happenevery 1-5 minutes. When the screen freezes the sound continues. This happens multiple times during game play.
I find this rather strange and would like to know if anyone else has noticed this. When I first noticed it in Hungry Shark, I thought maybe it was a problem with the game, but then I started playing Angry Birds and I was seeing the same behavior. I have to believe that this is a hardware or OS conflict since it is happening in multiple apps. I don't remember seeing any notifications or phone calls when this happens.
I have attempted to use these horrible headphones wiht multiple different phones now and I still have the same issue If I am walking around the sound constantly cuts out and skips!I can't believe Motorolla would seel such a useless product.I don't know if it has something to do with the buildings in the city or what because if i am in my car or on the subway it doesn't really happen, only when I'm walking around the city.

View 12 Replies View RelatedNever had problems with Nokia in the past, and after happily purchasing a Nokia X6-00 16GB in the month of March of this year, my thoughts on Nokia only reinforced WHY i've always gone with Nokia.
Now, i purchased the phone when i was living in England, i moved back to Cyprus in April shortly after the purchase and got the phone unlocked, put in a Cypriot Sim card with CytaMobile. Everything was just great.
This past month as been slightly less of a joy though, out of no fault of my own, the phone seems to stop recieving and making calls, all calls get diverted to my answer phone, and to solve this problem i have had to turn the phone off, then back on again. Problem solved.
That was until this morning. I can still recieve texts but if someone attempts to call me, they are greeted with a 'beep' and then the phone call ends on their end.
For me i am greeted with deadly silence, then a little notification saying 'No Answer'.
I have restarted the phone;
Restored Factory Settings'
Upgraded to the latest firmware it will let me, being v20;
Still no luck, i am hoping it is not an internal problem with the phone, as in Cyprus as far as 'Offical' nokia care points are non-existant. The SIM card is on a contract, so if my phone had been cut off, so would my messaging and my internet which are all still in-use, and work just fine without problems.
On another note, if you are unable to find a cause for that problem, maybe you can give me a quick reasoning on why the phone shuts itself off when i choose the facebook application on occasions. Again only over the past month has this been happening.
